Assuming HRH Prince George takes the Throne and he is as long lived as Her Late Majesty, it would be 2110 before a female Monarch could be possible, if George’s heir is a female Princess.
Of course, that assumes no harm befalls George and the Crown passes to Charlotte..
God forbid that happens.

it's almost like they did it on purpose
At the point of the composing (or rather, utilising of the tune) of the anthem, there were only Kings, and the original lyrics was God save the King. Queens then came onto the throne, and the anthem was adapted accordingly for the Queen.
If I remember correctly it is origanly made for the sun king of France and has become the royal anthem for meny contrys includeing norway
"God save the King" was first performed in London in 1745...

@@Opluentia No absolutely not. Thus, all Met Police (and others I presume) had to re-swear an oath to King Charles. I don't think it it caused any issues but it is an interesting historical footnote.

He isn't attempting to say "it is worse now that it is god save the king" he either meant the video's quality (which wasn't very good) or the version in which the song was conducted (which I also didn't think was very good)
