I learned to knit by Expression Fiber Arts 💐 I really appreciate all that you’ve shared over time 💐
I have fallen in LOVE with your yarn and I look forward to Fridays!! I taught myself to knit about 1-2 years ago so I could make my upcoming baby his first baby blanket ❤ I’m thoroughly obsessed with the art of knitting now and I just have so much I want to do!
I love the newer version. Those colors are so perfect for fall!
What a beautiful sweater! I really appreciate how you share these beautiful patterns with us for free. That are always well written, doable patterns supported by a video. I have learned a number of new techniques from watching your videos, and, as someone who has a relatively limited budget for my crafts, the fact that such stylish, patterns are available free for a time really helps. Thank you!
i started knitting, went to crochet for 5 years, and am relearning knit! I've been following your channel for years and have absolutely loved all of the patterns and how easy they are to follow. All of the youtube videos as well have been absolutely deliteful, i originally watched your "how to knit/cast on" vids yeaaars ago when i first started. Kepp up the amazing work
Love your designs and yarn and the way you advertise them. It is a pleasure to watch you do it😍🙏🌻
I learned how to knit from one of your videos about 7 years ago! I came across a video for a baby blanket and learned all the basics from your channel. I never finished my blanket, because I decided to make it Queen sized and it's still on some spare cords, but I've been knitting ever since. This sweater pattern looks really nice, and I will download it to add to my collection of patterns. I've never done a circular yoke pattern sweater before and this would definitely be good to have in the stable as a reference. As a guy I generally have to modify patterns and see what works best for me. Thank you for teaching me all those years ago! :)
I had no idea that the provisional cast on was/is so simple! Thank you Chandi! This is gorgeous!
I am a new knitter (I've crocheted for years) this looks interesting as a beginner but always like to keep growing in my craft! Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern!
Thank you for the updated version of Fennmont featuring your Buttery Sport yarn,
My grandmother's taught me how to knit and crochet when I was about 11 or 12. I had stopped for a couple of decades and picked it back up a year and a half ago.
I made Sweetgum in the Twisted Tweed and it's a really great base to work with.
💕Although I already have some unfinished projects, I’m dying to try this now and drop my other projects.
The yarn is what makes this special. I want to try both types. ❤
I love this sweater! I've been wanting to knit a sweater and this is perfect! I'm a beginner level knitter (I'm better at crochet) and I really want to challenge myself to become better at it. I think this pattern is a good start. I love your tutorials. You are a great teacher and make things easy to understand. I love your videos.
Good morning, beautiful Sunshine!!! Thanks for this great tutorial!!! This would make a gorgeous winter sweater for Central Louisiana!!!
The twist & color effects of this yarn is so beautiful 💙
This pattern came at the most perfect time but then it was the perfect sweater. I've been trying to decide between 3 different colors for a next sport Weight sweater project and could not decide. Here comes this sweater reminding me it doesn't have to be just 1 color! The big wow was when you were going over the 1st colorway. Those are my colors too! Can't wait to watch the tutorial! OK.... Back to the video, Bye ❣️
Fennmont has been on my must do list since last May. I’m a beginner and the update is even more motivation to get busy practicing so I can move on to this sweater!
Long time crocheter, adventurous new knitter, I absolutely love this! I've made my first chunky cardigan and I'm ready to take on more wearable projects. This yarn is gorgeous!!! I am definitely getting this pattern. ❤❤❤❤
What a beautiful sweater, and your tutorial makes it look achievable for someone with limited experience
Beautiful pattern! I love provisional cast-on because you don't have to pick up stitches afterwards 😊
I ❤ that provisional cast on!!! I've never seen it done like that. I've been knitting for years and I love that there are always new techniques to learn! 🥰
I love the 3 color contrast. I also like the simple design of this sweater.
I'm a crocheter, actively learning how to knit. Very exciting. I would love to knit a sweater!! ❤ What an interesting way to cast on with a crochet hook 👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks for the tutorial 🎉😊
I love these "knitted T shirt" type sweaters. Perfect for layering and simple designs make me want to knit several in different yarns an also with different fit - tight or loose or suer loose!
All of your patterns make any kind of yarn beautiful
Book marked this video! Chalked full of techniques! Thank you ever so! Enjoy your weekend ... I will.
I have been oogling Fennmont for so long, and I loooove the twisted tweed - such a joy to work with! I'll have to add this to my never-ending list of to-be-knits. 🥰
Beautiful sweater, Thank you for sharing these patterns with us and the beautiful yarn and all the technics you show us continue the good work and all your patterns are well written.
I visit your site every Friday, (and a lot of the other days of the week 😁). I miss having a yarn store to go to to get my squishy yarn fix. Thank you for the patterns. Thank you for the warm, upbeat and supportive videos.
Lovely pattern with techniques I haven't learned yet, I'm excited to learn new things. Thanks for these clear video instructions.
