Really interesting to see someone win on some crazy tricks, mostly in regular stance, rather than beating every trick to death in four stances. Definitely a big difference to a lot of berrics battles.
I've been saying this for years. Ollie and nollie, fair enough, they look distinct and have a distinct air to them. But switch and fakie are just completely pointless. Skaters today are so good that kickflip and switch flip look like the exact same trick, and the only way you'll be able to tell which one it was is if you know the skater's preferred stance.
I disagree other than PRod, and a select few others, I can tell if it’s switch or regular, the shoulders usually tend to be closed when people skate switch, besides Prod who opens his switch, but still I can tell because I know Prod is goofy, you learn somebody’s stance real fast after seeing them skate a few times
As someone the started skating in the 90's in Ireland when there was not a single skate park in the entire country, to see a kid from Donegal, who practiced an a shed win the Battle of the Berrics is absolutely nuts. Jamie is an absolute legend. 🇮🇪
I’ve been following Jamie on IG for about 4 years now and to see him win BATB is honestly chilling. Well deserved my friend. Much love from New Hampshire
Jamie is like a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater character that forgot to put stats on Spin. Incredible game by both players! Very happy Jamie won, can’t wait to see Jamie, Tyler, Spencer, Giger and Aurelian in the next BATB! 🔥
As soon as I found out Jamie was in batb I was like "this dudes taking it" his list of tricks is absolutely ridiculous that late Casper flip and that Merlin twist are absolutely dangerous to any competitor because you never see them anywhere else but you can tell he's worked hard to get them down because of how clean they are
@backsideflip um he has 2 the Casper flip and the Merlin twist and if the Casper flip is so easy how come I've never seen someone he's skated against land it hell almost half the time he takes a couple tries to land it
