Best part of Jordan Peterson is when he got famous he ghosted all his patients. This is of course after he published that paper about how people can be manipulated politically if you tell them they are victims. Good thing he has discredited Victorian-era psychomysticism to peddle while he cries or plays the victim. Something we all know you fuckers love.
I would actually say that Sigmund Freud has the distinction of being the most famous, but as far as currently, Jordan is the most prominent.

Yes, I thought about this interview and wondered about it.
To some aspects, what I might expect, then some deep personal words from them both.
Peterson able to talk about legal battles ongoing, so unsure as to what one might expect in a situation like that, yet making it part of the discussion.
Think that should be reversed, speaking of Rogan. I can't find anyone funny these days especially Joe Rogan but he's smart. He's had to change up his podcast because The Shawn Ryan Show was nipping at Joe's heels in the #2 podcast spot. Joe was just having the same people & Comedians on over & over just to promote his club.
A small % of the population goes or has ever been to a Comedy club. The great days of Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor & a few others are gone thanks to our wacky society

Theo is much more an abstract thinker, able to make funny rants out of almost pure nonsense. And Jordan is extremely articulate and logical. It's like pure chaos and order 😮
Jordon is so very respectful of Theo. I love that because Theo has become a national treasure as a result of the podcast, and Jordon himself has reached MILLIONS OF LIVES as a result of the podcast. So it just seems natural for them, as this is the 2nd recording of them together. It just seems fitting. Two huge gentleman, being geniuses together on a podcast. The first time I saw these 2 together, I thought it was an odd pair, and was pleasantly surprised that they had good chemistry. I like that Theo makes him laugh so much.

I think this is part of JPs magic- he is just himself and sees people as just themselves - he doesn’t (imo) feel the need to try and dumb down his speech for anyone- there’s no preconception that a non intellectual won’t understand- it’s always a very personal interaction in which there are no wolves and no sheep to be seen.
Jordan laughing at Theo is the same as me laughing at a chimp who spins in circles until it throws up. Well, it would be if I was a self-important jackass from Canada.

It makes me so happy to see JBP laugh and even happier Theo is the cause.
There is just something about these 2 guys having a conversion that is so wholesome and good. On the surface at least they're from 2 totally different paths in life but they're ability to connect and reason with eachother is so amazing and pure.
If ppl run on honesty, anyone can connect with anyone.
If Peterson can tell Theo how to shamelessly wheedle some of that Koch-Thiel money the way he does, it might be a fruitful interchange.

Jordan’s ability to easily explain complicated topics to Theo shows his intelligence and Theos ability to not mention the “Mennals” he grew up with and stay on par with Jordan shows his intelligence.
Being able to adapt and speak to people on a level they can understand is a sign of high intelligence. For me it goes hand and hand with critical thinking and being able to understand others point of views regardless if you share them. Some people look like geniuses in one setting but simultaneously have no understanding or conscious thought for those around them
Ya, Theo's dumb southern redneck persona is mask. He's more intelligent than he shows us, but more and more examples are being revealed. The guy grew up in a multi racial family, speaking 2 languages, and comedians are often the quickest wit in every room. He might not have an extensive vocabulary, but he quickly grades new concepts when explained to him. Keep it up, this is a good pairing.
The funny thing will be when he tries to recount parts of this conversation to other comedians on different podcasts and totally (intentionally?) butcher the info 😂

I agree. He has an intelligence that is not proportional to his vocabulary, so he goes under the radar. But to those who have been listening to him it's clear he is smart. Without the troubled childhood and poverty he'd be regarded completely differently. But those things do define him so I like the deal we got.

Well I finally finished this episode and they make for a good pace of convo. Jordan can talk fast a lot and leave you in the weeds, but Theo’s intrigue helps break things down. Great duo.
I didn’t know much about Jordan Peterson before but wow! Really feel him on so many things; such an insightful, honest and intelligent guy. Theo interviewing him was wonderful! What a great rapport!
