That is AWESOME that the tuner was able to tune the factory ECU!!! when i say this gives me so much hope for when i build my second 3g acura TL.. I had a 05 Acura TL 6 speed manual car, when i was bone stock with a ram air intake, and 3rd cat delete the car woke up and got pretty peppy for what it was. Unfortunately i never tuned it due to not wanting to spend 1800-2500 to JUST BE ABLE TO TUNE IT.... not even including the freaking tune itself lol.. I ended up going FBO with the car as well as lightening it up a fuck ton. I went from 3550lbs to 3100lbs I went crazy with the diet for the car, not only did i cut anything and everything out of the interior of the car, all seat belts and brackets were removed, door cards were gutted out, entire rear trunk area was stripped, under the dashboard itself was gutted to where it only had the things needed only. Then i went into the entire suspension setup of the car, anything i found that would drop any weight so be it 1lb i ended up doing it. EVERY SINGLE NUT BOLT & WASHER was replaced with lighter hardware, that alone i shaved 55lbs which had me surprised as a mfer lol.. The goal was to have a 12.9x - 13.1x car when said and done. due to me not being able to tune it i figured if i dropped 500lbs thats .5 of a second right there. my car ran a 13.8x with the previous setup so i figured it would be very close. Ive beaten a Stage 2 APR tuned GTI that made 330whp from a dig, 20 roll, 40 roll, and a 60 roll (that one he almost got me on). The same exact setup car apart from being 500lbs lighter but his was tuned, ran a 12.8x @ 109mph. My car went 13.3x @ 106-107mph. i also had a 75 shot and a 125 shot whenever needed, i used it to beat a bolt on scatpack lol.. but n/a he got me by a car maybe 1 1/2 cars. But my next 3g TL will be AWD and staying n/a for as long as i can tbh. I need the car to be as close to 3200lbs with me in it as i can this go around, atleast for it to be competitive. im currently building a 3.2l j32a3 for the car, im trying to source a transmission and the AWD system out of a 4th gen TL/TLX or whatever theyre called now lol.. I just want another mid 12 second daily driver and ill be happy, plus the AWD setup would be a huge surprise for a lot of people as well as itll help with traction issues as the car gets faster, my old motor made 285whp and im hoping to make close to 330-350whp tuned and AWD this go around. please if you can how do i get in contact with the tuner, id really love to pick his brain a little as well as get my car tuned by him.

Tuners like that are worth their weight in gold. It's such a shame Honda made these wrong wheel drive. Could you imagine if these were rear wheel drive? Fuuuuuck man it would have been amazing.
On most of the Honda's there now bolt in kits that don't require any custom fab to the body. But you compromise on space for exhaust. Most of the kits for Honda use CRV viscous hubs. Which means the rear only really kicks in once the front is spinning.
Awesome project! I have a 2006 Accord with 220k miles on it. Was motivating to watch your videos and do much needed maintenance on mine. I say your next project should be a 1968 BMW 2002 (with the round tail lights) or something in the Datsun family. Maybe an old Datsun truck as the base of your tow truck.
You are at the perfect stopping point for a daily. Resist the temptation to take it further. Also sorry that the bike part did not take off. It was a relaxing end to your videos IMO.
Totally sick build. The added complexity of J series boosting keeps many away, it's cool you went for it and custom fabbed what you needed. Fastest car I've ridden in is a stock 02 Mustang GT so I'm not gonna pretend 350whp is "reasonable" for a daily. I think it's insane and awesome LOL. As much fun as big turbo power can be, again since it's a daily I totally get the smaller turbo choice. You're happy, it's your car and that's all that matters. Look forward to whatever else you have planned with the Accord and beyond man!
Gingium im very forgetful i forget your young helper friends name. I would love to see a series where he buys a car of some sort and you do a small build with it and make it cool !!!! Seems like a nice kid and he would really appreciate it !!
Great video. Great power. The j series is so underrated as a platform. I had a j35 swapped 99TL with a 6 speed and it was a true sleeper back in 07. I noticed your front wheel has some movement, it may be time for some new control arm bushings.
These J30 motors are beginning to be a real common swap on 91-00acura NSX. This build with turbo is perfect power for that chassis. Your Tuner knocked it out the park with this especially with the stock ecu.
I absolutely love seeing the J-Series get some love! Thats interesting, reading the actual code to tune. For simplicity and cost, sticking with the stock ecu looks to be it! Now more in depth / higher power setups, As you saw while hes able to tune the 7th Gen ecus it took forever to upload. The simplicity with Hondata and moving over to the 07/08 TL ECU makes it very user friendly with all of the software and data overlays making tuning a breeze. We also offer TONs of standalone ecus and plug n play adapter harnesses which opens up a ton of additional sensor, traction control settings and just about anything else you can think of that even Hondata doesnt offer and especially not tuning the stock ecu.