You make the provisional cast on look easy. Oddly enough this beginner knit cardigan pattern I found had one and even the more experienced ladies that knit in my group never did one before.
Love that sweater in the multiple colors!! Tweed yarns really appeal to me. Thanks again for a lovely pattern!! 🤗🧶💖🧶🤗
I have made several knitted items in the past but I seem to have a mental block about knitting a sweater. But after you explained the simplicity of this sweater I think that I might give this one a try.
This sweater is lovely. My kniiting skills are growing. I may try this. Chandi,. your teaching videos are SO hELPFUL. Thank you!
Congratulations! Your comment was chosen to win the 6 skeins of Buttery Sport yarn! Please send us a message using our contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/ and let us know where you would like us to ship the yarn. Thanks so much, and have a wonderful day!
I'm loving the gradient version with the tweed yarn. Beautiful!
I'm fairly new to knitting. As a long time crocheter, I love any technique that uses a crochet hook.
Cute sweater!
That is a beautiful sweater I have never worked a provisional cast on is very interesting thank you Chandi for this lovely pattern good luck everyone.
Downloaded 🥰 This is so amazing you have such beauful patterns and they are available for free. I am learning kinitting with your videos, this channel is my favoruite. Thank you for your work and passion for knitting and fibers.
Such a pretty pattern. Simple and yet elegant! So glad I learned how to do a provisional c/o. I am excited to start the next project as I had the yarns and didn’t know what to knit.
Thank you for the amazing tutorials and your great lessons. I enjoy every video you make. Have a fantastic weekend!
The yarn looks so beautiful I can imagine holding it is wonderful. Love the fall colors😊 Your cast on tutorial is the best…thanks for sharing.
This looks amazing! As a fairly new knitter I’m so excited to try this as my first completed sweater pattern! Thank you for making videos that are so easy to follow! The hardest part will be selecting a color way. Thanks so much!
Hi Chandi. Beautiful sweater! Thank you for another great pattern and tutorial filled with clear and concise instruction. Have a great weekend!🌸🌺
Beautiful sweater. I love that you can make several versions depending on the yarn colors you use. Definitely going to knit this up for the winter.
Thank you for the updated pattern with Buttery Sport! I love that yarn! I still need to learn how to make a sweater. This is highly motivating me to learn!😊❤
This may be my first sweater. I love how you explain things.
Saving up for some good knitting needles before I start my first sweater. This is definitely one to remember for that moment (hopefully soon 😊)
Wow! Another sweater I want to make! It's stunning and I love the twisted tweed. My favorite tweed is the Nugget. I've done 1 Creery last year, 1 this year, 1 Falling Stars, while the Kaleidoscope (for me), 1 Creery for my other niece. I got the Rose Gold Buttery Bulky yesterday. For now, I'm working on the Mou Leipeis poncho, which I'm loving the cable and sideways dcs. I got tired of knitting in the round and tinking in the round. I'll never get board with Free Pattern Fridays!!! Thank you! Love and hugs!!!
What a wonderful sweater. Thank you for sharing with us. Can't wait to begin working on this sweater. Thank you again.
Very beautiful and top down is so easy to do!! The yarn is just gorgeous. I watch every week and have purchased so much of Expression Fiber Arts yarn I'm running out of room!!! LOL!! I do intend to to make this beautiful sweater though. Thank you for bringing us all these great instructions.
Tops like this make me wish I could just spend all my time learning to knit 😁
I was a bit confused with the provisional cast on, but I believe once the yarns are in hand and project is started that it will make sense. Thank you for the pattern.
Hi Chandi! This looks like such a comfy sweater and the color choices are really pretty. Thank you for the tutorials!
Once again, it is a beautiful pattern that I long to make. Thank you for all your inspiration with both fiber and patterns❤
I just started knitting a few weeks ago and am working my way through some socks. I love this pattern and have it downloaded so I can study it and practice some new skills before buying the yarn to make it for this autumn.
This is a very pretty sweater! I can think of several color options that would be so stunning!
Really nice Chandi!! Looking forward to this as I learn how to knit!! I know I'm in the right place!! You're a sweetheart! 💕
I love this pattern! It looks relatively easy, yet something’s that I am not very experienced at. I have been knitting and crocheting for over 50 years, and get excited when your patterns have a new stitch or technique that I can learn. Thank you for all your amazing patterns and the easy to follow videos. They are my reward for getting morning jobs done on Friday.
Gorgeous pattern! I think it looks beautiful in every color design. Can't wait to make it ❤
I love this pattern! I finished mine earlier this year in Twisted Tweed Hoot colorway. 💕 I love all the tips in this video. I would love to see a way to change colors in the magic loop method with no gap, if it ever would work into a pattern video for you! Your yarn, your videos, your patterns are all amazing! Have a fabulous week! 💕🧶
Very pretty pattern. Love the blue version of this sweater.
