Wow, i bought that same style manifold like 20 yrs ago....i use to get flammed due to it cracking😢 but props to you and maxspeeding.....they made the turbo process very inexpensive and straightforward. I use to tell people, this setup is cool for a daily driving situation with a good conservative tune and boost level.
I love how your very calm and careful on how you install your mods and better than that your mainly doing it with one hand while showing your supporters how it’s done. Love it man!!
I follow this channel yet youtube only now showed me this video a month after release. This the stuff i want to see not tiktok crap. Dude make this look like a walk in the park. I'm planning to turobo a little nugget I have in the future. Not meant for speed but it will definitely be quicker than anything from it's production line, past and present.
I believe that oil restrictor is for ball bearing turbos. For journal bearing turbos, you go with a -3an line with no restrictor. It may not get enough oil with that one
HEY. Thanks so much for all the clear details , not a lot of videos like yours. Your video is so clear im going to purchase that kit. and do my own installation . Thanks to you. keep up the good work.
Hopefully after all this is done you get it tuned properly and have a decent clutch/flywheel setup to handle the extra power...also depending on how much HP you want have all the other supporting mods to make it reliable and conplete. 👍
I didn't know about the sandwich plate before. Every time I've seen youtuber kids put a turbo on a car they have no idea what they're doing and end up burning it up lmao, now I know why they weren't getting enough oil.
That manifold has pretty bad wastegate priority. I would watch out for boost creep. Run lower boost spring in case it will spike 2-5 psi at redline. Nice kit!
what would u suggest for a budget ecu? ive seen theres the speedwino's but should i just go with a s300? also would 300-350whp be reliable on a stock h22a4 with head studs and fairly new rings and bearings be good or should i get some better piston's and rods first?
Which motor is this for??? Also question for anyone. How easy is it to tap the oil lines to the pan. Or do they sell certain pans you can just install?
@@hondagamer79 Currently I am doing a Turbo conversion on a 6 port 13B and I am definitely removing the actuators because I am using the high compression rotors!
Imagine having this guy as your dad or uncle. Great upload, thanks for leaving the instructional audio in too!

I need part 3!!! I'm doing this to my EJ2 right now and am stuck. I find your content very helpful - please keep it coming.
I love the fact that you stay budget friendly. Not everyone can throw the bank at the build
Part 2 bro.. this is the best turbo install I seen hands down .. u da man
at this point... i need to buy a civic and build it following ur videos. I learn alot every time

My thoughts exactly. Hunter tuned has explained this several times. I’d drill that hole out at least double the size.
@CP_FPV yup that's where I just heard that is Huntertuned. He lives like an hour and a half away from me
Please post p2 love your videos man
I will surely be following this process step by step . 79th you’re a godsend big homey !!
Waiting on part 2! Thanks for such an informative series!

This is the best turbo installation video on UA-cam so far 👌 🙌
Loved the details on the next vid please show us the vacuum set up this really helps
No Joke, I did this for a friend when I was in HS back in 1997. Good for you bro! Good work.
looking forward to part 2
Awesome bro, one day I'll see a D series being built and turboed on this channel.
There’s an older channel, I used to communicate with the guy I don’t think he’s posted in years though. His channel is D serious
Much appreciated. Can't wait for part2, i have the same kit for my b18b delsol. Will be using your videos for reference.
Amazing video ! Can’t wait for part 2
Can’t wait to watch this video after I get home from work!
Waiting for the Part 2 brother!!! You are a definitely a great teacher bro.
Man, Excellent, Congrats. King from India.
This is the direction I'd like to see the Hatch Back go. Cheap, fast, fun. : )
VT247
Cool stuff you doing with this turbo
Thanks for the upload, great steps so anyone can fallow.
Excited for this, thank you for your knowledge!

trick for anyone or you for future use, run a little bit of automatic trans fluid in the hose and on the nipple of the fitting
always a successful work Justin can’t wait for part 2 of the vid👍
Im so glad youre back bro
New to the channel and waiting to see how this turns out.
Looks like a fun project
Just wrap a cloth around that nuts. No scuff marks. Those shifters are perfect in my eyes 🎉
Loved watching this bro! Keep at it!
Gotta keep them videos coming brotha !
Great video man 🔥 I wanna boost my k24a2 soon
Babe, 79th productions uploaded
Great video. Great kit! Stoked
Let's go Justin love the content 💪💪💪
I love this guy!

Before you drive that thing fix the radiator hose or it won't last long. Interested to see how that thing spools.
Great video!!

Nice kit!
a bro love ur videos bro keep it up man
Part 2 is going to be a banger!
great video big bro
nice job.
That looks like a nice small turbo. I wonder if you ran a d series log manifold on a d16 if it would be a tight enough fit to keep ac.
Good content 👍
Good video bro

i drilled my restrictor out cuse the turbo is not a ball bearing. There for it needs more oil. Am i wrong?
I LOVE YOU
Give us part 2
Can I do this to a d16y8 engine?
P2 right away
can you make a video on how to install a turbo on a mx5
@79th Productions how much did the manifold cost you? is it just a cheap ebay manifold?
Cheap ebay manifold. It would be better to get a cast manifold for like $60. These manifolds get hairline cracks often.
whats that cold air intake called?
What is the expected power output? Has anyone tested this kit?
Well swap vtec head. Vtec + turbo = more power
It's a little more elaborated than VTEC + Turbo = more power. High compression pistons + VTEC + Turbo is how you blow up these engines!
@@juancabeza5809 lol yeah low compression better for turbo hi for NA :)
@@hondagamer79
Currently I am doing a Turbo conversion on a 6 port 13B and I am definitely removing the actuators because I am using the high compression rotors!
@@juancabeza5809 well I haven’t seen turbo with HI compression pistons I hope it’s not going to blow up.. nice experience
Where is PART 2??? for the turbo install?
Does adding lube help when making the AN line?
I'm sure it does, I didn't think to use any
Love your videos but that turbo is going to be way too big for that motor?
That turbo is relatively small and cool for a 1.8 honda motor.
Not at all
how many HP will that turbo give you? 20-30????
I installed the same setup on my blue civic and got 301whp.
12:14 would that effect oil pressure at all
oh 16:54 i see why it wouldnt.. tiny hole
14:35 you play the same segment you had already played around the 12:06 min mark
yeah that fucked wit my brain my high ass thought de ja vu moment
First
👍💯💪🔥⛽️🐎🐐🚀🚘
No leaks
Those eBay ports with the small hole are garbage ,their are videos on it ,go get a good one
What happened to the blue car? Wasnt that already turbo and is that the motor out of the blue car?
