Ken Buchanan - Is a retired British professional boxer and the former Undisputed World Lightweight Champion from Edinburgh. Buchanan is regarded by many as not only the greatest Scottish boxer of all time, but also one of the greatest British fighters ever, and the greatest British lightweight boxer in history.

R.I.P. to the legendary Ken Buchanan. The greatest boxer Scotland ever produced and an amazing all-round talent. My thoughts and condolences go out to Ken's friends and family at this time, we've lost a great one.

EggDevilKing94 Thanks. I think in terms of defense stylistically he reminds me most of Johnny Famechon but there's definitely some similarities with Locche for sure.
haNZAgod one of my favourite boxers ever. To me Ken Buchanan was one of the finest technical fighters I've ever watched. His fight with Laguna was one of his best performances. Brilliant choice, great video as always. Keep raising the bar, my man

I could watch Ken Buchanan all day. The reflexes, the timing, the style, the grace, the arrogant strut. He was a dancing master who could have made a mug of any lightweight in history. Even the great Benny Leonard would have hit thin air a few times if he'd met Ken. If Ken lacked anything at all it might have been a really heavy punch, with which to protect those wonderful skills. But that takes nothing away from a truly wonderful boxer.
Such a good fighter and champion. So much respect to him. Truly an example to all fighters, especially not physically stronger ones, that with heart and loaded ballz you can stand toe to toe and frustrate and beat even stronger fighters. He even takes steps straight backwards, and leans too far backwards, some things boxers are taught never to do, however he perseveres with pure grit. Even when his feet arent beneath him. Truly wonderful champion.

KB is the highest art form of a "man in motion" I have seen in my lifetime. His movements are like poetry, like a dove, and equally like a falcon, a man who would not deviate from his flow, his artistry . Her would never sink to hanging over his opponent in order to catch a breath. Everyone was cheated in thjs fight. Because erach boxer signed up for 15 rounds. In one of the most amazing records ever done was for this whiter than white Scot , got a call on a plane to hurriedly fight Laguna in 130 degree heat!! (I do not have a clue how anmy non native person could last 15,But the difference between Laguna losing 2X to Buchanan IN !15 one in a KO!!- So I go back to why all pof the fans that saw this Duran fight were too dumb to realize ythat KB was the M

Great fighter not only did he own on the best jabs in boxing history he also was very elusive hard to hit fighter's in history and he was a very tuff fighter that fought Duran in a very tuff fight ended many in a low blow... With Duran winning Mr ken said that he should have never choose to fight Duran fight he should have box him..Duran had a way of putting so much pressure on a fighter and making them fight his fight ...A rematch would have been interesting Ken wanted it but never got it.
