This got recommended to me again and I came to listen to it, saw this comment, agreed, liked it and then realised that I am the one who commented it 3 years ago :D
I believe there is indeed Heaven and believe Jesus is the Messiah, I’m also a Radiohead fan hence why I am here. And my answer to would be that God gives an infinity amount of joy for those who truly seek Him. So if you enjoy Radiohead, you will at least get the same plentiful and splendid feelings in Heaven, that you would normally derive from listening from listening to them. Now as if Radiohead’s music will be there, I honestly cannot say. Jesus does say whatever you proclaim to be in Heaven shall be there. But lastly, dopamine rush you and I feel from music like this, will instead of being momentarily, will be everlasting. The human brain only has enough dopamine support/supply to maintain a few hours a day, for some people more for some way less. The point is, In Heaven (In Rainbows) none will need it objects we clung onto as humans. That all being said, (I know, on a long winded message here) this song and especially this album - In Rainbows - could be listened to forever. God bless you and hope to see ya in Heaven.
I'm gonna check out yes the raven now! There's also a cover I love by Uncle Ugs from waaay back when, before In Rainbows even came out, a simple beautiful piano cover based on early demos of the track before its release.
I loved the arrangement and the instrumentation except for the clarinet, but many people think exactly the opposite when I read the comments, so what do I know. Not due to the performer, she was great, I just thought it didn't mesh well, maybe a hobo would have been better, but great performance, really cool arrangement certainly in keeping with the tone and character of the original which I like. Remember I saw like a jazz arangement of Weird Fishes, sung by a woman who clearly didn't have a clue what the lyrics are about and that's a shame, but this was great, thx guys.
@@lakeshorerush6112 Thanks for your co-operation. I was just a bit gutted when I got their display screen spec. 2x 43in monitors, but they're only 720HD!! I've been composing a 4K videotape of my dad's life :(
No matter what happens now, i shouldnt be afraid. Because i know: today has been the most perfect day i've ever seen.
i love these radiohead covers made by jazz bands or orchestras
it makes me love radiohead even more
Yeah they really put into perspective the richness of the polyphonies, rhythms, the usage of dissonance and discordance.
Me toooo 💙
@@shorgothyou forgot syncopation! 😂
I'm with you!
That clarinet player is amazing
Thank you!!

How can we live without music? I truly hope in heaven (if there is such thing) I can listen to radiohead

The timing in this song is really weird. They nailed it! I love this.
Indeed, especially for classical musicians which may not practice such syncopated rhythms on a regular basis.
Indeed
@@diegosandoval2043 its not the percussion but the piano is syncopated
@Bilal Khalid don't see how sheet music keeps you in time but ok
@@ethandeister6567 Love that someone explained this perfectly, watched a video on this song and that’s the exact reason.
Remarkable restraint throughout
I could literally hear the words from the clarinet on the final verse. Made me tear up. Amazing performance guys.
Thanks so much, Tyler!
It'a all about the syncopation here. Spot on! Great job! ❤👏
really really good on the percussion
Thank you!!
Listening to this I've gone all googly-kneed. It's the yummiest ear candy.
Beautiful! Keep going guys!
Thank you!
What a beautiful melody. Radiohead have always been one of those bands that blow others out of the water.
just... wow
Sounds great! I still struggle to find the beat after all these years of listening to it :)
I when the anti-rhythm comes in, i just can't pinpoint what composer that comes to mind. Like Arvo Part, or something free-floating like that.
I love this beautiful sad song. It’s my favorite song.
Glad you enjoyed it. We love this song too!!
Love your precise 909 beat by hitting sampler
A record should be made of all classical/jazz covers of RH sounds and even tour with it.
Beautiful rendition.
Thank you!
tearing up rolling on my chair
That’s something else …
The xylophone really draws out the syncopation. What a beautiful piece and tribute to the originator.
He's playing a drumpad that's next to a xylophone
Not me tearing up right now. Oof that was beautiful.
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning rendition of an already beautiful song!
Thank you, Allen!
@@lauramclaughlin3947 Of course! ☺️
Videotape only has two covers worthy of our tears: this one and Yes The Raven's.

Memories too sad linked to this music avoke when i hear it, but when start hearing it, i can't stop
Whichever form this song adopts, it´s always beautifully haunting
Beautiful cover!! It touched my soul
So glad you connected with it!

lost for words, this is sad and beautiful at the same time. I love it, great job!!!
Thank you, Stefan!
i like the the way she does the intonation on the Mephistopheles is Coming For Me part
damn they thought there's no enough sadness on the original song, they decided to improve it up
Best cover of this song i have seen yet
Thanks so much!
My favorite song on an orchestral setting, perfectly nailed. I'm amazed.
this video deserves more views and likes.
This is an absolutely beautiful arrangement. Thank you.

Watch this at June 2024
Stunning instrumental. I love how the strings swell and recede. Just missing Thom's voice and lyrics, and possibly the perfect version. Great job.
Amazing BRAVO

This is really well done!
absolutely beautiful. incidentally detect some chemistry between the percussionist & the violinist

This is so underrated
Do u watch this Thom
can i buy this?
Hi Keith - so sorry for such a delayed reply. Are you interested in purchasing a recording or the sheet music for the arrangement?
Is that prince Harry on the cello??
.
hmm it's not syncopated...
but it is, listen to the snare rim
Kim Philipp Möllgaard yes he is
Kim Philipp Möllgaard you dont understand what you’re saying
It is - you have to get your ear to hear the snare hit on beat 4 in the middle, then 2 and 4 near the end
@Bilal Khalid I’m glad I’m not the only one who was checking for the syncopation!
