- Forza finally added endurance races! So, I had to hop in and give 'em a try. I'm happy to report that the new races really buttered my biscuits.

It's wild that your best lap is over 10 seconds slower than the rest of the lobby, but still landed second place. Consistency is key for these races. Good stuff dog!
Some of my dirty laps were faster. Just need to learn to keep it on the track lol.

Had a absolute blast on the le mans races in this patch, even though it's still forza so the lobbies are suicidal, it really makes the game shine with the pit stop strategies and stuff. It really made me want to find some leagues to join because when you have a longer race with someone who takes racing like anything other than burnout, it's insanely fun.

I tried the 1st of the endurance races at sebring in my bmw, in a 20 lap race, managed to make the mediums last about 12 laps before i needed to pit.

Nice driving! I usually go for 3 stints of medium, not 4, as the lost time on the fifth lap of the tires is smaller than a pit stop. Also, that cadillac is so extremelly quick, like unfair quick in the straight, and so stable on the curbs and grass. What setup are you using?

I cant begin to describe the anger that would happen after being focused in for over an hour on an endurance race, just to skid out on the final stretch and completely toss the entire race😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
I dived into 'em on Forza 4. They were doing 2.4 hour races and I raged my fair share of times haha
@@OldTiresif im not mistaken if was 4(or maybe 3🤔) that if you went to long without using the rewind feature it would glitch out and not work
So many times id forget to hit Y after like 5-15 minutes just to suffer the same fate😭

I always go hard at the start for endurance. You most likely just gonna get stuck behind traffic for a large part of the start so not gonna be able to utilize mediums fully. And going 3x mediums never works for me, I need one set of hard. And 2 pitstops are the way to go for me.

HES BACK! =D At the last right turn for the long straight u can extend pretty far out to the left without breaking track limits, you can have the white line pretty much in the middle of your car on the turnin phase, put on tracklimit markers and check it out!
And wth is going on with the laptimes? everyone shows up as best time between 2.01 to 2.05 while urs show up as 2.15?
That was somehow my only clean lap haha I need to hit rivals mode and practice up.

The Le Mans endurance is pretty fun. The problem is if you are to fast you will be alone for the majority of the race and the grid pretty much gets reduced to 10 or less at the end of the race even when you started with a full 24 lobby
I've been noticing that 🤣 my lobbies have been ending with 4-7 players.
@@OldTires sadly it is like this but we can do nothing about it, what a shame. Except doing it with the community and join such a race as a group of people

That was my only clean lap. AKA I'm trash and need to stay on the track.
You know, I checked on Forza Motorsport for Sebring back at the end of April, and it wasn't there. The first time I've ever tried Sebring out was at the GT4 event, in real life, with my 2021 Honda Civic Sports Hatchback.
That's awesome dude! Would love to lap Sebring IRL at some point. Bucket list for sure.
@OldTires It was awesome, but the only downside is I had to drive with my mom, who has scoliosis and is too oberprotective of me. So, as she likes to say, I was the driver, and she was the cryer. Before I forget, it was a parade lap at 60 to 70 miles an hour. Which, yeah, was pretty awesome. On my first parade lap, I was shaky because I didn't know the track. Keep in mind that I had a stroke which disabled my right side. So that means my right hand is not allowed on the wheel unless you want a death sentence. So that means my left hand was frantic all over the wheel to press the upshifter and down shifter. On the second day when I got on the track for my second parade lap, before turn one, I remembered,"Oh yeah, my car has an auto up-shift, so my engine does not explode." Unlike it will. And I did just fine on my 2nd day. My mom, not so much.
this was indeed one of the races of all time

They should’ve put the space between the series drops shorter. Having to wait a week for the retro endurance, then another for classic endurance is ridiculous.
Yeah it is a long wait for sure. Plenty of time to get used to the cars I guess 😉
There’s literally two races and another week wait for the next one. They’re not really endurance either. Could be longer. It would be nice to get some special rewards for completion. Good start but not there yet
