According to John Carpenter...the thing game that came out in 2002 is considered a continuation. The game has a captain in the Arctic Marines named Blake investigate the destroyed American and Norwegian outpost. The remains of Childs can be found...indicating he didn't die...but did share a drink with macready. At the end of the game we learn macready did survive. (Another fun fact...John Carpenter is in the game himself as a Scientist in the secret underground lab)
That is so dope, I really need to check this game out for sure. Im assuming I cant get it on my xbox though since it came out in 2002, is it a PC game?
@gunznmovies ...how fortunate for you the remaster of this game just recently came out last frickin week. So no...I'm not "Fuckin kidding ya" when I say, have fun! There's also lots of fun guns and gear to check out. Beretta 92. Mp5. Benelli auto shotty and a uh...funky looking flame thrower
This is some good content. As a film student I have to watch tons of films and a person who likes guuns somewhat, and I've grown the habit of trying to figure out what gun is on screen and why. I hope this channel grows. Its really good stuff, keep doing what you're doing.
That is really awesome to hear man, I appreciate that! Im definitely going to have to go over some of the movies they had me watch in my film classes. Training day (2001) was one of them so I think that would be fun to cover. I hope the channel can keep growing too and I hope you continue to enjoy the content. Let me know of any movies you would like to see covered on the channel!
Fun quirk about the Ithaca 37 is that like several early pump actions it’s fully capable of slam firing. Meaning you can hold the trigger and just slam the action to empty the tube in seconds. The bottom ejection and loading also means it’s fired right or left handed without issue and is less likely to send shells flying at your buddies face in tight quarters. They kicked around in US inventories for a long time since it had every feature you might want in a pump action and the new stuff isn’t necessarily even an upgrade. Like the 870 is cool but it was designed by nerds in a lab, the m37 was invented by drunk hillbillies so you know it’s good.
Should have also mentioned the Ithaca 37's unique "slam-fire" feature. I've got a police riot version and took it to the range where I slam-fired it. Shoulder hurt for a couple of days after that, but damn I felt like such a badass.
That is the coolest, next vid that comes up in Im def going to mention that, thank you for the feedback! Hopefully that shoulder recovered ok but Im sure that was totally worth it lol!
Would definitely be cool to see you cover the film known as “End of Days” (1999). This film prominently also features several models of the Glock pistols, including one of the earliest appearances in a film of the Glock 34. And funny enough as an Half-Life series fan, The Heckler & Koch MP5 with M203 Launcher attachment makes an appearance in End of Days (1999) used by Jericho Cane. Would love to see you cover the underrated horror film of all time. Also, enjoy your new subscriber from me :)
I will definitely add it to the list, I have not seen that one before but it looks really cool. I took a glance at some of the guns and they look awesome, especially that Glock 34, so that will be a fun one too cover. Thank you for the recommendation and subscribing, I hope you continue to enjoy the content!
@@gunznmoviesNo problem!, if you want to watch these films, I know a free film sites that I’ll recommending ya for now, can watch films for free without ads.
Being that the film was written in the late 70s/early 80s, and the M2 (it's variants, and the M9 successor) was retired from combat purpose (despite assertions the UN never formally banned the Flamethrower, only that incendiary weapons cannot be used against forests unless they are concealing combatants or be used against civilians, flamethrowers actually fell out of favor for being too dangerous and being superseded by more practical weapons like the M202 Flash) and was given some life as a tool for controlled burning. Allegedly the flamethrowers also used in Washington DC by the US Army to clear large amounts of snow before JFK's inauguration (though this was before they were retired, and there's only one source written 15 years after The Thing released) - it's entirely possible that the controlled burning, DC Inauguration snow melting (if it was indeed a rumor floating around before the movie was written), and the use of Propane torches to melt snow (also pretty inefficient) influenced the decision to include the Flamethrower; despite it's impractically in reality for snow melting. The "melting ice and snow with a flamethrower" concept also inspired the Hydrazine Torch Flamethrower in Dead Space. Secondly the presence of Dynamite is a bit weird considering that Dynamite has generally been retired for more stable explosive compounds (sweating, which would be exacerbated by sitting in an Antarctic storage hold for years; Dynamite generally only lasts a year even under good storage conditions) such as Gelignite (which whilst it does sweat, is far more stable and storing it in a cold place like Antarctica means it could last for decades), and can still be in sticks) or ANFO (the most likely explosive they would have, though it is a powder and useless for sticks)
It should read in the subtitles, Nobody knows how to speak SWEDISH", since these Swedes came from their base and nobody in Europe speaks English. Blair was the first human to realize the danger of The Thing. Except for the Swedes of course.
It’s a crime this channel doesn’t have more views
Haha I wish UA-cam was a little more friendly about gun content like this. Appreciate the support.
The Game version of this Continues were the Movie Left off and it's been Remastered recently, everyone should check it out.
Is it like a resident evil game like survival horror
This channel is a blessing

W video mane 💯💯💯
The HK 33 was never adopted by the german military. They used the 7,62 mm G3 until the 1990s when they adopted the H&K G36.
That's my mistake, definitely going to try to be super detailed in the next video. Thanks for the feedback, highly appreciated!
Do you plan on doing Heat (1995)
Working on it as we speak!

100 percent can do those, was already thinking about doing the John Wick series, lots to cover there. Thanks for the recommendations!

Your background music sounds like Rundgang um die transzendentale Säule. Must have been someone from the Norwegian station.
hahah who knows maybe it was

What happened to the Heat video buddy
Making an important tweak to it my friend 👍
can you do City of God (2002)?
That movie is wild, but absolutely!
@gunznmovies I appreciate it man!
