I definitely like his down-to-earth background and hearing about his family story. But remember, he's a charming politician. It doesn't take much to start seeing some serious flaws in what he says. For example, Trump lost the last election...and yet Vance still won't admit that in any conversation I've heard from him. Here's another...Trump had more former lobbyists in his administration than Obama. So don't buy their grift when they talk about draining the swamp.
Vance had integrity when he correctly called out Trump's issues back in the day. I don't trust this new version that can't stand firm on basic principles like the peaceful transfer of power.

JD Vance is bankrolled by Peter Thiel who founded Palantir, a big data analytic software whose only contract for the first seven years of its existence was the CIA. They now work with every intelligence agency in America such as the NSA and FBI, so that these agencies can purchase privately-collected data from Palantir to domestically spy on US citizens. Palantir also provides Israel with proprietary AI software called "Lavender," that determines where Israel should drop their bombs on Gaza, many times resulting in civilian casualties.
If you're a conservative, you should be asking yourself, "do I really want the next-up candidate for President of the United States to be someone with deep ties to the intelligence community?" Are these really principles that you should support? How did we get to this point where these are our two best options?
How did Vance go from serving in a Senate seat in 2023, which was bought and paid for by Peter Thiel, to being a Vice President nominee in 2024? Does this seem organic to you? Is Peter Thiel praying for a war with Iran so that Palantir's services can be broadened, increasing its overall value while increasing his net worth? Why would he bankroll Vance to the tune of $15,000,000 if not for some ulterior motive? Vance certainly seems hawkish on going to war with Iran, given his remarks about "hitting Iran hard." I’m a recovering addicted and I thank Trump for my recovery. I got clean at the end of trumps administration b/c my drug of choice was so hard to get out so expensive. If I didn’t get clean when I did, I’ would’ve been ☠️. Months after I got out of rehab, My ex dealer called me saying how Much stuff he had and the price was cut almost down by 70-80%. He said he was getting it right and left. Guess who was in office at this time 🧐. I don’t like Trump in the beginning, I was one of them, until I realized it was b/c of him he slowed down the trafficking of dope by closing The border and Biden and Kamala is the reason my ex dealer has unlimited amount of dope at Pennie’s in the dollar. Thank you Trump, I owe you my life and my future w/ my boys. Thank you so much. Right now I’m, literally, in tears thinking about how much he saved my life. Trump Is family to me. The whole time my boys and my husband were Trump supporters and I thought they were crazy. I was the one who was brainwashed, not them.
Thank you Trump and I’m so sorry for not believing you when you ran the first time in 2016, but you 1000% proved yourself. Thank you for saving my life.

I'm not personally a huge fan of Trump/Vance, watching from Australia. But I hope that their success means that the Democrats have to pull out an actual populist leader, instead of continually trying these establishment dummies. I'm also glad that Vance seems to debate like a normal politician, which would hopefully mean you lot will return to choosing candidates with a little more respect, like Vance... Fingers crossed though, since Trump's first win didn't send any shockwaves in the Democratic party, we'll have to see if JD will be challenged by a competant and genuine left-wing candidate, unlike Ms Harris who could only repeat the same 5 sentences every time she appeared and is more conservative than our centre right party in Australia. IDK if the next 4 years are gonna be a golden age for the US like you expect, from the outside Trump gives off the vibe of a Herbert Hoover more than he does an FDR. I think JD is gonna be challenged by a fierce and ambitious opponent akin to FDR (the metaphor makes even more sense considering WWIII is just around the corner, whether Trump says he can prevent it or not, its coming).

A big part of that is the flip to sucking off trump in hopes of a position in his admin and it worked, guy got made vp... They HATE Trump's guts in the military fr. Mostly, because of the blatant bullshit lies of him being tough on China and Russia... China vastly expanded their military bases in the south China sea under Trump in preparation for their imminent invasion of Taiwan, and under Trump we were actively fighting Russian troops that ATTACKED US in 2017/18 during the Syrian civil war, and again he did nothing about it except suck up to Putin even more... Also though because of the constant disrespect, and the fact that FBI and all the military generals and leadership who worked with him, some of whom he even appointed, have ALL said / come out with reports detailing how he is an actual credible threat to our national security...

Here is one thing I've learned in my 44 years on this earth:
Whenever I feel like I need a drink - I shouldn't drink that drink. It has never ever improved anything for me. At best it has done nothing for me - at worst it has worsened already bad situations.
If you are not an addict - like I am not - drink to be happy and social ONLY! There is no situation alcohol or drugs can fix... It might make you forget for a very short while, however what you temporarily forgot will always come back to you - and sometimes 10 times as hard - and sometimes with added problems!

I’m so sorry to hear about your cousin, most addicts are the most loving ppl, obviously, they do shady stuff during their addiction, but it’s the addiction that makes you do the shady stuff. I’d out my last dollar on a bet that your cousin has the biggest heart.

@hunterpatrick5210 Wow, you raised an excellent point! Trump closing the border made drug prices much higher! With Biden & Harris holding the door open wide to drug smugglers, more drugs are here, so the market is flooded and drugs are wsy cheaper. That makes it so much easier to use! Omg. Thanks for piecing that together. Let's vote out the Demo-RATS! TRUMP 🇺🇸

I love JD Vance. There’s a reason DJT picked him. JD is the type of guy you could walk up to and have a conversation with…and he’s so relatable and down-to-earth.

Trump made a great pick with Vance and Don Jr actually had a lot to do with him picking him.

JD Vance, Trump, and Kennedy have all been deeply impacted by addiction. They will make a profound difference as a team ❤

Long time listener and just wanted to drop a message.
Because of the conversations had on this podcast, I was able to spend the last few months of my mother’s life openly forgiving her and being there for her in the end times of her life that she lost to lung cancer.
Background: my mother had 4 children very young and has been an addict off and on her entire life. I moved out at 16 and lived the dark life for a couple years myself, but eventually became a critical care RN, and just recently a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Growing up, we lived in 15+ places growing up and in and out of the projects/family members basements or spare rooms, and also moved schools constantly.
Just wanted to let you know that your Pod has been a source of therapy for a normal guy from Middle TN who is too prideful to go to actual therapy.
    Thanks dude
