His name is Ivan Trevino, he's kinda famous among percussionists. I would definitely recommend checking out his music.
I nearly always dislike how string players cover modern music but this was fantastic. So glad I found this group.
The fact that it was already somewhat of an orchestral piece to begin with helped, but this was a whole other level
When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin had an unbelievable string cover (in my opinion)

When I first heard this song, the strings grabbed me like a choke hold. I got an imidiate sense of happiness and panic all at once. Rare are the musicians that can actually emote soley with their music...and Radiohead is among the best at that. Great cover guys. You captured the songs essence!

Beautiful version, you can almost hear the words through the cello! the Cello creates so much atmosphere,always loved how Echo and the Bunnymen used it in their music!

Two things: A) I want to buy this in the iTunes Store. Make it happen. And B) this is a bit of a weird thought, but, it's nice to know that if we ever have a nuclear war or some other apocalypse that good music can still be enjoyed with no electricity

AMAZING and the use of the Cajon was so great, I usually hate the instrument as a replacement for drums.
Well the original song in particular doesn't have a powerfull drum so maybe thats why the cajon fitted so well (i think)
