I'm a bit familiar with the housekeeper/waitress story at Mar-a-Lago, living not too far away, and therefore seeing the issue crop up from time to time in the local press. Trump's stated reason for hiring foreign (many Romanian) girls (officially as "au pairs"), is that they can come in seasonally and the busyness level there is very seasonal. But of course this is true for all of Florida's tourism, including the theme parks, etc., and the rest of Florida deals with it without Romanian au pairs. The REAL reason is that the local union for such service workers has many African-American women, who can sometimes be vocal about their rights. So, the Romanian au pairs are: 1) young, pretty and white. 2) will work hard for low wages because they are factoring in they are learning American English which will serve them in the future. 3) won't go on strike or even complain because they can be sent back to Romania at the drop of a hat., and 4) are more tolerant of minor sexual harassment peccadillos from rich, old, gropy, white men, because their own culture is still quite chauvinist.

Same... I am a parent and I get annoyed with loud kids on public transit, but that's about me, my day, my mood. I mean hell, JD told his son to 'shut the hell up' according to him when Trump called.
I literally made a sad emoji face when I heard his opinion about the “politics of not having kids.” I grew up surrounded by kids and have always had strong maternal instincts. I never doubted I wanted to be a mother. Until I was 20 and learned a lot about climate change. I started to wonder if it may be selfish to bring children to this world that may look 180 degrees different in 30 years when they become my age. After 7 years, my partner and I talked it through many times and we have agreed that we will try for children, and if we can be blessed with them, we will do our best to raise and protect them in this cruel world. His words are dismissal of all young and aspiring parents that are facing these tough choices, and to call women who have decided not to have children for these reasons “deranged” is just so sad and out of touch to me.
Nope, vice presidents don’t make any decisions that would reflect on any policy change. Trump on the other hand already had 4 years as President. Why can people say that 4 years wasn’t enough for Trump to complete his agenda as president, but Kamala is only permitted 4 years as VICE president?

This was just an example. The media frequently slams father figures and tells women that marriage and children are “patriarchal”
Vance got annoyed with his own son when he got called to be the vice presidential nominee and told his son to shut up.

@@opengrapefruit1534 Did you now? Well, let's just hope that you took a bit of knowledge with you.
@opengrapefruit1534 At least you're honest.
As far as I recall Walz has a record of way more proven lies than Vance... Tiananmen Square, his army record...
The wisest VP candidate I’ve seen in a longtime. Trump made a right choice. He cooked this NYTimes propagandist so well, it was beautiful. Btw, NYTimes claims they’re a neutral news outlet and yet they publicly endorsed Kamala Harris.
What was your favorite part? When he says he wouldn't have certified the 2020 election?
You really need to grasp what a Trump dictatorship would look like.
Which part of the fascism did you like the best?
If you like this side JD is showing, then you'll vote for Kamala/Walz in 2024. This will release him from the clutches of the Mango Mussolini.
U sick
"Artificial Fact Check" - Huh?
48:47- Trump didn’t ’lose’, the population got a corpse who likes the beach and a cackler that cracks open a cold one on tv whilst thousands suffer in a huge storm. 👍🏼Quite sickening really.
Trump did lose. Like you, he is a loser
creepy liar
Walz or Vance?
The liberal media is so deranged, they have moved the entire left into their deranged place as well. JD Vance is an amazing speaker and thinker. Imagine if we ever heard Walz or Harris be able to discuss subjects like this.
Dumbest comment.. have you ever heard Trump talk?
you are so lost bro
No
@defcon12when did I say Trump? Again, you can't have a thought without TDS kicking in. You are an example of what the media has done.
Why do you think Vance called Trump “Americas Hitler” and “reprehensible”? Surely he had good reasons to say those things at the time. What were those reasons?
Why give him air time
Because mainstream media can’t make money without spewing lies….you smart little simp you
JD thank you for immigration and jobs explanation. I say it and see it all the time.
Whoever is on the side of Trump loses my trust.👎
Great interview.
Real countries dont have mail-in voting so JD is totally correct.
What is your definition of a REAL country?
Multiple countries allow mail in voting, stop being a low informed voter.
@@aloidazaragoza5288 Here in Finland you have to vote in-person and you need to show ID.
Mail-in voting was orchestrated by the democrats since it's easier to rig
Banana Republics make it easy for enter false votes by any means possible and impossible.
The best time in my working life was as a Union Carpenter in NYC. I left that trade in 2010 because of the financial crisis of 2008 and the loss of jobs. I am voting for Harris but Vance is spot on with this point. American companies hiring and exploiting undocumented workers have had an extremely negative impact on the trades, especially in residential construction.
Yep and Trump his good old buddy is the one doing exactly that to workers.
@@ArtemisSilverBow oh absolutely. They are into the politics of resentment. That doesn't change the fact that America has screwed over the American worker from NAFTA to our anti-union policies. Honestly, I would be fine with absorbing ALL of those illegal immigrants, making them legal and have them pay taxes and join unions.
He looks like he just crapped his pants.😂
How insightful
proos to vance for doing this interview , walz is a coward

