When I listened to certain tracks from SH I get grounded very zen like. People get sad on non sunny days, but not me. I love grey days, the foggy-er the better and even if it rains. It’s like a elements of nature blanket for the mind. Cruise control on the brain and let it wander. Low hanging clouds makes everything seem closer, it’s amazing to think about!
Apparently, I'm, by far, not the only one people find weird for preferring rainy, dark weather. Comforting to know. Sunshine even depresses me. So I don't get these people loving that stale, boring, desert-like weather.

I remember being literally scared of SH1 on the PS1 in the late '90s. Becoming engrossed in the mysterious Historical Society foretold in SH2. I also remember buying this game, SH3, in 2004 on the day it came out. For me, the ambiance is the most sobering aspect of the original trilogy. There are lots of survival horror games out there now, but experiencing the first three in a home with no internet or smartphones evoked a sense of dread and introspection like few horror games since then have managed to do. The only one that comes close today isn't a game, but the horror film Skinamarink. I recommend anyone who hasn't experienced the Silent Hill Trilogy the same way I did: turn off the phone, wait until evening, close the lights, and shut yourself off to the world.
Skinamarink woke some shit up in me just like that, I felt alone isolated and paranoid, it definitely is not for the feint of heart same with silent hill
I'll keep that in mind. I remember playing SH on PSOne and it left an indelible mark on my mind. I even had dreams in Silent Hill. The feeling of being watched by something unnatural is indescribable.
Watched Skinamarink with my childhood best friend a few months back (we're in our late 20's now) and I am still not over how terrifying it is. To anyone wishing for true horror, I would dedicate the proper time to see it through entirely. Now I gotta pick up the whole SH series and unplug! Thanks for sharing
This the vibe I get when the depression is hitting taking the empty subway home from work at 3 AM. Blissfully peaceful in the isolated subway car with no one around except the ambience of the train tracks and the harsh cold wind brushing against the windows. Knowing that once I wake up I will take the train again and live another day.
I've been on a train ride to nowhere for so long. People wonder why do some like these dark horror games. To me it's because it gives an odd comfort. Perhaps one could say an escape but also a relatability. That's why I always liked the horror games like silent hill because it reminded me of my own struggles but also to keep trying. These games the characters face dark and terrible atrocities, horrifying events, & disturbing, all alone often times. In situations most average people could never handle. Yet they continue persevering.
Listening to this heals my anxiety and OCD but not only that, it feels like I’m transcending somewhere I never been before, almost like a unexplainable dream…

Is it weird that I have basically two main interests in music. I mean all day long im either listening to calm, mysterious tracks like this OR super loud, pounding heavy Metal. Depends on my mood. Such huge difference
When i watch this video, i always imagine myself finally leaving the pain from my previous life behind and getting on this train to start all over again. Hope i get to that point soon
Feel a bit like that too.
This take me back in time, it's so freaking nostalgic. Love it
Chronos
this and some rain = my own personal heaven
im healing from a bad breakup rn, feeling really lonely, but this relaxes me and keeps my feelings at bay. thank you so much for posting this. ❤❤
Stay strong! Thank you for stopping by 🖤
For some reason this is the only thing that helps me study and do work. Love it
Imagine how gut-wrenching it would feel to have been on a silent hill train, for one whole hour, and then just have it stop and realize it just went to nowhere....
Top notch ambience, this has become one of my current favs. Nice job!
Thank you so much! ^^
Love this!
It's dark and scary.
But I want to be here. ..
Thanks for letting me be here
You can stay as long as you wish, thank you for stopping by! ^^
This is helping me stay focused at work right now, thank you, a moment of peace in my day.
Sometimes, i like to put this on when I'm writing my own silent Hill esc story. Puts me in the right head space, you know.
Nice! 🖤
It’s the perfect background music to trip out to, srsly if u haven’t tried it, u should !!
I remember when there was only one of these like two-three months ago, im so happy for more. Agony never felt so good in silent hill 👏 😅
I'm glad you enjoy my music! ^^
Wow i love this mistical sensation and the relaxing and depressive vibe, this is so angelical…
Thank you ^^
Thank you for making this video accessible to _'picture-in-picture',_ so that it can watched AND listened to inside and outside the YT app. Many YTers/uploaders are clearly not just uploading music - videos with moving images are clearly videos - and I always ask when they don't have _"picture-in-picture"_ if they can change it. Often, whether or not they know what _"picture-in-picture"_ is, all I get is an unfavorable response.
I'm a new subscriber, too! Thanx again!
You're welcome, thank you very much for your support and feedback! ^^
this gives me so much peace, why is that ?
I'm watching this video with sound 3-4 times a week. It is very concentrating. Thanks a lot
Wow, that's awesome! Thank you very much for this support! 🖤
Excelente ambientación para pensar sobre tus problemas existenciales, este ambiente me ayuda relajar mi mente para así llegar a una verdad exacta y correcta sobre algún planteamiento que me ponga la mente.
This is absolutely amazing. I love that you can hear the train in the background. Perfect 👌
Is it weird I find this incredibly relaxing.
This exactly the vibes needed.
I love putting this on when having a nap. It could straight up be put in SH3 and it would mix in well with the other tracks. Good job.
Thx a lot! 🖤
This might sound strange, but being lost in the silent hill world with akiras music playing is like an idea of heaven for me ❤️
Just found your channel through this video and I'm loving all the different types you have, I hope you explore more aesthetic games in the future as well as your amazing Silent Hill videos!
Thanks! There is soooo much stuff to explore and create in 2024 🖤🎹
I'll always love Silent Hill....the ost it's just something that I can't explain....thanks for this man, you're great💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thank you for the compliment and for listening, my friend! ✌️🖤
I like this delicate train groove in background.
Very relaxing but at the same time gives a feeling of melancholy and a more bitter feeling of nostalgia rather than a sweet one.
As somebody who has lived in large cities for the majority of my life, this is EXACTLY what I need to put me into hyperfocus mode with work.
Keep it up!
I will! You're welcome, my friend. And thank you for stopping by! ^^
Wonderful music from silent hills
Sitting in the car, drinking, smoking and listening to this for hours.
No melody, no rhythm, no lyrijs, no vocsls. Just void and emptiness.
Again and again I take this train. I've never found a safer and more peaceful place to rest
