I have book marked this video. What an in-depth and versatile tutorial. Getting to see every step along the way is beyond helpful and with the instructions on measuring you could use these same techniques for any project. This is how sewing tutorials should be done. Thank you very much!
I'm so glad you found the video helpful! Creating patterns for irregularly shaped items can be a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it opens up a whole new world of possibilities for storage solutions. Keep up the good work!
The arch is a brilliant technique for meeting two points. Where has this tip been all my life?! Thank you! You're the best. I'm looking forward to playing with my new Ultrafeed!
First rate episode here Mister Grant. Gosh, I learned a lot from this that will carry over into other sewing interests and bag or utility cover projects. The tricks, materials and techniques are good ones to be shown. ~ Thank you. Also nice to have the sources at-hand for the materials and specialty items, many of which I am accumulating!

hi! what a great resource! I was wondering if you had an idea on how to tackle a takedown recurve rolled bag for archery. There are lots on the market but lets be honest.... we all wanna make things. The measuring and pattern making method here are great, how would you apply that to pouches/pockets for riser, limbs, quiver etc internally?
This is a great video. I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong as when I come to sew the boxing on it doesn’t seem long enough on the top where the zipper is. The bottom fits perfect and I have triple checked the measurements. It’s blowing my mind please help
Sometimes when you sew a zipper in the boxing the stitching will shrink the assembly slightly, the longer the boxing the more sewing the more shrinkage. So.... cut the boxing longer a few inches, then after sewing in the zipper, cut off any extra still left. That should solve the issue.

This is exactly what I have been searching for. Thanks for showing the principles for creating irregular shaped patterns for bags.
