A Bike Story: Never a Dull Moment Out on the Trail

- Sometimes when there's too much on your mind, you can overlook crucial things like, oh I don't know...the weather. Hear about that time I rode my bike for 25 minutes in a driving rain storm and then had to change into dry clothes at a public trailhead. No rest rooms? No problem. Some city worker in Charlotte, North Carolina got an eyeful. Ha! Never a dull moment out on the trail.

Great story that I can totally relate to😂. We got caught in a massive thunderstorm on the Silver Comet Trail… ended up riding for 30 miles in a downpour… because once you’re wet.. you can’t get more wet😂
Yep. Once you’re in it, you’re in it. Just laugh and enjoy it for what it is 😂

Been there, done that. We also carry towels to cover up while changing. It does take some finesse.

Well, I did something similar once. Did not have any other change of clothes. Had to drive home, but I was not 100% necked. I believe I still had my wedding ring on lol. But I did not tell the whole world about it on the Internet. Wait what did I just do. I will never ride down sugar Creek Greenway again the same.

I’ve learned to bring a towel also.. it’s good even on a hot day to wipe any sweat.. another good idea is bring a cooler with fresh beverages in case you could not refill water bottles.. I usually carry ice cold water, Coca Cola, & a beverage of electrolytes.. I usually carry Liquid IV power drinks.. 🚴♂️🙂 🌧️.. Checking the weather can make it a forgettable miserable bike ride or a fun I’m glad I did this bike ride.. 😎🚐🚴♂️

Come to Cali and learn from the surfcats here to change clothes anywhere, anytime (wetsuits, bathing suits and all). Have towel, will travel😊. It's an art form! 😂
