I got bit by the motorized bike bug!! After owning all kinds of weird and cool gadgets over the years i had to get a kit! I got as many of the good upgrades as possible to work the kinks outta the china doll motor kits. I did forget the hub adapter but I think with a little work and elbow grease I should be able to make one on my small hobby lathe. Can't wait to get it all put together, I just went through the engine and cleaned it up really good/oiled it as well. When i took it apart i was shocked at the lack of oil used, on spots with high friction all they did was put a tiny dab of shity blue Grease on that spot...but zero oil was in the cylinder, on the piston wrist pin and crank. A lot of people b**** and complain about these kits being garbage... But what I see is that they just slap the motor on there without even looking at it or so much as tightening a bolt and expected it to run perfect Right out of the box! Even for a high grade crate motor that would be a tall order! It still takes a massive amount of prep work and tuning do you get a motor to the point of perfection. Also my guess is those stock crappy carburetors are always set from the factory very lean and are complete garbage! I have found that's one way that these two strokes get toasted super quick. It's similar to buying a new chainsaw or weed eater that's a two-stroke, they have tried to take away any adjustment on these small carburetors so people cannot work on them anymore and tune them to run better, they claim that it's for EPA benefits but in reality I think they just want the lifespan of the motor to be much shorter so people have to buy them every few years. But they're also our tricks around this, like getting a better carburetor with low and high speed adjustments. hell, most of the old carburetors have all the adjustments and our 10 times better in quality so most of the time I will just find an old carburetor that fits and use that on instead
Yeah yeah, I hear you man, me too, I'm the same. I get the kit, go through the entire engine, cleaning and port polish intake, and exhaust ports. Chamfering lower edge of the exhaust port. Install window-piston and a reed valve, maybe change the squish on the head. I'm into the jackshaft system, not the sprocket mount on the wheel style anymore. But yeah, you gotta take them puppies apart and finish the work they started
Looks cool I want to do drag and roll racing , i also want to set a side ny side two person course with cones an time attacks , i need a place to do it an market the event. Maybe one day

@@RobertClaus-ev3ct we get this question alot; so for everyone that doesn't understand the purpose of a burnout in drag racing, the reasons WE burn out is first and foremost to get the engine warm, especially since we run two strokes and have a short distance and time to start up and get to staging. If the engine is not up to ideal temp it doesn't run well. The second reason is to warm up the tire to gain good traction. Another key reason is to clean the tire of any pebbles or debris so it doesn't end up on the track. There's other reasons drag racers choose to burnout or not, depends on what suits you. Funny or not it serves an actual purpose.

more excitement and sound than an EV
lol, the reason for the burnout?
Ey bro on the bmx the fckin man dogg
Hey thanks man that's our son Odin , age 10 in this video.
Hi, the one you had the camera on with the white helmet they had no visor. He did the same front wheel from a bicycle and I own that bicycle.
Yeah OK Own a motorized Bicy My myself dont think burn out necessary 😅

Damn a whopping 35 mph!?
Faster than the camera man could move
You'll never break traction?
What's with the burnouts? When they just pedal it off the line
Mixen gas and kicking ass!
Keep at it brother
What do you need the petals for? propulsion?
uhm, they're motorized bicycles. they put bicycle engines on bicycles.
Camera man needs an award
All I see is a bunch of Hondas in a car meet
How small was that last sprocket 😳 prob can go like 50 mph +
That looks like a 30 or 40 something tooth. Definitely pulling 55 on a stock carb and exhaust with that gearing. Imagine that on a built motor
Why bother with a burn out 😅
