I love your show Bob and Brad. Watching you both is helping me to practice the correct exercises for my problem of lower back and shorter leg symmetry differences due to a tilted pelvis. I use a latex pillow for my head and large folded towel under my thighs and little firm pillow under my feet to sleep on my back. Also, your stick idea helps me when I do my floor exercises. I want to try your mattress and foot slides.

I just got diagnosed with arthritis in my right shoulder, so it's not very bad yet, but I'm going to start doing these exercises to make sure it doesn't get any worse.

Using a table for stretching was great. Hands behind the head and flexing backwards also does wonders. I combine this with the "window washer", where you stand with your feet parallel to a wall as close as you can, arm stretched in front of you and palm against the wall, and then move the arm up and over my head and back down behind me, kinda like a washing motion if you were cleaning a really big window. It's great for motion, but painful without warming up first.

Great video! Your first pose is extended child's pose in yoga. I love Brad's statue of liberty stretch and hanging a lot for my shoulders! ☺

You can probably get a good and similar stretch just standing near a door and using the frame as you push yourself forward.

My shoulder has limited movement due to osteoarthritis. I don’t have pain unless I push my shoulder. I want to try to improve the movement.

Hey Bob&Brad, I have a question. My right shoulder hurts when I keep my hand straight forward in front of me and I rotate it, like from palm facing down going to palm facing up. Its not a big pain but the other shoulder is absolutely fine. Pain gets away a bit the more I do, I am not sure if I get used to it or its helpful rotating my hand like that but I feel a burning sensation on my shoulder after I do it.

The shoulder joint has the least amount of support from tendons and ligaments and heavily depends on the muscles for stability. Try strengthening all the stabilizers in the shoulder complex. Right, Bob & Brad?

Some of these exercises don't make sense. If you have arthritis, chances are you have it in your knees as well and can't put weight on your knees.

I wanna point out a useful thing for anyone lost, who lost mobility in shoulder and upper back, and has pain there.
Fixing those trigger points has 1000% efficiency, you WANT to do it first thing of all. Get two balls, one soft tennis ball, and 1 baseball ball.
You may start with tennis one, if it’s too rough, but evetually you need to get to the hard baseball ball.
Lie on your back, find those tight muscles just a bit lower your scapula and squeeze yourself down to ground, pushing on that ball with your whole body.
Crush them muscles, don’t forget to breathe. Take your time, make pauses, it will be painful but after pushing like that 2-3 times you will feel ecstasy and lightness.
You will feel your hot blood flowing from your toes to your spine to your brain. Warning, you will experience hysterical laughter of joy afterwards.
But don’t get too happy yet, you have two more trigger points to work on, in the scapula. The guys in the video showed them, take soft ball if feel too much pain, it’s ok, you build up gradually.
You may not find those trigger points right away, but if you’re really tired of pain, take your time and try this, it’s worth it.
I’ll be happy to help, if you have any questions.
