In spite of the winds, fluke hunters saw a marked improvement at the Nantucket Shoals this week, and with Rhode Island anglers calling the fluke fishing 'the best in five years', we're in a pretty good place for this popular species. Tuna bites continue to go strong with a good showing of rec-sized bluefin east of the Cape and south of Block. And finally, your best bets for large stripers are western Long Island Sound, Block Island and under the bunker pods in and around Boston Harbor.
