RE-4 gives me extreme nostalgia, I played this game when I was younger, and I honestly miss this game a lot. Hearing the save theme again is like heaven to me. If heaven was filled with nostalgic memories and your childhood.

Having compiled every theme thus far with visuals like that lovely horizon for RE5's and the underwater setting for Revelations. The woods for RE7 is a great choice too. They match the audio well.
Very well said. By far the best theme of the bunch. It’s magical in the sense that you can hear the struggle, but at the same time, it’s so calming and relaxing. There’s a version with rain and thunder sfx that I definitely recommend.
wILL I say it’s the best because of the face that it doesn’t follow any sense of rhythm, yet still gets the job done and creates amazing ambiance. But yeah, that is just opinion. I also love the Umbrella Chronicles theme and the Dead Aim theme.
CV gives off the feeling there is nothing to worry about, whereas the others gives off the feeling of, "okay you're safe for now", but yes I can understand why people think CV save room theme is the best one!
RE Remake still gets me to this day, it's so creepy and yet so calm. I still remember playing the original and being scared of walking around those tiny halls, specially when the dogs get in. Such a great game for its time.
By far the best are Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 they are bone chilling and leave you feeling vulnerable, and tense like your actually in the fight for survival but at the same time they give you a sense of calmness and relief those themes sound and go hard as fuck beautiful music!
I agree in part, but really I find the themes sinister. Only they did not finish to leave the player more relieved, which in theory is the function of a room of rescue.

AND THE FACT that you are in an ENTIRE DOOMED city... Not in some isolated place like the others. It's not something that the other games have.

I can’t change the mind of someone I agree with. Even the RE2 theme can’t compete with this imo. I never played this until 5 days ago when I completed it in 10h. Even before playing REmake whenever this was played I always thought: Resident Evil.

They're the best ones. I love all the others but they're too samey, with CV being the best, and they all kind of blend together. RE2 and 3 sound different, they have their own identity amongst all of the ascending note patterns and arpeggios found in all the others
The Remake "Safe Heaven" is by far my favorite. Its so relaxing and really does contrast all the horrendous crap you face in the mansion. followed closely by the Code veronica save music
This really makes me sad. Especially hearing part 4. I remember playing it in October and November in 2012. I was in 4th grade and my dad got it for me on my ps2. I can’t believe it’s been almost 6 years. I was so happy to play it and so grateful my dad got it for me. I was probably too young to play it but who cares? It’s fun and now I have good memories of it. I replayed it again this year and have almost finished the whole game. Great times. The best year of my life so far. Thank you so much for uploading this.

I like RE 7’s the most. It gives off a mix of “finally, I’m safe” and “But there is worse to come after this.” It also matches the setting pretty well!
The Code Veronica save theme is my favorite. Actually the whole soundtrack while probably not the most popular , in my opinion its the best soundtrack in the series. Especially the final battle theme with Alexia. Phenomenal

The RE4 and RE7 are the most atypical. Dead Aim is my second favorite, it's like floating in watery darkness. The best will always be Code Veronica's it's got a romantic feeling that makes it like you could listen to it for hours.

0's theme is pure nostalgia for me. That was my introduction to the series and, though I still never got past the train as a kid, I remember the game very fondly. Plan to finally play it to completion soon, considering I finally found my copy of it that I lost so long ago.
I LOVE 0, I totally got stuck on it when I was a kid though lol. I know exactly where I was stuck too, it's when one character gets trapped in the room and the other has to fight the scorpion to get the ice pick. I didn't know that you could press the blinking red button to drop the ladder down. REmake 1&2 are so damn good though, I expect 3 to also be incredible. Never played any game past 3, though.

