    I hadn't changed the spark plug ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx-6W-PtUzBRTmACHywsECak2ToY2OpjxN in my Toro 20" Recycler in the 6 years I've had it but have been good with all other maintenance. This season I noticed it sputtering a little bit every so often and just didn't feel like it was running as smoothly or as powerful as it used to. Switched out the spark plug for a new one yesterday and could immediately tell an improved difference. So I may have to make this a little more regular than every 6 years, especially for a $5 part!

    Thanks! Bought a replacement ignition coil for my Echo blower but part came with out the spark plug adapter. I didn’t want to just splice it so because of your video, I now know it’s twist and pull! Thank you VERY MUCH

    Thanks a lot! I'm in the process of restoring an old honda cub and I've never worked on motorcycles before. I pulled out the spark plug cap and wanted to change it, then saw this stupid wood screw inside🤣 luckily I found your video and now the cap is back without any issues.

    Random question, what are your thoughts on the TNT clear spark boots?
    And do the ngk spark boots, do the plugs need the but end to fit into those? My ngk plug shows it on the box, but the plug didn’t come with it. Lol. So I had to buy one separate.
    Thanks, also Matt.

    I just bought NGK spark plug wires for a 2021 Benelli tnt 135 and tried pulling the stock wire out of the solenoid but it seems that it is all one piece. Do you know if that is the case with this bike. Do I just really force it out or will I have to use a splicer? There are not alot of videos for this bike out there. Thanks.

    Hi Mat.
    I have a Chinese gy6 150 2014 Velocity scooter that I got from a friend two weeks ago. I have a problem with the lights (head and tail) only going on when I use the breaks, horn, blinker, hazards and, when I start up the engine for 10 seconds or so. Do you know the cause of this problem and, what I could do to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Sunny

    so I have a spark plug wire on my cub cadet lawn tractor, and it’s clear that the cable is just too short so when you pull the boot off, it feels like you’re really stressing the cable and probably causing a connection issue. I’m gonna look at it, but do you know if lawn tractors can be adjusted this way? Maybe I could buy a longer coil cable… even though I replaced the magneto/coil/boot, I still I have starting/stalling issues - they design them so dang short that they get a short inside super fast…

    Well, I was really hoping to find out how to keep the cap from coming loose. My Adly wire flexes with each movement of the rear suspension and causes the cap to eventually fall off. I've tried stabilizing it with a few loose zip ties along its length and also gluing in place with silicone, and yes, I've trimmed the wire end. It only has 7,100 kilometers but was ridden 2 up often and I'm sure it flexed a lot. I've been thinking of a crimp on end, even if it's 50's style with no boot, as the sudden repair is getting old and soon I'll have a short wire.

    I know this is an old video, but I have a couple of questions. I recently was changing my spark plug and this small thingamagig fell out. I researched it and discovered that it was some sort of resistor. when I tried to put it back into the boot, it kept falling out when I tried to put the boot on the plug. is it suppose to be attached somehow in the boot? when I look inside, I just see a small spring. plus, is the boot suppose to pliable instead of hard? Thanks, if you ever respond.

    Can someone help me? My Yamaha Vino YJ125 spark plug has brass thing in spark plug boot. Does not appear like automotive style clip. You push onto the spark plug threads, click, click, click, like spring loaded but keeps falling off spark plug. Inside the boot, it looks like someone has been doing a bad welding job on the brass. I don't know what to do here.

    Why do these 50cc Chinese mopeds have problems starting? I've got to keep pulling the spark plug and prime it to get it to run. I've changed the petcock. Then I put a manual petcock on it. I also put a new carb and choke on it. It just won't pump fuel on its own until it's running. Can an electric fuel pump be used on a taotao thunder 50?

    • @bladerunner198306
      @bladerunner198306 4 роки тому

      you need a fuel check valve.. keeps the fuel from running back in the tank. its on the ruckus stock I believe, but some things on chinese units keep the costs low, and you can upgrade the things most important to you. Like.. that check valve wouldnt be important if you were say, a person that rode that exclusively and delivered food, stop after stop. The fuel wouldnt have time to run back so far. so cost savings.

    • @hemihead6645
      @hemihead6645 4 роки тому

      @@bladerunner198306
      I'm not sure what you mean. The ruckus fuel tank is down low and the fuel needs to be pumped up. On a taotao the gas tank is high on the back and gravity fed down.
