Amongst soooo many other total gems in this compilation there's a 'Back to the Future now in select cinemas' tv spot. This is the best commercial compilation I've seen yet by far. (29/Dec/2022-4:04am🇦🇺EST)
32. Campbell's- If it wasn't for the title at the beginning the thought bubbles on the characters and the "Campbell's " name at the end, I would have thought this commercial was a scene from a musical in a school setting.
That Dodge Lancer commercial...If Stephen King has taught me anything, cars driving on their own for a "boy's night out" always ends in bloody carnage.
That Campell's commercial turned into a music video, 12:24 too bad parenting today isn't like that commercial of the parent punishing his kid for being bad at school by keeping him from going to the big game.
1985, Dave Roth was rumored to have quit Van Halen, back to the future, 501 Levi's ruled.. and Kramer built my guitar - Kramer pacer, 22 steel frets, Floyd Rose locking trem, Seymour Duncan pickup, 1958 Les Paul pickup in the neck position, serial number #0178.❤️
Dodge Lancer-KITT would later challenge it to a drag race 5th Annual New Years Eve Rock & Roll Ball- good lineup of performers Software Unlimited-before there was GameStop Suburban Army-Navy-sounds like the name of a punk rock band Discipline At Home PSA-guess he'll be missing out on the fun MTV Promo-last two were Simon LeBon and John Taylor of Duran Duran The Young Ones-loved the University Challenge episode..R.I.P Rik Mayall Campbell's-join us next time for more Fun Times At Campbell's High..and remember,Live Right
I have both the three volumes of TV's Greatest Hits released in 1986 and the four volumes released in 1996. How they had the gall to not include Gunsmoke in the first edition is beyond me, and why they included both Lost in Space themes but only the lesser first Mary Tyler Moore theme is also strange (I mean come on, "Who can turn the world on with her smile?" is a gem!). Each volume has 65 songs, so it really is a great listen if you're into TV themes.
If that ad for Campbell's didn't identify itself at the beginning I would have thought it was a public service announcement on any network in the 80s! Whoa. But I wonder how many computer users rented the software at 11:35.
That Campbell’s commercial has to be the longest and most epic soup ad I have ever seen… so totally 80s!
the lead singer looked kind of unenthusiastic in the close-ups..
That Television's Greatest Hits commercial inspired me to make a playlist of my favorite 80s and 90s show themes after I'm done watching this.
17:35 - Never knew Campbell's did PSAs about healthy living, but damn, when they do, they go all out!
Thank you, Campbell's, for the Kids Incorporated flashbacks.
I wish any of my schools' cafeterias had a salad bar...

The MTV commercials are the best uploads.
Gotta love those local ad inserts. Great set.
MTV commercials! My favorite! Thank you!

It cracks me up the hair styles and the tight dresses that women wore I miss being a kid in the 80s
5:55 - I bet Dr. J always watches TV in his jersey...

Hell yeah! I love The Young Ones, the "Bambi" episode is my favourite. "Vegetable rights and peace!"✌
Yeah canned soup!!!!
what did the young leaf raker do wrong at school he couldn't go to the big game
12:32 had something to do with the way he acted in school
The specifics ultimately aren't important, because the ad is a work of *fiction*
Please tell me there’s a studio quality recording of that Campbell’s Soup ad online somewhere. If anything needs the 4K upscale treatment, it’s that.
I was not expecting that from a soup ad.

I own most of Television's Greatest Hits on CD. The Ad is kind of misleading since some of the songs are not the originals that aired on tv.
