I finally found a video that will help me the best with going platinum. You did an amazing job explaining everything thoroughly. I had to comment to let you know how appreciative I am. I’ve been searching for MONTHS for someone who explains it as well as you do. Thank you so much beautiful ❤️❤️
You did a beautiful job! Thanks for this perfect tutorial! Best one I have seen! 🤍🥰
This is such a perfect bleaching at home video. Very well done! Beautiful hair😍
Turned out Gorgeous, great job! 🆒
This is one of the best tutorials/product demos of wella toners I've seen. I'm always struggling to find product applications where the person has lightened their hair enough and achieved a good result. You did a phenomenal job, thanks for posting.
So happy to see you back! Do you do your own highlights? If so, I would love to see your process for that, even if you just explain and show products and tools used.
So cool! But toning does lighten when you use 20vol, 10vol is weak enough to deposit colour only, but 20vol can open the cuticles and lift 1-2 shades and also deposits.
I made that mistake trying to tone my own highlights with 20 vol. Ended up lifting my natural hair color into a bright strawberry blonde. Now I have to professionally fix it. Rip.
OMG thank you for explaining this! GREAT information!
I always used a 10V for this reason
Excellent job with the Video. I needed this ! Also keep up the great work!
SO glad you're back!
❤️
Your work is as beautiful as u ❤️
You have a wonderful voice and demeanor for tutorials. I highly recommend that you make more, because you are naturally talented at demonstrating. Also, you have beautiful hair.
Agreed I've done radio and TV and thought the same exact thing. 💯
Great video information... Well made!! And hair looks great too!!❣
Love that you’re back making videos! Your hair looks great!
Thank you!
You did a great job, your hair looks beautiful and healthy!!
Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing, although I didn’t leave the toner as long. But I do but I think you because now it might take forever to do my hair but I like the way it’s turning out. I had bought extensions and there is a Zala ice queen platinum I think this is my solution to matching them up perfectly. So thank you so much! And by the way your voice is very soothing as well.
U did awesome! I give u so much credit for doing this on your own. My only thing is everytime I go to the salon and ask for things I get a bunch of questions and I hate it.
Loved this! Turned out really nice.
Thank you! 💗
your hair result looks super healthy!
If I go to the friseur, they looks on the first day good too xp but later..
U r so brave! My hair is your old color now...(I usually go to salon once a month) I am so afraid to do this!!!! Yours looks 😉!
I definitely should have watched this before I let my friend go in on my hair! So cute!!
Your hair surged out great, Steph!
Looks great!
Wow your hair looks great at the end!!!
Thank you so much!
It looks great, love it.
Thank you! ❤️
I know I’m late to this video but YAYYYYY YOUR BACK!!!!!!! Amazing hair!!!
Thank you so much! I’m happy to be back!
this was very helpful!
Wow you did such a fantastic job with this tutorial and the result of your hair . You explained it simply and didn't go too fast, you were great, and I will subscribe to you r
Channel
Love this i appreciate you so much thank you
Aww thank you so much!
You should be a cosmetologist. You do better than 90% of people I've gone to. Your hair's gorgeous 😍
Wow thank you! It’s definitely NOT perfect, but I enjoy experimenting and saving money. I would NEVER do this to someone else’s hair. 😂
Well done! My current color is a level 7 with an inch and 1/2 of grow out so my goal is to get to a level 10-11 with 2x bleaching process before I color it to the icy platinum that I ultimately desire. Wish me luck!
I do my own hair white at home and I also love the Ion cream bleach more than any other. It's SO good! I also feel like it simultaneously lightens more levels and is gentler than any powder bleach I've tried. It was interesting seeing how your method differs from mine! I go 1 bleach w/ 20 vol --> let rest a day --> 2nd bleach w/20 vol --> "tone" with purple dye mixed w/conditioner.
@TheSim!derful what kind of purple dye do you use to "tone"?
Perfect!!!👍👍👍❤️
So pretty!!!
Thank you so much!
love!
❤️
I'm so glad I found this video and that you listed what you used. This is the exact color I want my hair to be! I'm sooo doing this... 😁
Be careful! Good luck!
Came out perfect! You are a rockstar!
How did you not extremely damage your hair using 40 developer? I used 20 volume developer and bleached it twice and fried my hair for almost a month! I used bright white products and wella t18 toner. Your hair looks so beautiful and healthy!
