I love how Bobby and Jamie show there mother respect and love for their mom. and I love how its all natural. not rehearse. We all would love to see you Paula even when you are 100 with your sons, cooking in your kitchen.
Yes at the beginning Jamie is at the table. Later you see Paula’s aunt. But Jamie left the table. Paula always has a bunch of friends and family at her table.
PAULA, I MUST SAY THAT YOUR SON BOBBY IS SO HANDSOME AND SO NICE. YOU RAISED HIM WELL. HIS WIFE MUST BE A GEM ALSO. PAULA, I LOVE YOUR QUARANTINE COOKING, IT IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY WHEN MY NOTIFICATIONS SAY YOU HAVE POSTED ANOTHER VIDEO. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
@To Be Honest I like them both equally, for different reason. They are brothers, so they don't differ all that much, but they both are so similar to their momma. Love me some Paula!
My Mama's Goulash was made with onion, ground chuck, chopped stewed tomatoes, drained whole kernel corn, undrained kidney beans, and cooked macaroni. I grew up in the '60's;I don't know where she got this recipe but the flavors are so good. Even better the next day. She worked in the local diner before she met Daddy. And Paula is right, don't drain your meat
Paula is shows in your eyes how much your love your son(s)/Bobby. The way you look at him is the way my mother used to look at me when we did things together. I haven't seen that look for 20 years. It brought back the love and memories of my moma You are surely a God sent and beautiful person...keep on cooking with your boys and let the world know how much they should appreciate their mothers. God bless and "best dishes" Jeff from Woodstock, NB Canada. xo
Can I just tell you I love these quarantine cooking sessions! I love seeing that the entire family is together. I miss seeing you and the boys on TV - this is the next best thing!🙂. Thanks for the goulash recipe👌🏾
I always cooked with my boys in the kitchen ever since they were small. They're in their 30's now with families of their own, and all 3 of them are fabulous cooks. This video makes me a little sentimental, it's so sweet, Momma and son cooking together. Thank you for sharing this video❤️
This is the BEST Goulash recipe EVER! I searched for a good Goulash recipe for years until I came across this one - now it's the only one I ever make! SO GOOD!
It's good seeing Jamie and Bobby at home with you. That's the way my 2 boys and I are in the kitchen. Always joking and picking on each other. Love you and your family.
I adapted this recipe for my instant pot! And I,love love love it! The flavour gets driven into every particle of food in this dish. I add 2 full cups of water to the recipe with everything but the pasta. Pressure cook for 15 minutes, vent it, add the raw noodles and pressure cook for another 5 minutes. Then I like to let it rest in the pot for about 30 minutes. The noodles finish cooking and they absorb more of the liquid. Delicious with some Parmesan cheese over top. It really is true comfort food…..thanks Paula and Bobby!
I am so grateful to you and your family for being on UA-cam. I really missed seeing you all on tv and was thrilled when I found you again on YT❤️ Take care and God bless!!
Love Goulash. Paula is right about not pouring off the juices. I loved onions and green peppers, lots of salt and pepper and garlic. The only seasoning my mama ever used and the same recipe I use today. We would add chopped mushrooms at times. Also, we would wait and add uncooked Macaroni to the tomatoes and hamburger so it didn’t over cook. No one likes soggy/mushy overcooked pasta. Love Paula. She’s a good person, like the rest of our parents and grand parents who haves moved on from this world that was raised in a time where things (words) were used that we wouldn’t (most) use today. It was the era. No excuses but love, forgiveness and compassion. We can heal this country if we’d break bread with people more and learn to listen to each other. Thanks Paula. Your son is very handsome and very well mannered.
I made this last night, it was a big hit and the little bit that was left over was even better tonight. I did not drain the grease and it really did make a difference. So good. I made it in the pot I just got from your store in Gatlinburg. Loved it. Thanks so much. Loving these quarantine cooking videos. I think they’re better than a scripted show. It’s great to see your family in these fun casual videos. Stay safe. Blessings. Lori from Florida.
I have been making this recipe for yeats! I always double the batch and my kids come home and snack on it. Its so good!!!! I never use water though....broth (beef or chicken) only...just for a bit of extra zing. 😋 YUM
Dear Paula--My mother made glolash almost exactly as you and Bobby, And that is close to 65+ years ago because I am 69 and I remember it as a child and I love it! You two cooking togather was wonderful to see. The only thing I and my Mom did different was we drained the fat, But today, this moment I tried your way and didn't drain the fat and it is very good.....you are never too old to learn something. Thank you! Gary Dyarman
Bobby your are so right it doesn't take much room for a few garden plants. I've got tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and fresh herbs planted right outside my back door. There is nothing like fresh tomatoes from your own garden, the taste does not compare to a store bought one.
BOBBY!!! LUV when you and Jaime are in the kitchen with Paula. It's so sweet to see you guys cooking together, mother and son/sons..makes my day...That Goulash looks super awesome...enjoy!! Keep making vids..Luv ya guys xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Oh Paula, Paula! I have so enjoyed watching your videos since I discovered them about a week ago! I’ve already made a couple of the recipes and you are right they are amazing. I made the chicken and rice casserole and also this one for the goulash! Which is also amazing. I absolutely love hearing your voice and giggle......it’s like listening to my best friend! You are the bomb Paula and you will never know how much your sun-shiny presence means to people during this crazy time we are living in! Love and best dishes right back at ya sweetie!
GuaranDeen cooking, I love it. When my Bobby was little he couldn’t say Goulash so he would call it “Mach-a-noni glopp”. Thank you for bringing a tear to my eye & sunshine to my heart.
I have watched you guys since day 1 & I still love watching your shows! Thank you all for sharing glorious recipe's with all of us. Stay safe & God Bless Y'all.

