This is all still very real, coal mining, timber mining towns. Tyler Childers and a few others from Appalachia are putting out real authentic music of what it's like to live in these mountains times today.. He's speaking got a generation of us💜
Yes was about to say this lol I come from a tiny town where lumber was the biggest thing everyone worked for the same 2 places
This being your first Tyler Childers reaction is great it’s one one my favorite songs by him, White House road and I swear to god and nose on the grindstone are great I will literally go from juice wrld to Tyler Childers to lil durk to zeppelin but the genre switches keep me sane! Great reaction as always!
Yea when people say “I don’t listen. To X genre” i think to myself why would box yourself into a limited category when there endless amounts of music out there it’s just silly.
This was written about recent time in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia
Nose to the grind stone is a MUST by him
I’m from Eastern Ky where he’s like our poet laureate. I love this channel.
how great it is to see someone express what music and lyrics can mean looking at it through this certain type of perspective. I think it's important to remember that every song is going to ring differently to each individual. That is just the beautiful part of music. This song may be healing to many, and dark....hard to listen to for others. Its not a history lesson but it is a tale without boundaries... a story like true music is. The way of perceiving the story is different to all- and hard to break down and understand. thanks for sharing.
please somebody turn him on to Benjamin Tod, perfect artist for mental health, who has helped me through some dark times with his lyrics.
Yessss we need him on Benjamin tod my favorite artist
I've been saying it
Yes please!
Yes!!
For sure
I’ve worked in the mines for almost 20 years this is pretty accurate.
Hard Times, Lady May, Whitehouse Road he has so many magical songs.
Love Tyler Childers
“I don’t know if it’s the wine or the coke”
Nose on the grindstone by Tyler Childers is also a great song it talks a lot about addiction and trying to break the cycle
“Find a porch to hold us where we could all scream Childers”
You’ve gotta listen to The Harvest by Tyler Childers. It’s on the same album and I think it talks about a really dark mental place.it’s an amazing song
Thank you guys and thank you for this reaction, it means a lot to me.
Benjamin Tod-Using Again
Pleeeeaaaase
Any Benjamin would be noice
Definitely check out Tyler Childers song Hard Times
Should definitely check out Benjamin Todd and I'd suggest the song Using Again. Or his band Lost Dog Street Band - War Inside of Me
Or can't get away from yourself
I love Tyler Childers!!! Great choice!!!!❤
Awesome finally Tyler Childers thank you so much
More tyler please he's so good. Or Colter wall.
Love this!! Why I am trying to learn better because this is all of us every day!!
Love this song, so underrated in the Tyler Arsenal
You ever been in a coal mine. It is darker than your darkest fear
If you’re gonna listen to Childers you gotta check out nose to the grind stone or follow you to virgie as well. But I agree Benjamin Tod is a great man to check out
Just as I have literally stumbled onto your page this evening you have stumbled on the best song writer since Willy Nelson! Appalachian music and Tyler is an absolute poet and brilliant musician and singer…all three. That’s hard to ever find.
I literally live in that desert haha.
Yes more Tyler Childers!
I’d love to see you react to more Tyler Childers. My request is shake the frost.
Way of the triune God an angels band by him
you HAVE to listen to nose to the grindstone by tyler childers
Definitely need to try Benjamin Tod
First time viewer. Great song to pick. I have to recommend another couple that you would have a lot to work with. Stone by Whiskey Myers and Fire Away by Chris Stapleton.
blessings!
you should check out some zack bryan something in the orange or messed up kid are great somgs
Please check out Zach Bryan. There’s so many I want you to listen to but preferably anything from deann or Elizabeth just not his tops songs. I love them to but not the kind of songs that your input would be best to hear on if that makes sense
You should check out koe wetzel! Love your videos!!
a similar feel like, John Lennon's working class hero...
Life is suffering, nevertheless we endure.
It’s almost like this is from the perspective of someone who has never struggled for anything in life. I appreciate the view and the dissection but this song isn’t just about digging for coal, it’s about generational poverty, addiction and class systems.
This.
You need to analyze the harvest by Tyler lol
can you guys please do durango 95’ its one of suicideboys first couple songs.
Please please do nose to the grindstone by Tyler Childers, please
Another great artist would be Zach Bryan
DO ZACH BRYAN!!!!
It IS a sad hopeless existence. That's why I left
Most of my family on my dad’s side are coal miners
You should react to his newest album, particularly the long music video of Angel band by Tyler Childers. Here's the link...