Blonde me and 20 vol would have done a fantastic job in one go. It goes really pale and keeps good condition.
Thank you!!!
Can you show what other product you may have use to make your hair silky and healthy ?
Is all the pre-lightening done on the same day or did you have to wait some time in between?
Great job! Ur hair looks beautiful...u went in with a 40 vol? Girl that’s so dangerous! Being blonde is so high maintenance 😫
Thank you! Blonde is a lot of maintenance. I’m a thrill chaser. 😉
@@MadisonKate im using alfaparf 9 level Bleach + 6% oxy. And i add any plex to protect hair. Later only toner (usually matrix spm, or 10m). I dont put Bleach twice, the root shouldnt be longer than 1-2 cm, so it will lighten fast and even.
@@MadisonKate 1
Love this I’m in the process of doing my own hair as well
Thank you so much. I followed you technique and i get a very nice platinum blond. Wow merci.
Wow! This is amazing! Thank you.
Beautiful
So beautiful!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Christian Beynon ❤️❤️❤️
Agreed!
cool video...but this 1st toner actually lifts your hair ...you used 20 volume developer... if you don't want lift you would use 10 volume for deposit only.
You have beautiful hair.
Your voice is so calming and adorable. Smile is beautiful
Thanks!!
Very pretty!! I see a huge of GREEN! Is it the "blue additive?"
Girllllllll I've been looking forever for a video exactly like this seriously amazing 👏
Thank you so much!
id recommend using the ion sensitive scalp developer with this creme lightener. it is always better to stick to brand for on scalp application- you also want to move fast, and make a wetter mix next time this creme is a 1:1.5-2 ratio. you used too little peroxide
Exactly what I want!!! But never seem to achieve!
I did step 1, then step 2, then 3 and back to 2...am I able to just do step 4 now or would i need to apply bleach again before step 4
Gorgeous result! I LOVE the ion booster line! WAY better than olaplex! My hair was severely
Breaking to the point I lost most of my crown to bleach damage and olaplex didn’t help AT ALL (including olaplex 1 and 2) and it has only stopped breaking and actually looks and feels healthier with the ion booster step 1 and 2 (have done 4 standalone treatments so far)
I LOVE the Ion Booster Line too!!
I'm trying to do my daughters hair...she's such a brat and never let's me help by if I show her your video...she'll definitely let me help. SO THANKS SO MUCH!!! And great job you definitely have great knowledge on dying you're hair!!!!
I bought a 20 developer cuz I was so scared! But I love this look you did an amazing job on it!! 😍
I've done it with 20%.
The best
beautiful
What did you use on your bleached hair to keep it looking silky and not fried!!! Love it
What shampoo and conditioner do you use?
Great video!
Thank you!
toner should always be applied on damp hair to ensure the color is even. also the ion second step treatment is to be applied BEFORE shampooing. this is to replace olaplex.
Idk I have used toners where the directions say to apply to dry hair. Merp
I’ve been doing my hair at home for 30 plus years and I’d be terrified to go for it like you did! I have reached an ash base /platinum highlights finally. This is so beautiful on you and I lobe the blunt cut as well~! Great job1
Thank you so much! DIY Blonding is intimidating, but I have progressively been experimenting more and more at home to build up to this point. 😘
Your hair looks amazing! I wish I trusted myself to do my own. Do you use any restorative treatments or toning shampoos? I'd love to see a video on your hair care regiment or hair care favs!
THANK YOU! Yes, I use a great treatment during the 2nd toning process of this video that I SWEAR by! Would you be interested in a Best-Blonde-Maintenance type of video to share my favorite products for in between treatments?
@@MadisonKate YES YES YES! I am a blonde myself and always looking on ways to brighten my head of hair!
Красиво получилось спасибо
You have such beautiful healthy hair. How do you keep it so healthy?
Preciso desses produtos aqui no Brasil. Ficou lindo.
Né mano essas cores Americanas lá do eua são mto lindasssss
Toner DOES indeed lift color when using peroxide such as 10Vol or 20Vol.
So beautiful😍
Thank you!!
this looks amazing!
Thank you! ❤️
but what is the white cream that u used !