This must the best food! Just the best comfort food to settle in with a big bowl of it with the family. I enjoy watching these videos of y’all cooking together, happy and having family time making memories. Make them while you can, bc time changes things in a heartbeat, and memories are precious. ⚡️💖⚡️

One of my favorites that my Mom used to make for me too.. The first time I tried to recreate it as an adult I used spaghetti sauce LOL.. had to call Mom.. she set me straight.. Love y'all.
That’s so funny, because I just watched a different UA-cam video for Goulash. Looked like Paula’s basic recipe but her ingredients used two jars of spaghetti marinara. She said, “Ragu is my favorite.” LOL
Nothing better than walking out to the garden, and plan a meal with the fruits of our labor. Back in the day when you and Jamie had yalls show, I can remember the story you told about your mama's goulash, and you still have that same smile of pride. Many Blessings Yall
The only good thing about quarantine is your videos ❤️. Thank you for taking your time to make them. I just love seeing you and your family. It brightens my day. Bless your ❤️
I love this family !!! I have been watching Paula & the boys since the beginning. It's so strange to see Bobby gray now! Time flies quicker than we can keep up with. They all are looking so great & I pray all God's blessings & love for them.
I need to make a pot of goulash....will probably wait for cool weather. I'm glad to see Bobby and Jamie and the grands in these quarantine videos. Thanks Ms. Paula for helping make this pandemic easier to live through.
I grow my tomatoes in cage planters on my deck. Tried green peppers once and the varmints ate them all. Nice recipe there. Thank you. Paula I didn't know you were 73. Looking good still as ever.
Bobby is so sweet and handsome. I’m a bit older than Bobby. My eldest Son texts me at thanksgiving and wants all my recipes with directions!! So cute and he sends me pictures of his finial dishes! So sweet. Enjoy your precious time together!! ☺️🌟
Happy Saturday my amazing friends...I was raised in Louisiana we made some killer goulash.Crawfish, shrimp, chicken, etc lol looked like momma put everything in it but the kitchen sink 😁 . My momma can really cook goulash. Thank you Paula for another amazing dish . Have a great day love you friends 💓💓
Love the Deen family, so sweet. I remember my mom making Goulash when I was a, she used almost the same ingredients as this recipe, minus the soy sauce & used worcestershire sauce instead, that's how I make it now.
So good. I enjoy watching you and your son interact. He is fun to watch cook. And I also love the way Ms. Paula talks. I’ve watched so many videos I sometimes speak like her now.
This is my go to family’s favorite meal.. period. If they could have it once a week it wouldn’t be enough. I discovered this recipe a few years ago and it has so much flavor, makes enough for a crowd and leftovers are even better.
Hiiiiiii Ms. Paula!!!👋🏽 Happy Saturday🌞😎 & Happy Belated Birthday Bobby!!!🎂🎁🥳 I love your goulash recipe! I'm definitely gonna be making this! Thanks. ❤️

