@@lachlankemp6418Because I’ve always done a lot of Late Inward Heels (Late Pressure Flips) I was used to using my toe Late so the wrap came pretty naturally and the session I tried them I landed my first one in about 20 minutes 🙂
I used to love this trick man very hard. I was in a car accident a few years back and unfortunately can't skate anymore. You are awesome man. Watching you is the next best thing to skating myself. Wish we could play skate against each other with all the weird tricks
Damn, that final make was perfect: popped nice and high so there was no question of it being late, smooth obvious wrap, and clean af roll away! That front camera angle on the roll away was so satisfying to watch. Top marks JG! 🙌🏾🔥😍
I’m 49 now and grew up skateboarding in the mid late 80’s to mid 90’s. Watching your trick videos got me motivated to order the remake of 1 of my favorite skateboards back then, a powell peralta mike vallely elephant. I don’t want to go crazy but relearn some of the tricks I did regularly back then like 360 flips and both rear and front foot impossibles. Thanks for sharing.
Johnny, your focus and persistence is so admirable as well as your willingness to share your journey through it all, skateboarding and otherwise. Would have been great to have an example like you when I was a kiddo.
i watched johny like 8 years ago and im need to tell im very suprised and very proud of johny, cause even after all this years of skating and learing, he still has the same fun of learning new tricks, even while getting older. phenomenal! big love my g
The whole video was a pleasure to watch and the slightly chopped up format is cool. Keeps it interesting while increasing anticipation for the trick you're learning. Hats off to Lewis too for first doing the trick (?) and for being such an awesome and chilled teacher.
THIS IS A WONDERFUL VIDEO. YOUR ABILITY TO LEARN IS MUCH QUICKER THAN YOU THINK. I LIKE THE RESPECT YOU HAVE FOR THE SENSAI. YOURS ARE EASY ON THE EYES. HIS ARE SO QUICK IT IS HARD TO SEE THAT FAST, LOL. I AM PROUD OF YOU JOHNNY.
You made that so clean! These videos are great. Ha, this is what my sessions are like when I try to land one or two kickflips… minus the super clean ending. But, it’s good to see what it takes to improve, even for an expert!
Really good video, Jonny! The never late quote isn’t toppable so just a props for landing it. I learned impossible in 1991 and can say that doing them right on time feels great to me even now. You push envelopes or tear them.haha
Absolutely love your videos Johnny. You are always pushing things, always learning, never settling. It is amazing to watch. If I'd be ok in saying this, i think you might have a bit more success with tricks overall if you had a bit more speed when attempting them. Back when i used to skate, tricks were harder for me when i would go slow versus when i sped up some. Just a tip that i think might help in the future 😊. Keep it up Johnny, you're the modern era Rodney Mullen 🤘😎
There are so many great skaters that are not pro it's a shame... You don't have to mash up your body hitting massive rails or huge gaps or insane stair sets just hard work and dedication Jonny you're the best bro.... Love the new trick another weapon in the arsenal
I dont skate anymore because, well, schizophrenia has made it pretty much impossible (ayyy) but watching you makes me glad its still forever pushong boundaries.
Jonny really tweaks out the 'late' part of the impossible, he's really reaching the top of the ollie before starting it which is why I think it's harder for him to land but it looks way cleaner imo
Awesome! Another trick in the book for u Johnny. Impossibles are a beautiful trick in my opinion. Imagine pulling this trick on someone in the battle of the berrics? 😂😂 someone be getting a letter for sure..
i'm glad you returned to your challenges. it was too much freestyle lately. very astuning but not my style. Made me think if the patrons of this chanel are freestylers or may be your true path is freestyling. anyway ! love to see you againg. Keep enjoing skateboarding ! cheers.
No disrespect to Lewis at ALL cause that is an insane trick no matter how it goes, but I think Jonny's was a bit more vertical than Lewis' which always looks "cooler" just my opinion! But either way it looks hella cool!
Any video with Hop King is a great video! Well, any video with Jonny in it is great, too, but you know what I mean!😂 A part of me feels like it would have been easier for you to try it off of a kicker, especially because you seem to be wrapping it a good deal slower than Lewis, but you landed it flat in the end anyways, so that's good. And it only took you ONE DAY! Fantastic as always, Jonny!🤙
"An Impossible is never late, Jonny Giger. Nor is it early. It wraps precisely when it means to.” 🧙
Who is being quoted?
@@williamgass9242 The OG Wizard, Gandalf.
I agree..everyone does there wrap different ..some vertical some do all most like a shove it..
Wrap! You fools!

It was a pleasure my friend 🙏🏻 Absolutely killed it! 👊🏻❤️
how long did it take to learn the ollie late impossible?

love the sven interlude☀️ 11:03

Haha. Yeah, you've ever done that trick.
@@ChainsawChristmas Yes.... that is what I said
@@ChainsawChristmas I mean there are other brilliant skaters out there. Some just don't/didn't have a youtube channel ;)

Love to see the progress through a trick..keep kicking asss jonny!
loving this energy, cool to see coaching moments happening even at such a high level. hope to see more Johnny x hopking in the future!

Straight back at ya...You all are killing it :)@@LewisGerry
Yeehaw! Jonny and Hop King collab vids are always dope.
Keep it up buddy!!!
That is a nice trick! It is nice how you show other skaters having fun as well.

