One of my all time favorite boxers!
Thanks for doing these vids... People are finding out about Boxing legends they never knew existed through your videos me included.
You got good taste Bro... Thank You from a Puerto Rock!
🇵🇷 amazing boxer I can only imagine all he would have done if he never touched the drugs
I am proud to say I met this great Legend even had a couple of beers with him in Puerto Rico my Island is legendary
One of the greatest Puerto Rican fighters of all times and a devastating knock out technician.
There was something about Wilfredo Gomez.
He walked and moved about the ring like he had hand grenades in his fists.
Like he was grasping handgrenades.
He also often punched with
pillar-straight arms, from a crouch.
Unusual, signature foot movement. He had a distinct, foot-switch, which set up a posture which created the pillar-like straight arm punching.
He knocked out nearly every single opponent. If he even pawed you, it hurt like a full out blow.
He hit with extreme power. He would knock you out.
Wilfredo Gomez was one of. The best Super-Bantam weights, of all time he was a. Class-Act, in the Ring.
Those PR boxing shorts 👌
i want those shorts lmao 👌👌👌 fire
Master at work....👊👊👊👊🤕🤕🤕
Brilliant, brilliant video. I have watched Gomez before but....I must have forgotten how good he was. I need to go back to the tapes and watch more of his stuff. Thanks again mate.
OK thanks hanza
viva boricuas! 🇵🇷
I know I will take some heat for this, but he was the greatest Puerto Rican fighter ever
Nothing wrong about you say he could be the best why not
He is the best PR boxer so far
He was.
What about Félix ‘Tito’ Trinidad
Carlos Ortiz deserves consideration too!
Great fucking song. Perfect choice.
Puerto Rico needs another Gomez and Benitez
Ong our current Puerto Rican fighters are mediocre as hell and some are cocky to an unprecedented degree even tho most of them don’t have any notable wins.
Wilfredo Gomez greatest 122 pounder of all time only 122 pounders to have a chance against him were probably Pacquiao and Jeff Fenech and Rigondeaux
+1001yngwie not at 122 I'm with you 18-0 18 ko's in title bouts at 122 Pacquiao Fenech and Rigondeaux are monsters but Gomez was Godzilla
Morales
Gomez was Beautiful too watch and like you said brother the Greatest 122 pounder of all time !!!
The gold boxing era.
Top puertican boxer numerous uno. And that's really saying something.
he looked like he was a classy fighter
He could be dirty as hell.
Pleasee hector camacho video hanzagod!
I've got one already but had to unlist it due to copyright issues =( ua-cam.com/video/2RjWh3j3Zt8/v-deo.html
When he was a super featherweight he was a beast! As a matter of fact I'd put him up against any fighter in that division
George Foreman (young) vs Vitali Klitschko, who do you think would win?
The Foreman of 1973 would beat most Heavyweights in boxing history in my opinion so I'd go with Foreman.
You know it almost look like there is a Cuban element to his footwork.
Wonder if he ever was around some Cuban trainers.
Very impressive, the name seems familiar but I'm surprised I don't know more about him.
17 straight KO"s in title defenses. Record still stands today... My Fav Boxer of all time...
Puerto Rican fighters don't get the recognition they deserve
Probably British and didn't have any fights this side of the pond... 🤔
Google "Best Super-Bantam in history."

what do you think of floyd mayweather's footwork?
I've never really analysed him to be honest but from the few fights I've seen of his he's quite special.
Can you do a forgotten warriors vid on Jimmy Young?
Cory Hill Jimmy Young is one of the few boxers that I detest watching, hate his style.
Fair enough. He didn't have a fan friendly style but he was a skillful defensive boxer that beat and robbed against several of the best HWs of alltime. Kind of crazy that a guy who got the better of prime Foreman, Ali, Norton, Shavers, Lyle etc is completely forgotten about.
haNZAgod cause of you, i checked out jimmy young.. yup he doenst have a fan friendly style.. but his style is very smart.. the tactics he uses is a little like floyd's recent fights.. he uses the clinch alot to tire out the opponents while outboxing the opponents.. but 1 thing i hate about jimmy's style is when he leaned his head out of the ropes 4 times in a match against ali.. the rest is fine.. he doesnt seem defensively superior.. yet somehow he doesnt get hit as much.. and his style was a nightmare for ali.. ali is used to people chasing him while he's dancing.. but jimmy didnt chase.. just waited for ali to slow down then continue boxing him.. no one can dance forever lol
nigel benn defense highlights
He got hit quite a lot mate. He was alright defensively but that's about it, nothing noteworthy.
Wow minute 2 :39 he almost ko dude out of the ring
L
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Salvador Sanchez!!!!! THE TRUE LEGEND
Pésimo boxeador Wilfredo Gomez
