- I always felt that this music could be touched a little, so i came up with my own remix about it, more reverb to (try to) sound like in a cavern, and the song is 2% slower in general, figured i enjoyed more this version than the original one, for me it feels more like the dark vibe that it should be.

11/26/20 5:25 am i am sitting in my car while its raining listening to this masterpiece it takes me back to a time when i was a little boy not having to worry about the things and responsibilities of being an adult. it’s beautiful how far we come when we look back on memories and moments we love even if its something simple as hearing a soundtrack from a video game

This edit does sound dark, but not in a creepy way. To me, it's dark in a sad way. I've never played Resident Evil 4, but this edit makes me feel so nostalgic.

Before I played RE4, I was listening to the soundtrack and felt a nostalgic feeling when I heard this song for the first time. It was like I was nostalgic for something I had not yet experienced but was going to experience. The nostalgia to me was like navigating through a dark and secluded world, filled with strange wonders and calming ambience. It was a world that was filled with darkness, shadows, fears, and courage begging to be explored.
That was a feeling I got from the song the first time I heard it. Now that I’ve played RE4, I feel like I had explored this world the song was alluding to and am now haunted by this calming song when I think about it.
That’s one of the reasons this game was one of the best experiences I ever had.
You must play RE4 to know how this moment feels in the game, the only moment you got for relax after lot of stress

I've finished the game like 200 time over and over and it still one of the best games I've ever experienced and can't wait for the remake
Even the normal theme is ment to be sad in all honesty the enemies in the franchise were once people who have lost there humanity completely every main character is just one of the lucky ones who survived and seen it all crumble down

Me and my friend when we had 10 years old we decided to be some pro gamers in CS GO, but sadly he dead with an terrible car crash. Today i have 15 and i whenever i start this masterpiece of RE4 ( one of our favourite games ), i start hard crying because i remember his voice telling me " one day you'll see, we'll be one of the best CS GO gamers". I didn't lose hopes and today i became a really good one but remembering my friend is dead, i just become really sad :(

The filter effect used makes the video feel dark along with the regenerator. And there's something unsettling about how still Leon is. The music makes the video depressing but calming at the same time.

Sounds like something of Devil May Cry... If u guys dont know, RE 4 was first to be a DMC game, you can see a lot of things that DMC have been inspired in RE4.

There is a sound clip in Dmc hd collection soundtrack files that has this music in it but it was remixed. it's owned by Capcom so they have used it in many games and even konami borrowed it for silent hill origins, it's first ever appearance was in Monster hunter 3: "beyond the fog". resident evil 4 however is my favourite version :)

BEST GAME EVER
08/10/2024 - It's 2:07 am on a cool summer night. I'm sitting at my desk, the windows are open and letting in a nice breeze. I see this extended mix, put my headphones on and play the video. It takes me back at least 15 years, playing RE4 on my PS2 as many times as I could, mainly all summer... This moment of peace, amid all the chaos, brings back good memories, much simpler times
To the producer of this video, I have a few questions for fun. 1. How did you managed to get a regenerator in the village? 2. How did you do that affect to the song that sounds like your in a cave? 3. How did you make the screen look all fogged up? This is probably one of the best features of this video. As for any comments of mine, I really like the fact that the regerator is on the same direction of the dead body policemen in the background, I really do Like this version and I plan to do my own too.
*Edit* Years later, now my video is one of the highest videos of serenity out there, reaching over 1 million views, what a great goal!

I played it on ps2, on a laptop in low settings. Now I have GTX 1660 and AMD5 Ryzen 2600, Screw you Re2 Remake. I'm gonna play Re4 again.

Every time that I heard and listen this soundtrack with my headphones it’s get me, I can’t explain how calm and happy I feel, btw I played resident evil 4 when I was 11 years old, now I’m 24 I have this game in my ps4 and pc always playing this game for the soundtrack.

I like Serenity theme. It always relax me and make me sleep in a sense of peace. This version isn't dark, I like it because it's slower than the original and seems peaceful and relaxing. (Sorry my english)
