I appreciate your tip on cranking until oil comes out the feed line and then crank some more after it's connected. Thank you for the trick on flaring your own pipes at home. I haven't seen that before. You're the real shade tree hero, man.
I appreciate you boss, your work is inspiring, I've been gathering the parts to build my dream Gen 1 Turbo Diesel Toyota pickup, finally have what I need to start. Now I just need to do it!
This was so good to watch, you just earned a sub man, you made a turbo install so easy bro, I've been watching a lot videos and they where all complicated, but this gives a bit of motivation to finally turbo my civic the right way with good info aswell
by far the best and most in depth turbo install video ive seen, also the easiest to understand and follow along. Also like that you mentioned the break-in procedure of the turbo, most videos ive seen dont even explain that crucial step.
I've got to be honest, you are absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable and although I'm nowhere near confident enough to embark on a swap and subsequent turbo kit on my 7th gen civic yet, you definitely have given me the inspiration and the motivation to take my time and do it all right the first time. Thanks man, I appreciate you!
your videos are the best man. they always inspire me, im finally at the point in my life where i can buy a project car and im gonna be doing the same stuff you do, as budget as i can without cutting corners. keep up the content man i cant wait to see this thing ripping.

Great realistic budget content as always. Love your content. Small tip, make sure the sun is facing you when shooting, like at the start. All the best.
brilliant budget build. Please Do More . Oh yeah that intercooler piping off the Throttle body needs to be modified to be more neater. Other than that you re doing amazing job man !
That’s not a bad flare for doing it at home that’s pretty good. For that power it will hold for sure with a good clamp. I kept blowing the T bolt clamp off on my STI but that’s at 40 psi and I have an ETS piping kit for my car so switching to a worm clamp held better ironically so yes most times something might seem like it won’t work but it does.
Here in LA not one muffler shop would touch that last pipe, because gruesome Newsome has his gestapo secret police out making sure that fun is Verboten...lol...
Great job on the install, it looks really good and I am super excited about it too, now my question is, all that power that the turbo is generating that is on stock internals? Can the pistons are piston rings handle the heat? Awesome job Justin.
@@79thproductions Nice, I am super excited to know that the engine can handle it no problem, thank you for the heart Justin, I really appreciate it brother, God bless you.
They sell a Tool for putting the bead on intercooler piping for super cheap. I got one on ebay for like $15. Wish i had it in the past as i had to flare piping like that on my car and it popped off a few times until i treated it with hairspray. I was running 22psi though so maybe lower boost it handles just fine.
Love the videos man, quick question tho. Do you think it would be worth it to turbo my 7th gen civic with 340k on it, enigne still runs strong no issues whatsoever mechanical wise?
I once saw a guy put a brand new turbo on his LS engine, but for some reason he didn't do a feed line for the turbo. So when he did a bunch of test fires, what do you think he used to lube the turbo?. Wd friking 40 just sprayed a bunch of it in the turbo and started it. Facepalm wd40 is going to go straight through the turbo faster than he can get in the car and start it :P
what ecu are you running for your swap? my b swapped eg sounds crammed on cold start like an old v8 and i have no idea what it is. but after it warms up its fine
Salut Pour être sûr que le turbo soit alimenté en huile tu peux aussi débrancher le tuyau de vidange. Comme ça tu es certain que l'huile a traversé le turbo.
hello sir, i have a 98 ek civic can i install turbo with stock fule system and ECU ? the ECU not really stock i have a ready file "hondata" and the engine is stock b20b/b16a

22:43 id pull the fuel pump relay as well so it isnt spraying the cyliners with fuel washing the oil off the cylinder walls as well
Great video. Cannot wait for part 3!!!!
Best video editing from you I have ever seen your should work for some kind of car network or something. 😊😊

Love your pipe flaring tool it was awesomeness 😎😎
Keep the videos coming baby!! Lemme hear that turbski spool
how do you set or control the amount of boost on this? love your videos man. finally someone posted an easy to understand turbo installation video.
Hell yea brother cant wait for part 3
Es muy alentador ver los videos de este canal, sigue así 🙌
Glad I'm not the only one without a deburr tool
Don't forget to get a good tune, its one of the most important steps is to get a good reliable tune thats safe and healthy for what mods you have!

hope one day you hit a milly subs
Great job thank you for the explanation
For this setup will it still require the cooler range spark plugs ? Great DIY video!!
been waiting on this one
Congrats its looking good!
Can’t wait to do my turbo on my accord
Well done!
I’m glad you’re using a guard on your angle grinder now lol
I’m just building mine today! Perfect timing for your drop. Thanks
Where did you get your dump pipe please? My kit doesn’t have one
I took the flange that came with the kit to the muffler shop. They welded a pipe on it
@ thanks - I need a muffler shop! I really appreciate your budget builds
By any chance do you have a video of how you installed the fuel pump and injectors ? lol man you really motivated me to do this to my dc4!
what a great video, nice nice. thanks

Love your content Justin, but what ECU are you using on this build? I have a CR-V I want to boost so what ECU should I use?
Pure gold 🏅
Love the videos man, quick question tho. Do you think it would be worth it to turbo my 7th gen civic with 340k on it, enigne still runs strong no issues whatsoever mechanical wise?
Good advice with priming the oil for the turbo. The plier crimper tool is actually kinda genius.

Nice video man ,you good
Let’s go!!! Had to click soon as I seen you drop. 😅
your the best dude.. my question is can a civc automatic engine be turbo?. my car is a 99 civic dx
Great job bro
Also are you doing ECU, injectors and fuel pump upgrades too?
I once saw a guy put a brand new turbo on his LS engine, but for some reason he didn't do a feed line for the turbo. So when he did a bunch of test fires, what do you think he used to lube the turbo?. Wd friking 40 just sprayed a bunch of it in the turbo and started it. Does it need a little more than 4.5 quarts? Some of the oil is going to be in the lines and turbo. I would add a little extra to account for that.
I’ve heard from my tuner that it takes 5 quarts now with the turbo instead of 4.5
I've got a question what first car/truck builds on a budget of $5000 do you recommend/suggest?
Were in Spartanburg too and are building a turbo d series and wondering if you mind putting us on with your tuner?
Very nice car, and build. How much power are you look to achieve?
250-300hp
what ecu are you running for your swap? my b swapped eg sounds crammed on cold start like an old v8 and i have no idea what it is. but after it warms up its fine
first drive should rip, whats the tuning plans?
Please paint the piping black and change the couplers also to black . This will make it look less cheap
Salut
Pour être sûr que le turbo soit alimenté en huile tu peux aussi débrancher le tuyau de vidange.

Wont the engine flood with gas as well ?

Nice let’s roll 👍
Nice kit, Would it work in a civic r18 engine and if so send link please
good video i like it
Don't u have to tune the ECU???
Let's go!
Pull the fuel pump fuse out next time. You can hear the engine flooding.
would this fit my 1991 honda civic hatch back ?
What about ecu tune ?
💙💙💙
ECU?
where's part 3 bruh

Whatever happened to the eclipse?
The videos will be out soon, I have so much editing to do for that car.

I would not recommend using a ball-bearing restrictor plate on a journal-bearing turbo you will kill it one day.
I've been running mines like that for 5 years, no problems.
@@79thproductionswhat would be the danger of making the restrictor hole bigger?
