Really enjoy your videos, and you bring up some excellent points. My brother has lived in St. Paul, Minnesota, for over 45 years now, and he said the key to getting through winter there as you point out, is to get some good gear, get out there and discover some winter activities that you enjoy. I grew up with winter in the Midwest but have lived in Central Arizona for almost 40 years, and I am so ready to move to a 4-season environment--the key is good gear to keep yourself warm (I hike in the mountains often in the mountains during the winter months - avg temps 0 to 20 Fahrenheit), and as long as you gave good quality gear, you can have an awesome time. Even my snow boots have insulation in the bottom so no more cold toes!

Fairbanks is beautiful and peaceful, I been there 3 times and loved it. I am from Los Angeles and it’s brutal here.

@DiscoverFairbanks I am planning to move to fairbanks. I want conservative peacful towns. I already moved to Anchorage to start off. If I decide that I can take Alaskas long winter and loneliness I'll be up in fairbanks
