Thank you for being one of the few rc channels that doesn't yell at me through the whole video. I mean I appreciate the enthusiasm from some of these guys but damn the whole video
I don’t do the whole ‘UA-cam’ shouty voice. I’d rather people called me boring than have to shout at a camera all day lol.
Same, that's also why i always prefer Tomley over the others. 😂
I so hate that, shouty channels just feel as though they are made for small children.
This! Sorry for shouting it. I cannot watch video where shouting all the time. I believe we are still in minority but luckily we have Mr. Tomley Tom.
Tumble wumble
Really enjoying this build! Great to see something really unique 👏
Cheers mate. Maybe I need 10 large drift wheels 😅
@@TomleyRC ...now there's an idea (imagines the artillery tractor decked out in Fast & Furious livery) 😅
The series I didn't know I wanted, but can't turn away. Thank you for the amazing content!
Haha… cheers dude
That belt drive is awesome. Now I picture a drag RC with dual belt motors, and a clear lexan cover over them for visual appeal.
Shaft driven, leave the pulleys poking out of the hood
They make a belt drive kit for the Xmaxx for using a big boy motor. I don't have it on mine but from what I've seen it's pretty good and durable. Exocaged has it on his all aluminum Vitavon 12S Xmaxx.
Nice work, realy liked the reference to GHPC! This truck can go to places you can’t even walk.
They have such a cool channel. And yeah.. I think this is gonna be pretty epic!

Just got home from work and watched this again ....but with a beer ! This is some rc build 👌👌
Loving this! Can’t wait for the body!!! Great build series choice!
A great benefit of that Radiomaster transmitter is if you have the 4 in 1 module, it can connect to most any receiver, so you can use it for any car in your fleet.
That is awesome man! Can’t wait to see finished product.
Videos like these always motivate me to do a kit myself and scare me from doing a kit myself.
I like a challenge, and I think part 3 is gonna be the biggest!
@@TomleyRC im hyped for the next part! Not the biggest fan of the train style body but its for sure gonna look epic with it.
Another way to achieve all wheel steering on the MT12 is to use the rotary dial P2 for the rear servo and use your thumb to rotate it. That way you can choose rear only, AWS,crab and how much steering throw you want rather than have the throws dictated by pre-set end points and how much,if at all, you steer the front wheels.
I can't wait to see the finished product! This thing is looking great already
18:13 Locomotive cockpit. Whoa, this will be cool!
What a project! It’d be amazing to see an HEMTT wrecker/crane body on this thing.
The RC is incredible. That Toyota also caught my eye. I've never seen one so clean and straight.
This is by far the coolest build you ever did! and do i know you right, the "house" is away to the painter :) GOOD JOB!!!!
Given it moves with you standing on it it shows it capable of doing quite a bit of work.
Have fun on your break. 🙂👍
That T-Rex is vary cool. Love the motor and belt set up.
Very unique never seen anything like this before. Love the motors and the belt drive
Can't wait to see this beast finished. That would be killer with a sound effects box on it
It's epic! I do enjoy the occasional big build. It's as insane as the pricetag. Can't wait to see it pull your truck.
That's crazy how tight of a circle it turns in! Sounds like a semi truck when it drives by!
What a fantastic machine. It looks like it should feature on some Sci-fi franchise, patrolling a distant planet, keeping the local populace in-line! 😆
Yes… needs few Starlink dishes on it 😅
I read "Doomsday Cannons" @@TomleyRC
LMAO, I love the little mini jack stands. Over the last year or so I watched a few videos here and there, but this build got me to subscribe. Very cool! I cant wait to see more.
This so dang awesome! A picture popped up yesterday on one of the RC pages of the motors setup and my first thought was "Huh, wonder if thats Tomelys rig?" Very sweet!
Glad you are breaking up this build into parts. Awesome to see 10 wheel drive and steering
Seriously impressive build and stunning truck, gonna be awesome when finished
This build rocks so hard!!!!!! I was literally clapping when it pushed the door open 🤣😎🤘 those servos are no joke I just put one in my dbxle2 and it’s wild how fast and powerful they are
Nice motor choice, they look really good. Love the way they mount!