Mrs Navarro you do not speak for us
Correct, she speaks for human beings that deserve to live
🤮 It's important to integrate the knowledge that one of this guy's main philosophical political influences is Curtis Yarvin, aka Mencius Moldbug, who is a literal monarchist and, frankly, an execrable human being who has tried extremely hard to ruin his former fiance's life due to their relationship just not working out. Vance is extremely practiced at sounding like a reasonable human being, but please listen to what he is actually saying, and look up the people who he considers important.
And -- while this interview gets a laudable win at the end with the 2020 election results -- why do reporters in general keep failing to grill on the details of "pro family" positions?
"We want to give women more choices"... by restricting their choices and then... what, exactly? You're going to make it easier for people to take their kids on the plane by... doing what, exactly? Being "pro family" must mean you must be pro doing *something*, but for the life of me all i hear from Vance is anti-immigrant and anti-freedom.
Start a podcast and invite him on
Looks up the policy on the website. Parents travelling with kids get cheaper fares. Nice!
Seemed to me that Lulu was frustrated about his non answers and moved on. The whole kids on public transportation is how he is providing evidence that the US is anti children is, well weird/twisted/wrong.
What a terrible and biased interviewer. He still worked her ass too. She is slimy for sure.
Biased because she didn't let JD Vance dance the sidestep and swing around the wide step to avoid answering the questions he didn't like? Oh, the horrors!
If he would just answer simple questions with simple answers, then she wouldn't have to push him to answer and not let him get away with his non-answers.
Have you seen her 60Mins interview? That was not softball. Trump on the other hand couldn’t handle it.. can’t even handle Fox News debate moderators now. His interview with Lex Fridman was total softball interview. Trump negotiated with the Taliban, killed the border bill, sent Covid kits to Putin, caused inflation with his Covid failure, lost MI tons of manufacturing jobs.. etc etc.. That’s why he hides
A great interview of circular, defensive word salad by Vance. No matter how clear the questions are, word salad is always the best defense.
Maybe Vance is simply just waiting for the opportunity to take power from Trump if/when/after he is elected. Riding the campaign as a devout shill with his own nefarious strategy....? Nooooo....Only in the movies.
Yeah Kamala never does word salad 😂😂😂 his answers were precise. Presidential even. Kamala is an NPC. She is word salad.
@@AmpisbestDid op say she doesn't occasionally use word salad?
@@TheHouseAlwaysWins20 I said “she is word salad” as in the definition. She’s an NPC. JD Vance might be the most well spoken politicians I’ve ever heard. True top level debater.
He's a creep
This is journalistic malpractice, there was zero pushback or follow up on any of the absurd lies he said, just letting him control the narrative and move on. Your job as a journalist is not to plataform people is to hold them accountable
Soubds like you want a political hack and not an interviewer. Least he does interviews and what he says makes sense unlike kamala
She's only understans binary. Yes or No. 1 or 0.

I wonder if J. D. has considered that his own party has very anti-child and anti-family policies (much as they pay lip service to “family values”) that make raising children so difficult that some people just don’t want to go there.
What are specific anti-child policies?
I don't think "anti-child" means what you think it means. Especially since Kamala stole his position on the child tax credit.
@@vinista256 as opposed to Kamala and Tim offering babies to satan……God bless Trump…Let’s Go
You describing te Democratic party right here bro.. Stop gaslighting
@@KK-pm7ud Well, for starters, failure to support extension of the child tax credit, failure to support family and medical leave, and (until recently) failure to support expansion of Medicaid coverage from 2 months to 12 months for new moms. (In the post-Dobbs world, a number of Republicans at the state level are finally realizing that it looks pretty f-g hypocritical for them to be “pro-life” and oppose a measure aimed at reducing maternal mortality-better late than never, I suppose 🙄.)
Lulu he is creating. a strawman to defend his dumb comments.... Literally, no mainstream political philosophy is anti child! WTF???
I commend the moderator for not backing down on several of the important questions. But we see that again Vance escaped answering the 'did donald trump lose the 2020 election'? We see how slippery slick this man is. I think we can interpret every answer as coming from the same slippery intent to manipulate his answers to not reveal the real truth.
The car story seemed so made up.