I've been playing video games since the early 90s and I can say with conviction that no other games could replace resident evil 1, 2 and 3 in my heart. :)
I love how the composer of Nemesis put a sense of urgency behind their save theme. RE3 relied on that sense of impending doom and need to get out ASAP. So they melded the sense of calm that traditional save rooms had perfectly with it.
imagine yourself with this apocalypse, trying to get bullets, food and everything you need to go on, and suddendly after all the trips and journeys you go on, those musics pop on to cover yourself somehow in some save stance until you move on to the next stage .-.
When ever I hear the RE 2 save theme, I’m safe. I can recharge my batteries and go back out there to kick ass. I hear the RE 3 save theme, I’m still worried. I’m trapped inside a city with zombies and the Nemesis out there hunting me. I need to escape. I’m not safe.
@@Heavenly_Senshi Some of the changes they made to the game via story/gameplay felt cheap and unnecessary as well as being rather rushed in places. Was still a fine game but not nearly as good or as faithful like the RE-Remake was to the original.
Tyrant on the plane is easy. The Anti-B.O.W. grenade rounds are supposed to be saved for that fight. Then dodge him and plink off his health with explosive tipped bowgun arrows until he bleeds. After that, push the button for the crate (when tyrant is lined up with it) and launch him out of the plane.
I enjoyed CVX, played it for the first time about a year ago. But I do think it's one of the weaker ones. Way too much backtracking (even more than most RE games) and the areas were way too big and complex. The whole game just felt exhausting to me, like it was trying so hard to one up every other previous game in the series by having the biggest areas, the most items to collect, etc and it made certain parts feel like a chore. But I still enjoyed it overall. By the way I had to kill the Tyrant on the plane with only the box because I was out of ammo. That almost drive me insane.
Yup dude when I first got the game on launch I remember walking into the very first save room and thinking " hell yeah capcom has still got it damn it!" But then they neglected re2 remake's theme so now idk what to think
Every single one of these themes inspire some sort of nostalgia for a different point in my life when I played each game. Video game soundtracks truly are unique and special for the experiences and moments they remind me of.
I remember Being in better times playing these games I will forever treasure these games for the memories from a kid to teenager to adulthood 💙 RE will forever live within me💙
1 and CV are masterpieces. 1 gives you serious feels of safety and danger at the same time, peace and eeriness while CV just give you all types of feels.

The Remake "Safe Heaven" is by far my favorite. Its so relaxing and really does contrast all the horrendous crap you face in the mansion. followed closely by the Code veronica save music

It really did. It worked very well during the game.
This really makes me sad. Especially hearing part 4. I remember playing it in October and November in 2012. I was in 4th grade and my dad got it for me on my ps2. I can’t believe it’s been almost 6 years. I was so happy to play it and so grateful my dad got it for me. I was probably too young to play it but who cares? It’s fun and now I have good memories of it. I replayed it again this year and have almost finished the whole game. Great times. The best year of my life so far. Thank you so much for uploading this.

I like RE 7’s the most. It gives off a mix of “finally, I’m safe” and “But there is worse to come after this.” It also matches the setting pretty well!

The Code Veronica save theme is my favorite. Actually the whole soundtrack while probably not the most popular , in my opinion its the best soundtrack in the series. Especially the final battle theme with Alexia. Phenomenal

The RE4 and RE7 are the most atypical. Dead Aim is my second favorite, it's like floating in watery darkness. The best will always be Code Veronica's it's got a romantic feeling that makes it like you could listen to it for hours.

0's theme is pure nostalgia for me. That was my introduction to the series and, though I still never got past the train as a kid, I remember the game very fondly. Plan to finally play it to completion soon, considering I finally found my copy of it that I lost so long ago.

I LOVE 0, I totally got stuck on it when I was a kid though lol. I know exactly where I was stuck too, it's when one character gets trapped in the room and the other has to fight the scorpion to get the ice pick. I didn't know that you could press the blinking red button to drop the ladder down. REmake 1&2 are so damn good though, I expect 3 to also be incredible. Never played any game past 3, though.

Dead Aim as a whole is severely underrated. soundtrack was amazing, gameplay was different yet fun, and the bosses were cool as shit

I love how the composer of Nemesis put a sense of urgency behind their save theme. RE3 relied on that sense of impending doom and need to get out ASAP. So they melded the sense of calm that traditional save rooms had perfectly with it.

God Code Veronica X was such an evil game. The whole game was sadistic torture.
That tyrant on the plane was the absolute worst.
mopbrothers I loved that game, it was a pain in the ass but was worth it 💚
Tyrant on the plane is easy. The Anti-B.O.W. grenade rounds are supposed to be saved for that fight. Then dodge him and plink off his health with explosive tipped bowgun arrows until he bleeds. After that, push the button for the crate (when tyrant is lined up with it) and launch him out of the plane.
Torturous indeed but with probably THE most beautiful and calming save theme of them all to balance it out a bit :D
I enjoyed CVX, played it for the first time about a year ago. But I do think it's one of the weaker ones. Way too much backtracking (even more than most RE games) and the areas were way too big and complex. The whole game just felt exhausting to me, like it was trying so hard to one up every other previous game in the series by having the biggest areas, the most items to collect, etc and it made certain parts feel like a chore. But I still enjoyed it overall. By the way I had to kill the Tyrant on the plane with only the box because I was out of ammo. That almost drive me insane.
