Except resident evil 2 remake with the infinite rocket launcher the zombies are the ones who can feel the relief of the when they hear the save room song
Ahhhh! That wonderful feeling of relief when you finally reach the much sought after save room.......Only to realise you have to go back out again to face more deadly monsters
Thank you for bringing us this musical feast. It's enjoyable. And here are my feels toward these themes: 2:15 RE0 Save Theme Sorrows as there are, we have to keep moving. 3:30 RE1 Save Theme It's such a soothing piece of music that makes us feel saved. 11:58 RE2 Save Theme This seeks to console us in the face of tragedy and terror, urging us to come to terms with such realities. However, fear, worry, anxiety, and helplessness linger. 18:40 RE3 Save Theme In the infected city, malevolent spirits seem to invade, causing it to crumble into ruins. The haunting intrusion leaves the city's souls in tears. Amidst the debris, survivors grapple with profound loneliness. The question remains: where shall we go?" 28:01 RE CV Save Theme Every time I hear this music, it seems to start warmly but gradually takes on a consoling tone, akin to comforting us in a moment of somewhat despair. It's as if someone, perhaps only in the virtual realm of the game, has departed. As they are no longer here, the sorrow prompts our desire to convey, "Rest in peace."
28:01 First RE Game I played and beat that my cousin let me borrow. He let me keep it as a reward of sorts for beating it. Hearing this theme really gave me relief after running through monster-infested landscape.
I played RESIDENT EVIL 4 Orignal On My PS4 which was my first RE game and it's save theme was really calming and Later I bought RE 2 On PS4 later switched on RE 4 R on PS5 nd RE 8 and imo they have literally really calming and aesthetic save theme 😊
Holy. For some reason, the Separate Ways merchant theme makes me a little emotional. Especially after that ending where Leon is the one who cuts ties with Ada because he knows she is up to something shady again, only for her to have a change of heart at the last minute, but now all she can do is look out the window while Leon goes his own way. Ooof
RE2 and RE3 themes are the definition of the series for me. They tell everything. They are story itself. Rest is just calm ambients... still a bunch of great ambients!
I really like how tense Resident Evil 3 Nemesis save room music is. It gives you the vibe of safety, but also of approaching danger. it is different from others in that aspect. I also love that guitar in RE remake, and RE4 is amazing. But my absolute favorite is OG RE2.
I was ready to start working and I was going to use the previous compilation (0 to 7) and I noticed you uploaded a new version with more games. Thanks!! Awesome mix

Resident Evil's save room themes are literally saying to the players that you're safe right now, but sooner or later, you'll have to go back out there.
Man I swear this game literally has some of the best relaxing nostalgic soundscape themes my favorite has to be (results) R.E 5 & Desperate escape end theme you just can't beat those with the only exception of serenity.
I think that for RE 1.5 the author chose a random theme, since it instills more tension than calm. In addition, I did not find information in any source about whether music was written for this game or not, because according to various estimates, the game was only 60-80% ready. But these are just my thoughts, and the theme is still beautiful, like all the music in the RE series
Music was composed for 1.5. The Birkin boss themes are actually carried over from 1.5 into 2. The first half of the marshalling yard theme was the original RPD theme.
you'd think so but no, that theme is called the save room theme because it plays in the Umbrella lab save room where Ada and Leon talk while Marvin is lying on the bed... to me personally it feels more like a beta Ada theme, there's a lot of leit motif's to her theme in there. But as the person said before me, a lot of the music we got in retail RE2 was intended for 1.5... the Birkin 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th themes were for 1.5 which were moved over. The whole of the Marshalling Ground themes were used, first half being the police station theme and an unfinished second half was for the factory. I recommend listening to the RE2 final OST and having a listen at all the themes, the ones done by Ueda and Uchiyama have a 1.5 feel to them. Especially the bus theme, cutscene music with Claire and Sherry talking (Claire B one outside the cable car), that one heavy dark theme that plays when you get through the sewers and head to the cable car... also also, the Hunk's themes were the original 1.5 escape the lab themes, one for when the lab is on fire and when it's not. Personally after years of research and playing the games over and over I feel like 90% of the music we hear in retail RE2 was intended for 1.5 with the 10% being the save room, final lab theme, escape the lab and the RPS 1st/2nd floor themes being made for RE2 retail
