I can't thank you enough for this. I would have never been able to make this work without your video. One question. How on earth do you make this work with the kids in the background?😂😁
What top end kit is this.. i just did my sons pw50 with a $80 ebay kit.. its light weight and feels cheap but works well so far.. now i am about to do my wifes pw80.. but i want a little more solid kit
I used the Niche kit on a 2 bikes now this will be my third and I have not had any issues yet. The best bet is always to use the OEM but they can get a little pricey for these kind of parts. Thanks for watching.
This is a Niche brand top end kit it has worked for me on multiple builds. Best bet is to buy Yamaha oem part which you can find on many sites like partzilla or Rocky Mountain atv website. Thanks for watching!!
And I forgot to mention I’m pretty sure I broke it in right I took it easy at first I did a warm-up and cooldown then I did slight throttle and then I did a Ride In a cool down again then I took a ride and give it a little gas took it easy so I think I did the breaking right let me know
@@dirtbikedadgarage4662 I keep it in mine it may not need a top end I bigger guy and cant afford to buy a 125 so I'm riding my pw80 wich was my first bike and I think I need diffrent sprokets
To be honest this is the first time I did a top and build on a PW 80 and it does not have an exhaust tip but it has exhaust I just order FMF exhaust I hope I didn’t damage the top end
I did my top and rebuild on my PW 80 I know I did it right I’ve done this 1 million times and I noticed I don’t know if I broke it in right it’s running good seems like it has plenty of power but I noticed sometimes I get a little rattle in the cylinder and I don’t know why can you tell me
Didn’t know what you were doing but good job
Thanks for this video i was wondering how hard a rebuild on my 1986 BW80 would be and i figure the insides are the same as a pw80 so ya

Using the piston to ensure the ring is sitting square in the cylinder is going to give you the correct measurement but what do I know.
Awesome vid man where did you get this kit from?
Did you score the cylinder walls?
That's what I was wondering myself if you scored the cylinder walls but it doesn't look like he did
Did you have any problems with the exhaust bolt lining up on the side of the frame? Mines off about half way.
Same here
@@strongislandjetskis I just sort of had to beat it back with a hammer and line it up. It works now.
I think that's supposed to be inch pounds. I don't think those little bolts would handle 80 ftlbs
For sure!
Is that Connecting rod supposed to have that much play
Does it beed to be top dead center?
No it does not. Thanks for watching!
Where can I get that manifold, mines looks super small in comparison with yours 🥲

C57 racing has good oem parts with stage 1 through 3
Hey man did that kit have good compression is it still lasting
Yes it is still lasting after 1 plus year of riding. Thanks for watching!

And it’s a Niechie piston
50 to one
james roberson that would be too rich. Too much fuel try lowering down and see what you get.
@@dirtbikedadgarage4662 I believe what you mean is too lean.
Where can I buy this kit cause I think mine needs a tebuild
Just try searching Niche top end for PW80. Thanks for watching!

Could be you are running too lean. Are you running it with or without oil injection?
Dirtbike Dad Garage no oil injection
james roberson what mix are you running? I think they recommend between 32:1 and 40:1.
11mm would piss me off lol
There's a few sizes they shouldn't have even made into nuts/bolts/ or wrenches and this is one of them. Thanks for watching.
Pistón????$$$$$$$