Bleaching with a 30 vol is better less damage and u can get a better results
after this drastic procedure will be each combing mean a lot of broken hair lengths
Can you do a chocolate brown as well
Good job Maddie
Thank you, Zoe!
If you would have used the correct ratio 1:2 then you would have lifted in 1 bleach setting. Your natural hair shade is not that dark, so no need to lift twice. Plus that's more damaging on the hair. I also noticed you had alot of over lapping which is also damaging.
And wheir is the product box below pls i cant find it 😂thank you
I’m in love with your hair can you please tell me the style of the haircut ?
I recommend taking photos you like to your stylist. 😊 I always take photos from Instagram & Pinterest and I request a dry cut.
How long you don’t have times for any steps
It looks really good!
But for the blonde people in the comments I recommend not using 40 developer depending on the shade of blonde you are I would use a 30 or 20 developer.
If you have really dark hair you can use 40 but don’t use it multiple times that will really fry your hair
Thank you for adding some insight!
what’s the background music called?
Try Fanola no orange.
It really works.
❤Where can i buy this product's in South Africa West Cape,is their any body whoe perhaps can help me please?😢😢❤
noticed you did not use the end results of the back underneath of your hair but while brush your side of the head hair with your fingers some of the back was noticed and just a little and it was still the dark organe gold?
Hi Sandra, that is correct! It’s very difficult to reach the back of your own head, especially while filming a UA-cam video. If you choose to dye your own hair at home, I recommend finding someone to help you get the back. 😊
I did it everything you did to your hair, mine did not turn out at all mine turned out dark like More like a medium blonde or light brown
that's where I messed up with my toner I left it for 40 minutes and it didn't come out fully 😫 so know I'm stick like that
Very nice
What color Demi-permanent did you use? My hair is orange and I need help!!
OH NO! Girl, I’ve been there! The products used in this video are listed in the description box.
Wella toners are actually permanent colors and they do lift especially with 20 vol.
Nice video!
A little tip: next time try to double the product that you used. My hair is darker than yours and I got the same yellow color that you got at the begining. If you double the bleach (and developer) i think you wouldnt even need a 2nd bleach round (:
Thank you for the tip and thanks for watching!
Also you can bleach again after toning in the same day?? Thank you so much
It’s not recommended by cosmetologists…
@@MadisonKate lol I know that's why I'm doing it at home ( emergency case only )I have the olaplex line 🤣 did it bleach bath style turned out great, I LOVE your videos thanks for your help!
did you do all this in the same day? like bleaching it 2 times in one day?
Good question I’m wondering the same
Top bravo super 👏👏🇩🇿
Traduzcan al español por favor, no conozco esas marcas.
I would never go through all this to get my hair white… what a nightmare, after 2 weeks the roots show again and you need to do it again :/
I finally found the way to do it and it’s much simpler. Bleaching with Garnier Olia bleach, then applying Bleach London White Toner + Bleach London White Heat cream and my hair is icy blonde. That’s simple but still time consuming process, yet not as complicated as shown in this video.
I can’t believe I put myself through this either. It is SOOOO time consuming!
I am surprised that your hair did not get to pale yellow even though you used 40 volume. I'd recommend a different bleach brand which would lighten more with even a lower developer.
Tanks chokrran
So how do you make the second round of bleach thinner that was my struggle
More developer
If you want to lighten your hair better, you need to apply a lot of powder
Suppeerrr
I don’t think you should be telling other people to “bleach and tone several times” if they have stubborn hair. Most people don’t know how to color their own hair properly and to me it just sounds reckless to say that.
You're right you're better off going to a salon your hair could fall out this damages your hair
The 40 vol on scalp got me, then to do it more than once! Someone’s going to get chemical burns watching this
Then do basic research after watching the video just as you should after any tutorial? Like tf. It really doesn’t have to be that hard.
You know what as much as I hate to say it they need to put a disclaimer from now on for all these dumbasses who would blame these tutorials for choosing to do their own hair and it goes wrong. I say this because then Sally's is going to end up taking shit off their store like bleach or products they think only professional licensed cosmetologist know how to use and ruin it for the rest of us
@@rawrrahrawr glad I know better 😳
Can someone write down the exact names of the developer and bleach I didn’t see it well enough?
Girl it’s under the video in the description
your application makes me nervous 😖
but the color came out very well 👍🏼
LOL it makes everyone nervous... but I love doing my own hair!
