This was a refreshing video for the channel. Having Douwe explain his lines then Jonny filming was so insightful. So good to see Jonny supporting the upcoming talent and exposing his icon skate park.
hes like a skater and a cinematographer at once, hes not thinking about the tricks, hes thinking about the angles, background, overall ebb and flow of the line. unique. i like it.
Amazing work, for him (obviously, that was extremely talented!) but also for you, Jonny! It's hard to get a line filmed well, _especially if it's a 9 trick line,_ but you did a bang up job! And it was really fun to see the process as it went along, and also to hear Douwe describe his mindset for focusing on lines throughout a park/spot. Love the quality of the home vid/audio, too, Jonny. Thanks for all the work you do, man; I appreciate it!🤙
Epic stuff Jonny. Lines are what it's all about. At the start of street skating in the 80's it was all about individual tricks in the street and I encouraged my subjects to put them together in lines- I had already perfected the P.O.V. follow/in front of/beside angles and once the skaters linked up the tricks back to back history was made. Thanks for keeping it alive 📚
Great video! Also, hilarious jab by douwe that there is more to see in that skatepark than that flat ground bit. 🤣Looks like a solid park. Nice to see the whole of it Jonny.
What a legend, I always try to make lines that hit every obstacle that I'm capable of but to do that level of tricks AND hit so many features is just insane
My brain just melted, what a joy to watch. Thanks for sharing 🤙. I been skating this way for 30 years. The tricks on lock build confidence for the harder ones. Full disclosure, compared to these two , I have small skills lol.
0:22 that 3 step in front of the Jones sign.. man that wouldve been a perfect nose manny spot in that line to then hop up for a another manny on the next step up. but yeah man, that intro movie was slick. nice stuff.
Amazing vid Johnny. I didn't know you were such an insane cameraman as well! 😂 BTW, godverdomme is definitely a curse word, it's comparable to goddamnit. It's definitely not the worst Dutch curse word there is, but I guess you had a good sense of what was going on 😉
What a great video. Imagine watching a video part and that line appeared suddenly in the middle of it, it would be crazy. Really enjoyed watching the process and I was imagining what my own line in your local would/could be getting to see the whole part in one shot like this.
Nice to see his approach and all of his trials before succeeding. Thanks for sharing ! Liked his way of skating ! As a beginner I can see that you really need to commit in skating. 20 years ago I was scared...of falling propably. Now I am able to understand and feel that once you do not commit you will pay the price. Tonight I hesitated to simply put the nose down, next phase was me rolling on the floor lol Skating is fun !
haha Douwe!!! I remember i skated with him at a vacation/holiday skate park, in the Netherlands, i also remember him being already awesome back then, nice to see him in your vids Jonny.
15:53 he said "godverdomme" which is very similar in use to the English goddammit, technically it's "god verdom me" (god damn me), but slurred into one word, just like god damn it -> goddammit in English. we just use "me" rather than "it" for the slurred one-word version, otherwise it's practically the same in its use as an expression for unpleasant surprise or something going to shit :D
Ive been following him on instagram and never really knew how to pronounce his name or where his name ended and last name started, now I know. Great vid!
About that "BRO" it's just bro as in brother, to us Dutch it what we call our friends often and in this case it was used for major disappointment, which is what we also use it for.
It was great skating with you Jonny!! See u soon 🙏🫶‼️
You have great style, man. Keep it up.
You had me at "Godverdommeuh!" 💯 Excellent skating Douwe, and congratz on making that crazy line
Sick to see you guys work together! I didn't know there was such an amazing Dutch skater. Sick line man!!!
You sir, are legendary
That was like a contest line! 👏👏👏
damn this dude lands everything soooo clean.
This was a refreshing video for the channel. Having Douwe explain his lines then Jonny filming was so insightful. So good to see Jonny supporting the upcoming talent and exposing his icon skate park.
Douwe is 31. Not too old, but young?
He somehow makes the nollie tricks look textbook and steezy at the same time. He also has the vibe of a 2000s tennis champ 😄
I remember Douwe skating Damn Ams against Ishod Wair. Been riding for Etnies for over 15 years, what an absolute legend !
Great to see Douwe in one of your videos! He's a dutch treasure and did a lot for the skating community.
hes like a skater and a cinematographer at once, hes not thinking about the tricks, hes thinking about the angles, background, overall ebb and flow of the line. unique. i like it.
He is like the biggest jock on planet earth🤣
Amazing work, for him (obviously, that was extremely talented!) but also for you, Jonny! It's hard to get a line filmed well, _especially if it's a 9 trick line,_ but you did a bang up job!

