I'll never get over Flint having a Steelix, Lopunny and DRIFBLIM as a Fire Elite Four Member. It's excusable in Generation 1 with Agatha and Lance but in Generation 4?

I feel as though Rotom was originally intended to be legendary. Rotom had the legendary battle music, it’s grouped towards the end of the Pokédex with the rest of the legends, it has a unique way of encountering it and it has the multiple forms. I think it wasn’t until later down the line when they decided to change it.
I totally thought it was when I was a kid, and even to this day still regard it as a pseudo legendary at the very least.
I dont think so even in gen 4 you could breed with Rotom there was Never legandary Pokémon you could breed with

@@NosteralGaming Yes, you're referring to Manaphy, which is inspired by the Turritopsis dohrnii jellyfish that can revert its cells to potentially live indefinitely. As a result, Manaphy doesn't produce Manaphy eggs but a weaker version. Rotom can be bred normally. I think It might have been a test for the Zorua treatment. While not legendary in the first part of Generation 5, Zorua was challenging to obtain (only via Event) but breedable and Not legendary

The funny thing about the Beta Sprites is that Beta Giratina was'nt even supposed to be Giratina in the first place,according to the name it was given which was "Chimairan",so the concept of Giratina came much later after they dropped "Chimairan" design but we can see some elements of " Chimairan" present in Giratina,especially since both have 6 legs,i love those Beta stuff,by far the Beta of Gold/Silver and the ones of Diamond/Pearl are the ones that i liked the most

Seriously, I had a heart attack when I accidentally found it for the first time as a kid. For the LONGEST time, I genuinely believed it was legendary.
Always thought it was a mythic back in the day. Only until like a few years back I wasn't aware that it's just regular.
I'm almost positive it was intended as a legendary, but they walked it back in later generations.
I think the encounter is cooler with legendary music I don’t know why everyone finds it weird or complaining about it, it’s just a cool encounter in Gen 4 , get over it

If you have a Pokémon Pearl/Diamond connect to a Pokémon Platinum game in the Grand Underground, the sprite for the Platinum player on Diamond/Pearl will display as the Diamond/Pearl sprite instead of the Platinum. On Platinum, both versions of the player sprites are present.

The opinion that HG/SS are the best Pokemon games is far from universal, I feel like I see more people hyping up B2/W2 than any other game. I personally consider Crystal to be the best by far

RE: Arceus' name, I say it exactly how Silvally's ability is named: Arr-Kay-Ess.
Arceus' name is derived from "Arcane" and "Arch-" (as in ancient, like archaeology and such) and "Deus." There's an "Ay" sound in both the full words in there. Plus it's fun to just be kinda annoying like that.
Anyway, Gen IV best Gen. I love it in all its forms, yes even BDSP, I always have a blast playing it.
This. I was gonna mention about Sillvallys ability being a reference to Arceus as well.
About the 1000 arms of Arceus thing:
I've heard a theory that the Arceus that we can catch _is_ one of its arms. The only evidence for this is that Arceus somewhat resembles a human hand. But it also explains why a regular human can catch it, it's just a tiny piece of Arceus that it's allowing humans to interact with.

Gen 4 is probably one of my favorite gen because it introduced the literal Pokemon God and it is where Cynthia and Garchomp debuted.
Cynthia is regarded as the strongest Champion in the games. As of BDSP, her 2nd rematch and Level 88 Garchomp towers above Red as her team has perfect IVs, EVs and competitive held items and sets.
Garchomp is my favorite Pokemon. From Pokemon Y to Pokemon Violet, my Jolly 5IV HA Garchomp has all the ribbons. (I couldnt start at Gen 4 as there is no HA back then and there was no way to change abilities back then. There is also no ribbons on Gen 5 so I started with Y, Gen 6)
Also, did you know that in PLA Arceus himself stated that the Arceus we see and capture is nothing but a portion of himself? Just an avatar of sorts. Which means, just like Complete Kyurem, true form Arceus is yet to be revealed.

I like it how some of the early gen 3 sprites are actually somewhat different from what we got in the end, and some of them are just Microsoft Paint versions of the current ones. I’m not trying to make fun of anything though, it just goes to show that some awesome ideas have humble beginnings.
You were probably already informed that arceus is confirmed to have a never seen true form(its pokedex in pla literally says recieve a PART of arceus)however if you look at its boss fight it uses the signature move of all 3 the creation trio moves it cannot learn peoving that even the avatar we get is actively limiting itself.

Very good, but I wish you'd have included stuff like the red chain as a key item (unobtainable), seen it a long time ago in an Italian tutorial on how to perform the elite 4 void surf glitch to catch Darkrai using an R4 flashcard, he would show how to switch the save file from the Italian rom to the Japan Japanese one, and he had it in his key items while scrolling down to assign the explorer kit to Y... He also had a bunch of other weird key items which I can't remember... Obviously cheated, but makes you wonder if these items were supposed to be obtained by the player, changing the story.

I remember playing Diamond in Jr school 8th grade, was the best time to be playing pokemon. 1-4th gen are the best gen. After that it kinda started going down hill, getting easier, with more tutorial, less independency, and uglier pokemon lol. Obviously an opinion, not fact but that's how I feel about it.

I think it's more likely that the description of Arceus's thousand arms is a reference to the Buddhist deity Kannon, worshipped as a savior figure in Japanese mythology. Kannon's "Senju-Sengen" form is named for its thousand arms and thousand eyes.

It seemed to be a waste that the Beta Garchomp line wasn’t used for Hisuinian forms in PLA
What if for Rotom and such Pokémon like the Lucario line, the Zoroark line and the Volcarona line, we call them Pseudo/Semi/Sub/Minor-Mythical Pokémon? Since, you know, Pseudo-Legendary is already in use for something different and I believe Semi/Sub/Minor-Legendary is used for Legendaries that are not the box art ones. Those were definitely meant to be special, yet aren't legends or mythicals since they can breed normally and are rare or unique in-game but are not distributed by event so no mythicals yet again. So, to respect that specialness, I propose we call them Pseudo/Semi/Sub/Minor-Mythical Pokémon!

I can’t be the only one who really isn’t a big fan of arceus’ implementation? The series kinda did a creationism with its execution of the Pokémon. I like to imagine that it isn’t the creator of the universe but rather a creature that can harness the power and of everything.

@@KryptKing I advise you to go and play the final fantasy 3 HD remake on steam which is also 15fps and put it next to the pixel remaster at 60 and youll see the difference in combat speed.
It's a common misconception that PAL-50 and NTSC-60 means game run at those refresh rates when they didn't, most games were between 15-30fps
I think that Arceus is meant to represent the actual real world people who created Pokemon. Why else would it show us real world photos? And if we think about it, even the unown (letters that form words which form stories) imply this since they clearly played a part in shaping reality.

I now understand why gen 7 is so horrible. They tried to ride on the coattails of perfection. They failed miserably, and now have to live with the shame of attempting to top the best god damn generation we will ever have. No stupid gimmicks, rarely any horrible designs, and the best soundtrack the franchise will ever see.

Hgss are not at all universally loved. Gen 2 has a lot of hate due to the level curve being objectively bad. Its mathematically a bad rpg. And jhoto pokemon are extremely slow and weak. The remakes did not at all adress these glaring issues.
