You’re lucky you had the Sensor shipped with yours. I bought same one and was surprised they didn’t ship a sensor with mine. I had to register mine in order to get mine . I was told it could take up to 2 months before it’s shipped.
The 2 bar pin that slides into the bracket is really tight. I had to lightly tap it in. then I used the cotter pin. If I ever need to take it off I will have to use vice grips
So I did as well, slightly tap it, the cheap plastic middle piece broke in half at the factory seams. Poorly made, if some one really wants to steal it they just need to smack it there with just about anything and it'll break. They need to beef that up, one solid piece
With the sliding bracket is there a second space for the locking screw? I am looking to maybe use this as a sliding mount as my terrova hits when I launch my boat.
I just bought one of the 2024 models to put on my Nitro. I had a problem with the motor bracket hanging too far over the bow where it could be damaged when I loaded or, especially, when I launched it. I bought one of the sliding brackets, but it was still hanging over a little so I tapped another screw hole close to the front of the top bracket. I now take my bolt with the handle off, take the sliding bracket more inboard, line it up with that same hole and screw it into there. That places about 4 more inches of the bottom unit on the inside of the boat. It works great.
The shaft on the terrova will adjust up and down to suit whatever depth you need any given situation. So in my opinion you can go too short but not too long
I’m gonna be installing mine, thanks for the detailed installation guide !
Excellent wee video. 👍
I appreciate it!!

Same thing happened to a friend of mine. He got it pretty quick though
I thought I was the only one that used their pickup bed/tailgate as a work bench. LOL

I would have to look but I dont think so. You would need to mount the bracket in a way that gives you enough clearance.
