Thanks so much for this video as my neighbor tore his down and asked for my help. First thing I noticed was the large spring and cup if you will. Fortunately I got a good kit that also included the small springs, one was torqued or deformed if you will. Thanks to this video I saved a lot of time wondering how and where the small spring locations were. Much appreciated sir!!!
You were talking about the main jet and sometimes you can not get them out. One thing I found that really helps is to have a couple of Good screw drivers. One that is the right size not to big or to small.
Thanks for your help with the jets a couple weeks ago got my Briggs started but I have 1 more issue , my governor springs. I forgot where they connect exactly. If you don't mind can you send me a diagram of the spring placements if you can thanks again for all your help.
I looked up the model....sadly I cant provide a diagram because there were at least 4 different governor controls for that engine and different stiffness springs as well ....What I will do is make a short video on a V twin I have in my possession presently witch may offer the answer to your question. As most of the Springs are in the same places on other V twins made by Briggs that offer the many different choices. I will try to upload the video in a day or two tops.