I think this has been the best build video I've ever seen!! That thing is an absolute beast. 😎🤘🏻
You stood on it, is a UA-cam short. thats FRiGGIING awesome A++++👍
Haha.. this has lots of ‘short’ opportunities I think
Thank you for the latest build video. Very exciting and interesting 😁
Nice to see something different and unique. Not just another xmax build and bash and smash .
An 80s/90s racing livery with heavy weathering would be sick!
That is my favorite RC ever, I want one so badly lol.. hope they still sell them when I can finally afford to get one lol. Thanks for showing the build process, building is almost as fun as driving imo
I hope you can get one some day 👌
@@TomleyRCit'd be pretty amazing if there was a way for one of us to win one. If only there were such a way possible... Some sort of contest where one can buy chances in a drawing might work. Know anything similar? I paid over $20 for a few chances on a Raminator from some small shouty chap and I don't really even want a Raminator. Surely there's enough of us to make it financially feasible.
This is so cool! Can you imagine the epicness of seeing one of these in true scale?
That truck is just pure awesome. I think it's another of those things I'd like to build, but not so much to buy or own. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Awesome stuff Phil 👍🏻 What a machine that is!! Well done on the build! Great to see the maiden run! Can't wait to see it finished and parked next to a tiny X-max 😂.
Big props aswell buddy for packing so much into the videos and NOT dragging it out forever.
Good on you sir!
The turning movement is mesmerizing, awesome build sir.
You are hands down one of my favorite RC channels on UA-cam. You have always had a friendly disposition and enjoyable content that keeps me laughing throughout the entire video as well as amazed at how detailed you make the entire build experience.
Thank you brother 🙏
OMG that thing is an achingly beautiful piece of machinery. Every now and then you find a mechine that's also a piece of precision art and this beast falls into that category! 😉👌
I built a mad 6x6 King Yellow school bus with 4-wheel steering, and I wanted a setup like yours - conventional and crab steering. The RC6GS transmitter from RadioMaster will do steering mode mixing, but only after installing a specific firmware.
UA-cam University saved the day for me, too 🙂
In the end it was pretty easy, but after a couple 2 minute videos I probably saved an hour of fiddling.
Yeah, I think it’s easier on this if you use the optional switches that connect to the bottom. But as this thing has so many functions, I didnt want to waste 2 (well, 3) channels just for the steering
Wow, so fun to watch this build come to life! I can't wait for part 3!
That looks the nuts! Also in the GoPro footage it sounds awesome too
There's not many videos that I like first, then watch, but I knew this was going to be special, What a piece of kit 👌
Bravo, looks great 👍 very impressive work. Im glad i stumbled across your channel 6 months ago.
Thanks dude
I love the battery mounts. Great build mate.
I love seeing the preview shots on FB then seeing it here!
Great video sir... I'm also into building fpv quadcopters which gets very finicky sometimes but everytime I've gotten stuck I always resort to UA-cam and it always pulls through for me. Got to love UA-cam. If there's a issue guarantee UA-cam has a tutorial about it!! Have a great day sir Tomley and the truck looks awesome!!!
Yes!
Been
Waiting for this! Time to make a cuppa and a snack and enjoy 😁
☕️
Wow, what a cool machine! Thanks for the build !
So many more parts to come! I can't wait to see what you will do for the painting part.
That thing is amazing! Good job working all that out. Looking forward to the completed body🙂
Enjoyed the 1st video and finally get to see the part 2..great job👍🏻👍🏻😀
Just amazing truck
Simply brilliant
I remember the reviews you did on the hg trucks, I bought them on the strength of those, I've still got them, the point I'm making , is your reviews are direct and to the point and I for one, value them very much.
Thanks Peter, appreciate it
Watching the suspension working looks great.
that thing is a beast! can't wait to see the finished build!!!
I can't stop watching this.
Best build RC video series on UA-cam at the moment!