He makes everything look so easy ... but it's sooooo hard ... RESPECT! 👌🫡🍻
Great video! Also, hilarious jab by douwe that there is more to see in that skatepark than that flat ground bit. 🤣Looks like a solid park. Nice to see the whole of it Jonny.
I think the best part of his style is that he always has a smile on his face before doing tricks
This was a great episode. The line was super fluid and stylish. Didn't see the Kickflip into the pool coming! Great filming too!
Douwe macare as one of my favorite skaters his infinite lines 👏👏👏 great video
What a legend, I always try to make lines that hit every obstacle that I'm capable of but to do that level of tricks AND hit so many features is just insane
After trying to keep up and doing the filming, it gives you a new respect for the cameramen/women that do it for a living.
I have been imagining this collaboration on insta for years. It’s a treat to see you guys in the same frame!
Awesome and cant agree more about the mountain in the background
I’ve been following this guy on instagram for so long, Johnny please make a crazy part with this guy
My brain just melted, what a joy to watch. Thanks for sharing 🤙. I been skating this way for 30 years. The tricks on lock build confidence for the harder ones. Full disclosure, compared to these two , I have small skills lol.
Dude dat was INSANE!
That guy are CRAZY, mixing manual tricks with others, that is brutal.
Well DOne!
I love how you can tell everything in Jonny’s life is very clean and focused.
Jeetje wat is hij goed!
Groetjes vanuit het Belgenlandje.
Great Line! awesome of you to share with us and support him on his line
Kick flip into the pool was dope!
The consistency Douwe has is crazy. It’s one of the many forms of art that skateboarding has to offer for sure.
By the way, Jonny, you did some great filming this day!
15:54 „godverdomme!“ 😁
0:22 that 3 step in front of the Jones sign.. man that wouldve been a perfect nose manny spot in that line to then hop up for a another manny on the next step up.
but yeah man, that intro movie was slick. nice stuff.
You are king of flat ground tricks i swear you have everything in your arsenal its insane keep it up man!
Amazing vid Johnny. I didn't know you were such an insane cameraman as well! 😂
BTW, godverdomme is definitely a curse word, it's comparable to goddamnit.
Ooo the final line was so clean too 😅
Nice to see his approach and all of his trials before succeeding.
Thanks for sharing ! Liked his way of skating !

Skating is fun !
Finally we can see your whole local and something else than a flat between rail and pool.
Finally two of my most favorite skaters in one video
So good. His skating reminds me of the power of Luan with the athleticism of the Jah
tricks popped to the moon
Cardio off the charts 📈
That was crazy, he's so consistent! Awesome stuff guys
8:37 so funny , Big love for this episode.
Great skater! Great personality! Luve the tricks 🚀🚀
I gratefully witnessed greatness coming from hard work😌🙏
Love your content jonny giger!
long lines are the best! pure and stylish skating, no super technical trick!
Exactly. Simple and stylish beats unnecessarily technical every time
been following Douwe for quite a while now. very good fudging skater
That was great watching the process of creating the line, guys got a great mind and also great legs.
I would like to see you snowboard one day, I think it would be very cool to see how good an experienced skater snowboards.
Seeing all the process was really interesting ! Thanks for sharing ! Awesome line !
I never realized how awesome that skatepark is because we only get to see so very little of it.
haha Douwe!!! I remember i skated with him at a vacation/holiday skate park, in the Netherlands, i also remember him being already awesome back then, nice to see him in your vids Jonny.
Insanely good. So many high-level tricks.
feel like i havent seen dario on ages.. i miss him.
i love douwe
Great vibe, great skating, great filming and the percentage counter was awesome.. 👍
"There's more to the skatepark than the flat ground section"..... Yeah, wow - that skatepark is actually huge and awesome. Never had a clue 😅😅😅
3:47 That flip-out was truly insane. One of the steeziest skaters I've ever seen.
wow! this guy is soooo good! thanks Jonny for showing this guy to us
Nice level. I love the slowmo’s :D thanks
Is he training for comps? Cuz he'd dominate comps lol
What I sometimes crave from your videos is seeing you doing a consistent line with someone else recording it. Id love to see it!
i love you Jonny !!!! come to WA state. Shred the Seattle Center Skate Plaza
such a cool vid
Perfektes Video Jonny, wie immer!
So good!
Epic line man!!! Love it!!
Absolutely beautiful I love the vibes of you and all the people you roll with
That fun-box with the euro-gap looks positively massive.
15:53 he said "godverdomme" which is very similar in use to the English goddammit,

There was great perspective and insight in this video! And what an insane line! Sheeeeesh!
That was a beautiful kickflip to end his run
Clean and focused
That was amazing.
Sick line! I know you can do lines like this Jonny, you have all the tricks memorized already.
Awesome Douwe!
love it, love john
Ive been following him on instagram and never really knew how to pronounce his name or where his name ended and last name started, now I know. Great vid!
Great video and an amazing line!
That was sick! Bring on more skaters to try and one up it!
I gotta question: whats the name of your local skatepark?
Somewhat years back he was at the skatepark my friends and I build to tape a children’s show for national television. Very nice guy.
hey , love your content jonnyy
Damn. If this line was a high score contest in THPS, there would be forums of people complaining that the mission is too hard.
now lets see you do it dont tell me you cant
Douwe is a Legend
That line was impressive. Just like the amount of times he did those tricks! :D
Appreciate the commitment Jonny. Could tell this one was a little tough for you to want to do.
When he missed the last kickflip I felt defeated. That was fun.
About that "BRO" it's just bro as in brother, to us Dutch it what we call our friends often and in this case it was used for major disappointment, which is what we also use it for.
Great content ❤
Godverdomme means god damn it 😂
A very clean "godverdomme" executed perfectly first try.
The second curse was a little sketchy, needs more practice! (geen idee wat hij toen zei)
the switching to native language was the best!
Does this guy have magnets in his feet or something? One of my fav dutch skaters. Great job, Jonny, Douwe!
incredible!!!!
remember him seeing skating in a contest about a year ago in antwerp he was crazy
that line was incredible
Always clean
Yeah, I like this guy
Front side flip, under flip, anti-revert would be sick too!
Stoked good video!
If Nyjah was Italian. Impressive board control.
He is dutch