Thanks man! Upload time isn't a big deal when you can get it done in 4 revisions though lol. Spending $2k+ on an ECU/Harness before you've even gotten a tune is..... a bit much for most people. I mean this car's not exactly bolt-on and still we worked with the stock ECU. If you're going for massive power then yeah you should invest in some modern engine control.
Man. F anyone who was upset with biking at the end. Caleb was passionate about it and it didn't ever bother me. It's his video he can do whatever he wants. I hope to see them return
@@L1mbo he said it was hurting the performance of the videos, so its because people were clicking out in mass enough to hurt his income. Not because of comments alone. He cant nuke his income just to show off his other hobbies
Love the build, the j35/37 engines are so under rated imo. Brent from PFI Racing had one in a burnout car and it sat at like 9000rpm plus for a few minutes without problems, and was boosted on stock internals!
I feel like a video at the Tail of the Dragon would be boring. They police the shit out of that stretch and there's so much traffic you can't really wind it out.
This is by far my favourite build series . I’d definitely look at the numbers and think a lot of people love old school JDMCars. Turbo interior wheels few mods in exterior you can’t go wrong .
May want to look at some suspension bushing upgrades. You can see when you had the car on the Dyno early that the wheel caster was changing as you were slowing down on the Dyno.
Great video! You should upgrade your Intake manifold. I'd like to see how much more power you can add. If I remember correctly a j35 and j37 should fit, J37 has a bigger throttle body. There both made out of magnesium and is a lot lighter and should be very easy to Port and Polish
ive been following the series since you started and just wanna say, watching this video of everything working so well is so satisfying XD, love the BOOOOOOOOST!
Dont listen to the haters brotha just post what you wanna post but to be honest even if they are like below 10 minutes you shojld make a biking channwl it would probably grow way faster than you think or post biking in between the car videos @_Gingium_
@@_Gingium_I think the bike content would've worked better as separate videos or as a separate channel. I'd watch the main video and watch the bike content in the week. RIP bike content, you will be missed.
Where is your actuator feed first taken from? Might fix that boost spiking if you were to move it closer to the turbo. The intake doesn't pressurise evenly, it flows. If your actuator (and boost controller) is taking its reference from far down the intake, boost pressure at the turbo will be higher than your desired boost by the time the actuator even gets to react to it. If it's taking it at the turbo outlet housing instead, it can react far sooner and do a better job of keeping spiking under control.

28:55 I’d love to see an autocross with the accord vs Molly, fwd turbo accord vs rwd turbo Miata would be an interesting matchup for sure
Bro that tuner is wild man. Huge props, that is intense.
Thank you!
Yaaay a new video!
Man love to see a UA-camr still doing the work for himself! Love the process and the fabrications!
Tuners like that are worth their weight in gold. It's such a shame Honda made these wrong wheel drive. Could you imagine if these were rear wheel drive? Fuuuuuck man it would have been amazing.
Not sure how difficult AWD swapping the accord would be but that would be insane
FWD is way more fun, especially with Hondas under 500hp. Leave the AWD for the drag cars my bro haha! ✌🏼
On most of the Honda's there now bolt in kits that don't require any custom fab to the body. But you compromise on space for exhaust.
Most of the kits for Honda use CRV viscous hubs. Which means the rear only really kicks in once the front is spinning.
@@camerongsx9122doesn’t exist for this gen accord yet
@@C4RZZonly slow people say that lol
Ain’t nothing fun about spinning FWD
Seems like a nice kid and he would really appreciate it !!
well done. glad things are getting fixed and glad you got a reliable daily. keep up the fun cheers.
What is up with the front wheel movement @4:03? It looks like suspension is worn out.
Could be just lights that make it look like that, but yeh, that looks like it's shot
Control arm bushings are tired.
@@RollingRoadEFI that's what I was thinking
Great video. Great power. The j series is so underrated as a platform. I had a j35 swapped 99TL with a 6 speed and it was a true sleeper back in 07. I noticed your front wheel has some movement, it may be time for some new control arm bushings.
These J30 motors are beginning to be a real common swap on 91-00acura NSX. This build with turbo is perfect power for that chassis. Your Tuner knocked it out the park with this especially with the stock ecu.
Thanks bro!!!!!!
