I made my Mum a knitted top. She's recently moved into residential care, she will be 93 in mid-July. Sadly one of my brothers emptied Mums house and threw it away. Well it went to a thrift shop, but I don't know where!
But I'm just going to make her a new one as she wore it regularly and not just when I was popping in for a visit.

I have never crocheted a top for myself before, but i have just started making a versatile scarf/shawl/shrug with crema worsted in poetic hues. Now I don’t know why I thought it was too hard in the past. I picked up crocheting during Covid and only made bucket hats. Cardigans are the best. The first top I ever crocheted was the Confetti DK pullover. I made it after I saw it in one of Chandi's lives. It was so cute, I couldn't resist! I had never made a garment before, but I loved it so much that I have made a few others since then.

I'll get back to it. The Crema yarn is a dream! I've been working on the Mou Leipeis poncho and I was getting it done quickly until I got to the seaming and I kept sewing it up the wrong way. So I'm taking a break and making my last Creery sweater for my other niece.