You are an absolute legend and huge inspiration for millions🙏🏽
Great job Jonny, very proud 🎉
Kick flip late impossible when tho?
Reverse kingpin trucks have been solving that hang up problem for quite some time lol; great video, I love to see the work that goes into the trick
CLEAN at the end there Jonny! Nice work
Great video, really enjoyed seeing someone teach you a trick
you learned it in a few hours and the last take was cleaner and more stylish than the mentors!
well done!
shoutouts to Ollie Fevang for having tricks like this when no one did them
I'm returning to skateboarding at age 33, 15 years without it.. Your videos are vey inspiring! thanks man!
Pls Jonny, never stop being humble 🙏
Loved the last 1 you had some awesome wraps through trying it
You're soo good, it's so motivating and nice feeling to watch your videos!!!
yeah man, that one looks tough for sure good to see the start point being a late shove. dedication ❤
Crazy good 👍. Love the "quick break" lol

Complete sickness for the certifiably insane!!!
Absolutely amazing.
Always nice to see some regional UK accents in the wild :D Nice vid Jonny
Unreal talent from both of you 🔥💪🏻
Mind blowing! Keep up the good work, Jonny!
Jonny's fire persistence is only matched by his respectful modesty.
Really good video, Jonny! The never late quote isn’t toppable so just a props for landing it. I learned impossible in 1991 and can say that doing them right on time feels great to me even now. You push envelopes or tear them.haha
Dang when you finally got that it was unbelievably clean
And now we'd like to see Ollie late Ollie 😎
Congrats Jhony! Amazing!
6:27 that standing impossible is just so sick by itself. Gorgeous.
I know you do these tricks and I’m not into skateboarding like that but i did play thps2 so reading Ollie late impossible made click the video so fast
The timing of this trick hits different, so sick
That last one was so smooth
Your amazing
Absolutely love your videos Johnny. You are always pushing things, always learning, never settling. It is amazing to watch.

Loved this video, need more epic ledge action, music was on point, killed that trick Jonny!
Johnny. Can you do a front foot impossible benihana? I've always wanted to see it
Have you seen Jake Wooten's ollie late impossible in his Santa Cruz part (3min23) ? Incredible (not flatground though)
A masterpiece of a trick.
love you @lewisgerry thanks for the good times jhonny
Jonny's is more of a real impossible.
There are so many great skaters that are not pro it's a shame... You don't have to mash up your body hitting massive rails or huge gaps or insane stair sets just hard work and dedication Jonny you're the best bro.... Love the new trick another weapon in the arsenal
Great video
I dont skate anymore because, well, schizophrenia has made it pretty much impossible (ayyy) but watching you makes me glad its still forever pushong boundaries.
I have schizophrenia as well, skating is one of my biggest coping mechanisms. I'm sorry to learn it causes you difficulties with skating 😢
I wish both of you the best and hope your diagnosis isn't keeping you from flourishing
nice trick !!! earlier today tho i saw a kickflip late impossible on shorts
That graphic is sick!
It's crazy how jonny learns a trick so good that it looks the best when he does it
Jonny Giger I wanna see you do a shifty ollie north
I knew some skaters cut their king pins off
Really enjoyed the video style.. :) Skate Frenz!!
"felt treshovitish"
Man when he was cutting the kingpin off I remembered flappy trucks which they say work the same like his do when you cut the king pin off
Ollie impossible one of my favorite trick since kid
my board just got stolen i’m so sad i don’t have enough money to get a new complete watching your videos help with the pain
Grind Kings and Krux have inverted kingpins. No need to cut the pins.
@9:10 but that guy is spinning board X axis .. so it's just a late shuv with the rear foot. @13:38 - MUCH closer to the impossible
sick that you got it finally bruh
pop jump tilt wrap bolts. looks very hard.
Jonny really tweaks out the 'late' part of the impossible, he's really reaching the top of the ollie before starting it which is why I think it's harder for him to land but it looks way cleaner imo
Damn his back foot is so fast no wonder he can wrap that at light speed
What about the new GrindKing trucks ? I like it.
Awesome! Another trick in the book for u Johnny. Impossibles are a beautiful trick in my opinion. Imagine pulling this trick on someone in the battle of the berrics? 😂😂 someone be getting a letter for sure..
"Only a few millimeters but this is going to make a huge difference,"....that's what I always tell my dates!
I love that your wearing Braille shoes.....how do you like em???
Braille makes shoes now?? They're the new world industries lol. Do they have them exclusively at Walmart with the boards?
I would constantly do this trick by accident in the tony hawk games.
What a great sharing
15:52 the dog also flipped :D
Diamond flip next 720 hardflip with 360 body varial
Impressive... now what about a late mike mo flip???
Frankly I can't imagine how this trick will look like, but will watch.
like an impossible but late
i'm glad you returned to your challenges. it was too much freestyle lately. very astuning but not my style. Made me think if the patrons of this chanel are freestylers or may be your true path is freestyling. anyway ! love to see you againg. Keep enjoing skateboarding ! cheers.

sick trick, props

I LOVE jonny
ThaTs a deadly skate trick
Tunes at the beginning vaguely remind me of Something Blue by Drftw00d
try Ollie north late tre or late dolphin
15:54 a guy preferred walking the dog instead of witnessing history 😅
such a good video!
little known fact: That was Jonny singing in the intro.
Do the Monster Flip! This is the real impossible.
rezlly thought you were going to hit that on the rail
My uncle did an Ollie late front foot impossible on flat
Sure. And your girlfriend lives in Canada.....
I'm kidding, bud.
Fakie smith or fakie willie grind?
As someone who doesn’t skate. What’s the difference between an impossible and a monster flip?
Nice one
Start with the olie North, or what we used to call oli one footer. Get that front foot off and then do the rap with your back foot
so good
6:34 that's me trying any trick 😀
Any video with Hop King is a great video!

i feel like calling it a fakie smith is akin to calling a fakie crook a fakie garbage
Faking smith backside flip out would be nasty