R.I.P to that clutch plate in about 3 weeks haha, what a beast
@19:40 is the face of a man who has exceeded his own expectations and is genuinely happy, love it bro!
Take it roll racing and yeah I would just close the video when I saw the biking.
i'm jealous of that car with those mods... good job!
I like the long test drives 👍
Killer work man. I was enjoying the bike content but I’m here for whatever you choose to do, can’t beat the car stuff!
There is some serious drag on the dyno which is going to throw off the results
How much drag is on your Dyno?
@@pitovlogs12 drags
Oh if you want to race our Turbo 7th Gen, hit us up!! 😁
And what Dyno is that!!!???
Should be separate videos & channel as if it's included in Videos, most will skip over it & it worsens your click retention & revenue
Idk man, never made me not watch a new gingium video
@@L1mboit's youtube video retention and consistency more watches all the way through videos get pushed harder and gingy is playing the you tube game
@xxhogan6595 ik but his main reason for stopping was people complaining in the comments, it's just sad
29:35 make shorts with your bike!???
I'm surprised that you haven't got an Adventure motorbike and have the same love and passion for fast cars and cycling. Best of both worlds
Honda control arm bushings?!
That wheel moved a long way
That's a good looking honda, I dig it!
Props to you Gingium for putting together that beast.
and shoutouts to My Boys Cash@XGN, Seb@Rolling Road
We love you big bro!
May want to look at some suspension bushing upgrades. You can see when you had the car on the Dyno early that the wheel caster was changing as you were slowing down on the Dyno.
When SERGEBO reflashed my TSX it was a long wait on these older honda ecus
So cool I basically bought a black 7th Gen Accord the same time and the amount of stuff done is insane. I just installed a sub
RREFI NUMBA ONE XGN PERFORMANCE NUMBA ONE
YEEEEEEE
best 7th gen v6 build, good work
Wooooo
So awesome! Do a road trip with track days / mountain biking, would be great!
can you build a bmw please?
Great video! You should upgrade your Intake manifold. I'd like to see how much more power you can add. If I remember correctly a j35 and j37 should fit, J37 has a bigger throttle body. There both made out of magnesium and is a lot lighter and should be very easy to Port and Polish
Are you guys not dying of carbon monoxide poisoning in there? 😂
That’s the best part when it gets to you and you get a little dizzy🤙🏼😂
ive been following the series since you started and just wanna say, watching this video of everything working so well is so satisfying XD, love the BOOOOOOOOST!
where mountain bike?
It’s RIP
Thank god
Swap the intake manifold and throttle body off a j37a4 acura tl @@_Gingium_
Dont listen to the haters brotha just post what you wanna post but to be honest even if they are like below 10 minutes you shojld make a biking channwl it would probably grow way faster than you think or post biking in between the car videos @_Gingium_
@@_Gingium_I think the bike content would've worked better as separate videos or as a separate channel. I'd watch the main video and watch the bike content in the week. RIP bike content, you will be missed.
16:23 this camera angle is so cool
Make it awd and go spank some r35s ...
Great build 🔥🔥
Where is your actuator feed first taken from? Might fix that boost spiking if you were to move it closer to the turbo. The intake doesn't pressurise evenly, it flows. If your actuator (and boost controller) is taking its reference from far down the intake, boost pressure at the turbo will be higher than your desired boost by the time the actuator even gets to react to it. If it's taking it at the turbo outlet housing instead, it can react far sooner and do a better job of keeping spiking under control.
Yo regardless of content please keep biking and doing whatever the heck you want in order to keep your life balanced and enjoyable.
I'm not into Mountain Biking and I even watched it at the end. That downhill trail in last week's video was sick.
thank you so much for thiss entire series, i have 06’ Accord V6 facelift (6spd) and i began losing hope that there was anything special i could do what was an already rare car. now i have so many new ideas this build came out great ! thank you from a new subrsciber !!
I would like to thank you for making this series. I also have a 05 6-6 honda Accord, and this gives me a lot of inspiration. Thanks again. I'll be keeping up on your videos
What a great build man. Really enjoyed watching this series. As a mtb’er myself I also enjoyed watching your mtb content. Dude, didn’t know you can shred!!
Watched this build from the beginning amazing work!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Really enjoying this project series, and as a fellow biker i appreciate bicycle segment too lol
The Honda's rippin' baby!
Bro you make me miss my turbo Hondas SO much! I have a twin turbo BMW now, but I would love to have another turbo Civic again.
You should start running pennzoil ultra platinum since you run platinum! Amazon sells it for like around 30 bucks for 5 quarts
It has more additives to help in extreme conditins/driving and is better then platinum