I love Fennmont! I made one in Buttery Sport, Paradiso Hues for my sister, and one in Twisted Tweed Sport, Blaze Hues for myself. Both versions are yummy, soft, scrumptious. And, I already have more Twisted Tweed waiting to be made into another Fennmont. 🙂
I love the more gradient look. It has my heart!!
❤❤❤
Picking up the pattern today. Love everything about it . Especially the color.
I can't wait to cast on . ❤
Beautiful sweaters and the yarn looks lovely. I hope I get a chance to knit my first sweater soon. Thank you Chandi…💜
Lovely sweater using beautiful yarns! Thanks for the pattern, tutorial and giveaway!
Lovely pattern this Friday ❤ perfect for our South Africa weather
Pretty sweater and lady 😉 … I always love watching your videos Chandi. They are always so informative. ❤❤❤☺️👍🐈🧶
I love top down sweater patterns! Beautiful yarn, too.
Those are pretty colors, I never knit a sweater before, but this simple pattern is easy for a beginner like me to try.
This is so lovely, thank you for sharing your wonderful art with us! I'm still new to knitting (I do more crochet) and I'm excited to explore sweater patterns. Thank you!
I love your tutorials! They've taught me how to knit. Thank you!!!
I’ve never tackled a sweater but now is the time!
This looks pretty easy thank you you all your inspiration - I’ve never seen this provisional cast on that way before 😊 something new to learn
So nice ❤
I mostly crochet, but i really want to finally learn to knit a top down sweater. And this is perfect
I love this sweater! I have not tried it, and it’s been a long time since I made a pullover.
I have never done e a top down sweater so it looks fun to try that as well!
I think my next thing is going to be trying to learn magic loop. I don’t mind knitting in the round, but I want to get the hang of the magic loop method, too.
All the yarn differences and outcomes. Interesting!
Thanks you for sharing this beautiful cardigan 🎉🎉🎉 you have beautiful soul
How funny! I have this in my wip right now (on the back burner til I finish a test knit). I love the twisted tweed and buttery sport so much. So so soft.
Wowwww what a beautiful sweater!! Im imagining your "Nesting hues" in this pattern... the perfect fall sweater ☺ i like that this is in a sport weight!! ❤❤
So excited to make this! It’s my first big project for myself🥳😊
Beautiful pattern and yarn. Love the Buttery Sport
I'm a crochet person. I'm almost finished with my first crochet sweater. It is one that you work each panel and then sew everything together. My next one, I want to try one that is all one piece. I'm still new to knitting, but I think I can do this pattern since it is mostly knit stitches (I don't like purling, but I hear no one does). It's time to print this one out and prepare myself. My hands can stay idle for so long after finishing a project. 😊
Beautiful pattern and gorgeous yarns. Love your colour combinations ❤
WoW 😮 it’s a beautiful jumper as a complete beginner to knit it’s too complicated for me 😊 Thank you 😊
Thank you for the pattern and tutorial! Have a wonderful weekend!
Lovely as usual. I've knit lots of sweaters over the years but never a top-down one.
I love this pattern and the yarn. I'm definitely going to have fun making this one. I think this just might be Christmas presents this year.
Very nice sweater pattern! I've been meaning to kit a sweater as a challenge to myself. I'll wait until things settle down so I can be concentrated on a pattern like this.
I love this sweater design. I have made this one with the twisted tweed and love it!
I've been collecting patterns and this has just been added to the list, love the fall colors, definitely my style
Both sets of colors are beautiful. I also love the one color version. 😁
Can wait to knit this up to see how it works up thank you for another wonderful pattern!
I'm still a relatively new knitter, but I think I just might have to cast this on for my next project! ❤
I love this sweater 😍 ❤I have been wanting a twisted tweed sweater and thought Kòngsie the sweater/poncho the "swancho " but I worried it would make me festivly plump . I'm not as skinny or run as much as I used too. But this sweater is perfect 🥰 I can still have the gradient and control the fit over my insecurity areas around my stomach and arms. Thank you so much for another beautiful pattern! It's no wonder most of my stash is Expression Fiber Arts. I just ❤❤❤ your yarn!
Love the design of this sweater, will really go with any outfit. 😊
Oh gosh, that dark sweater looks so yummy 😋 😍 my favorite, wish I can make that but sweater just intimated me right now 😫 one day
Your videos are just so calming! I love watching them and I love your yarn!
I like both color combinations but the twisted tweed is my favorite
Happy Friday Chandi! Hope you have an amazing day! This is a beautiful sweater. Thank you!
This is THE pattern I've been waiting for to make my first sweater. I've worked with knit/crochet since the age of 5 but have yet to make a seater. The yarn is gorgeous and the highlight of any day, is if I'm about to knit/crochet or any period of time. Thank you Chandi and your team for these incredible videos, patterns and yarns!!
