She retired at 96 and continued to volunteer for another 10 years before she passed at home of natural causes at age 106. She was asleep in her bed. When you love what you do and do it all your life, you live a long productive life...

Robin is right; in this society, older people are pretty much ignored and how I say at times, “put out to pasture” as if they do not hold any value anymore. We need to be careful because one day, by the grace of God, we can live to be that age and still be healthy and hopefully be appreciated. I don’t want to be forgotten and ignored in the future.

She retired at 96 and continued to volunteer for another 10 years before she passed at home of natural causes at age 106. She was asleep in her bed. When you love what you do and do it all your life, you live a long productive life...
Wow!! That's amazing. I can't imagine working until I was 96, let alone 100. I will be lucky of I'm still going at 86. Yes, it would be so lovely if we all could do the type of work that we loved, we would live much longer. Blessings ❤

I ♥️ this woman!!! What an inspiration!!! My daddy is 92. He contracted poliomyelitis at the age of 25 and was told he was going to die. He told his doc to go to hell!!! He is the last surviving patient from his iron lung unit. I am EXTREMELY PROUD and grateful for my father!!! He is my HERO!!! With all the challenges he faces, he continues to thrive and carry each of us on his shoulders. I am incredibly blessed!!! Would love for my daddy and this amazing doctor to sit down for a visit. ♥️❤️♥️ Sending Dr. Freeman lots of love, light, and gratitude for gracing us with her presence. The world shines brighter because of her!!! 💖✨

What a phenomenal lady MashaAllah! Not only that she walks, climb stairs, and works at 92 years of age. My favorite part about her is her humility - greeting passer by’s and taking public transportations. Otherwise we usually see medical doctors and their families as snobs.

Bible say take a lesson from the ant you lazy one, so she is a great inspiration for these lazy folks because me myself I am old school and I was not thought to be lazy we had to work hard our parents back in the day did not allow us to be lazy kids and I am a caregiver at home taking care of my mom who is 90 yrs.old so they are a real awesome example for us and I am employed getting payed to care for my mom and I worked outside of the home before taking care of her to set an example for my daughter and she is working two jobs so much said ,much love to you and your family a have a fantastic rest of the day.

I have been teaching for 46 years now although I officially retired 3 years ago. I hope to continue teaching for as long as I live. The good doctor is a great role model.
Robin is right; in this society, older people are pretty much ignored and how I say at times, “put out to pasture” as if they do not hold any value anymore. We need to be careful because one day, by the grace of God, we can live to be that age and still be healthy and hopefully be appreciated. I don’t want to be forgotten and ignored in the future.

I still offer my seat all the time I am in the train ,metro, bus or anywhere an elderly person shows up . I even did that last night in a pub in the Nottingham, when two elderly couole showed up when I was watching Arsenal FC play Tottenham Hotspur in the Caraboa Cup competition.

She's about 40 years older than me, and it always shame me some, when someone older than me is doing more with their life than I am. But that also motivates me, to stop having pity parties, or blaming others for me not doing better. I sure hope to go to New York, one day, and meet her, just to shake her kind hands, and thank her for the wonderful work she's done.✌❤🙏