This is a family favorite in my house. I have been making this for a long time now ever since I seen Bobby post it a long time ago! Yummmm 😛love you Paula hope your staying well Beautiful hugs xo
Cynthia Cook 😅 I guess I’m safe then as I don’t see that happening! The VERY FIRST VIDEO I saw was just a few months ago and Paula talked about bauld eggs. I had NO IDEA what that was!!😂😂.
Omg so while he talks he continues to stir which basically blenderizes this concoction after the ‘we like it chunky ‘ conversation. They are so funny together!
You really triggered the memories when I saw your Dutch Oven because my Mom and Grandmother had almost the same one and I remember the meals they would cook in them and oh my! Coming from Texas, I was so fortunate to have a family of great cooks because the memories don't stop.....thanks so much!!
I agree with Bobby, Goulash is one of my favorite comfort foods too! I love to eat it the second day cold right out of the fridge! LOL Thank you Miss Paula for all your years of cooking shows!! I love watching you every new video you put out! Thank you and May God Bless you and your family
I just love how Mrs. Dean allows her sons to be men, even in her presence, and in return they speak respectfully to their mother. You have raised men, ma’am, not an easy task, brava!
Goulash is a classic family dish. In the Midwest we always added green peppers ours. Plus topped with some good old shredded cheddar cheese. No matter thanks Bobby for sharing your version.
Oh gosh, we've literally watched these boys grow up! How time flies!!
Grow up and have families of their own incredible
They're in their mid 50's ...so not really boys.
Hi Paula .your one of my favorite people to what on UA-cam my name is Guy Tharp from rising sun md
Bobby is always so sweet to his Mama and just seems to be so patient and kind. He reminds me of my husband.
Yes, I love it that Bobby is kind and respectful to his mama. Sweet son...love it and love them.
Ÿ
I love that he is so sweet to her! In today’s world that’s not so common anymore
She definitely did something right with them as both of her sons are good men and great sons!
I was told years ago ...if u watch how a son treats his mother then u know what kind of person they are
I love how Bobby and Jamie show there mother respect and love for their mom. and I love how its all natural. not rehearse. We all would love to see you Paula even when you are 100 with your sons, cooking in your kitchen.
I absolutely love the way he refers to his mother as "Ma'am". Such a respectable man .
I really wish you were back on tv. Love you Paula!
Always fun to see sons in Paula’s kitchen. Anyone else notice Jamie sitting at the table? Bobby is still so adorable!
I think the was Paula's Aunt Peggy at the table.
Deborah Suarez it’s Jamie

Goulash was a meal that everyone loved in my family
How can i get a printout for the goulash recipe?
What a wonderful son.
A beautiful spirit and is so respectful of his mother.
So important.
Bobby seems so much more “chill” than Jamie these days. He is relaxed and very comfortable sharing the kitchen with his Mama
Well Jaime needs to remember who made him8
I agree, I prefer Bobby in the videos with her than Jamie- only because he rushes her and we miss those fun camera moments she shares with us.
Totally personal preference. I love Jamie
@To Be Honest I like them both equally, for different reason. They are brothers, so they don't differ all that much, but they both are so similar to their momma. Love me some Paula!

Stay well Paula and family!
You really triggered the memories when I saw your Dutch Oven because my Mom and Grandmother had almost the same one and I remember the meals they would cook in them and oh my! Coming from Texas, I was so fortunate to have a family of great cooks because the memories don't stop.....thanks so much!!
I made this yesterday and it came out great...Paula keep doing what you do I enjoy the videos and my family enjoys the recipes
I agree with Bobby, Goulash is one of my favorite comfort foods too! I love to eat it the second day cold right out of the fridge! LOL Thank you Miss Paula for all your years of cooking shows!! I love watching you every new video you put out! Thank you and May God Bless you and your family

This looks so good. Bobby is a sweetheart too.
I just love how Mrs. Dean allows her sons to be men, even in her presence, and in return they speak respectfully to their mother. You have raised men, ma’am, not an easy task, brava!
I just made this yesterday. My Grandma started us on Goulash and it is still a favorite💕💕💕
“Quarandeen” love it & love the Deen family💕💕 Thanks for all of the great videos!
Goulash is a classic family dish. In the Midwest we always added green peppers ours. Plus topped with some good old shredded cheddar cheese.
No matter thanks Bobby for sharing your version.
