The color turned out beautiful. I was bleached to a level 9-10, and put a level 7 on it that I'll be removing with a color remover. I suspect I will have orange hair following the removal. Will this cover the dreaded color remover orange, when my base should already be light enough, or should I bleach bath it afterwards before applying?

I did the same recipe except I used Ion Inspired by Nature Light & Medium Ash Blonde w/ same brand 20 vol. developer. At first I thought It was too gray toned, but I actually think I’m gonna like it once it dries! If U haven tried this Sally Brand, I highly recommend. They have really pretty Mushroom Blonde shades too & the smell is so nice!!! Better than any other color brands I’ve used & I’ve used a lot! UR hair looks really pretty! 😊

I have watched this video 10 times, LOVE the color results! I am a level 10 right now ( colored, not natural) and I would love to try this color combo next color job. My fear is it would be too dark, so maybe I use more 9A and a little less of 8A. The gals at Sallys suggested maybe starting with a 9N and 9A color combination just so the color has a bit more reflective color and to avoid a possible weird color result ( green or too grey) I dont know, I guess I have time. I do love this color and thanks for sharing! Oh, how long did you leave it on the roots before you pulled it through the mid-shaft and ends?

Love it!2 months ago I dyed my hair a medium ash blonde for the 1st time.Unfortunately I can't afford to spend 200$ every 2 months,so I plan on doing it at home.I have a lot of friends who started with the salon,then doing at home afterwards to save money.My hair is about 75% gray and it is easier having it blonde than medium brown like I always had it.

I am a bleach blonde just did my roots and the tint I use is t 14 I'm sick of tje color no roots yet as I did this a week ago I love the light and medium ash why do you not color the ends my hair is a level 9 all over I didn't notice that your ends werent colored what look does that give if you don't do the ends of the hair

Do NOT ever mix box dye with extra developer!!! It already has developer in it, it’s not recommended you use box dye at all tbh. Go to Sally’s and purchase the product and developer to mix yourself

Can you tell me how long you left it on the roots before you started putting the dye thru the rest of your hair? I know you said let process for a additional 30 min so did you leave on the roots 30 min then put they rest and set another 30 min?
May I ask if after dyeing your hair an ash blonde, does it still back to yellow hair color/fade after?
If you bleached your hair and then color over with a Demi permanent color, the color you put on will wash out typically after around 24 washes. Permanent hair color is much more difficult to remove so it will stay a lot longer.
They need to make a pale ash blonde and a corn silk dark blonde

How do you get rid of the ginger roots? I do like your hair colour but I do not like the ginger roots.
Purple shampoo to pre tone.
BLUE and GREEN, blue neutralize orange and green neutralizes red
I think she used too weak developer (20vol, 6%) for her hair depth, so it couldn't lift enough the roots.
I think at least 30vol (9%) or even better 40 (12%) would do the job. Or "high lift" dye. But in that case, it would not be recommended to go over the already processed length. Maybe diluted. Or for shorter time? I'm not an expert, just dying my hair. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Do extensions respond differently to this? Tried purple shampoo to cool down my tone and they are now stained purple
Don't apply the purple shampoo directly to the extensions. Pour some into a sink of water and then dip them in.

I mostly only use drugstore hair products for dry shampoo or hair spray. I prefer to use high end hair care to increase & maintain my hair health.😊