Can already say that it won't be a shelf queen!
Yep… no shelf queens here and this is gonna see some mud for sure 👌
That is absolutely brilliant fella. I love the noise it makes from the gearbox and belts
Yeah.. holding the sound box is decent as well
That's such a cool and unique build! It's going to look completely insane with the body!
That is definitely the smartest hardcore kit I know of! So cool you have it an even cooler for showing us an letting me see it drive an put together 🙏👍
It’s such a nice build. So glad I was able to get it on the channel
...respect for doing this build.
Spectacular build! looking forward to the next one.
Keep up the high end weird builds, these suit your channel well! Great dream build!super cool!
What an awesome build so far . Can't wait to see the next video. Keep up the good work.
Love your channel you keep it simple and straight forward and very explanatory keep up the great work from Mount Gambier South Australia
What a fantastic build, it oozes quality, it runs so smoothly. Superb. Sensational.
Man this project looks really awesome!!! I've been waiting for part 2 and can't wait for part 3. If I'd live in the UK, I'd love to see this behemoth in real life.
Good luck and enjoy the build!
And enjoy your time with the family!!
I’m looking forward to part 3… and dreading it as well haha, looks complex!
Like a kid in a sweet shop, I really don't blame you, brilliant
The radio is a super good one from all the reviews I've seen. A bit complex for a beginner like me but it sure is cool how you have the steering set up. Man this build is so incredible. I think the duel motor setup is the coolest. Very nice share Tomley. Love it... 🏁
It's the only one of its kind, edgeTX firmware and ELRS-capable trigger style...
The 'ThunderBirds' theme at 12:19 was spot-on!😁
Wow-thats not something i would go for, but that is one heck of a piece of engineering, and turning into a beast of a build-love the motor positioning, like a v8 with the cooling and timing belts🥰
Best review of the t-rex build yet, not afraid of getting it dirty or scrathed. Can't wait to see it finished and running
Love how the suspension works.
That is absolutely epic. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Well that just looks epic, looking forward to seeing the finished vehicle.
Definitely never thought I'd see a v-twin like that. :)
Loe this build! You say you may never do one of these again, but I think this is a seriously great set of videos, and Cross RC has had my attention for a while! Keep up the great work, I truly enjoy it!
Absolutely awesome, thanks for sharing!!
The motors on that truck sound amazing! The sound that thing makes is insane!!! NICE MY GUY I'm really impressed with it.
That's a very impressive build! Bravo! Cheers Mate from Orange County, California -USA!!!
lol I would say that is a nice tempoary stage with the cardboard. No judgments. I LOVE THAT THING!!!!!!!!!!!
Great build mate! LOVE the fpv video!!!! It would be cool to see the view of going forward too! Nothing but upgrades from herel. Thanks for sharing bud!!!
As awesome as that truck is, I’m amazed by the miniature jackstands underneath it. How cool is that? The rig is coming along Nicely Phil! Well done, mate
An RCers dream machine .
Now that's cool .
That truck is awesome, great job on it ,it has such an awesome scale look.
What a dream build! Seeing this car steer with all wheels is awesome!!😍
use to watch rc racing and all sorts of stuff a while back, see this has sort of pulled me back in, can't wait to see the next vid on it.
Dude I was looking forward to seeing this and it didn't disappoint. Really look forward to the next bit. I would love to see it versus other crawlers when it is done. You can tell Phill is loving this project. Great stuff mate 👍
That was awesome, can't wait for the finished product
Really cool ! Reminds me at my 8x8 I made a few years ago ! Congrats, very nice build.
gave me a great idea to diy, thanks ! sick twin motor layout
It's alive and looks amazing, can't wait to see it with the finished body cheers Phil 👍
Great machine Tomley.Looks good even without the body.Loving the dual motor belt drive system.Ya gonna need a bigger workshop.✌️
Wow, the belt drive looks incredible. What a cool drvietrain, I need something like that.
Reminds me of the vehicles they used in one Thunderbirds episode to land an airplane onto. Very cool.
Really enjoying this build.
