I like the direction your channel is going my friend. Old town Reno! I'm quite familiar with this city. You filmed it really well and in glorious 4K quality. The colors of the video are super vibrant. Some of these streets can be sketchy at late night though. The did great with the artwork along the river. This is quite the detailed tour. Well done buddy. like 7
Thank you my friend. I tried to show as much of the beauty as I could. I think Reno gets a bad rap sometimes. I thought you would like this vid, I knew you lived here before! They did an amazing job beautifying this city. Still a ways to go, but doing good. Agreed, it is a bit sketchy at night time... Thank you my friend for stopping by our tiny channel in comparison to your amazing following and channel! 🌞

There's something called "affordable housing" in the Reno/Sparks area... also, it gets really f-n cold there... also, there are places the unhoused can go to pitch tents... also, the population is a fraction of what it is in the giant, sprawling coastal cities that dot the edges of NA/Turtle Island. And lastly, capitalism is to blame. Better We get together to actually build a better and more just world.
I always thought Reno and Las Vegas were comparable cities. They're not even close. Reno has some pretty rough edges but it feels more like a neighborhood than an entertainment center. I feel that its a city with more potential to raise a family in than Vegas.
It's a ghostown. A lot of businesses has lost since the pandemic... I used to live at downtown Reno. The most biggest mistake is when they shut down Harrah's permanently. 4 years ago this little town used to be popping...not anymore... the homeless population really mess up this beautiful little town. I regretted leaving Vegas.....😅
Yes, this walking tour is very nice. However, it gets old when you do it day after day. Because there's nothing else to do. Oh, I almost forgot how aggressive the police are. They will run your license plate while you're sitting in traffic. If you have any outstanding tickets or warrants. Don't got to Reno. Even if they are minor. You'll definitely go to jail. Ya they are always looking for ways to write those tickets. The police are there to protect the casinos and to generate revenue through those tickets. When you combined the police with nothing to do except gambling. My advice..... avoid Reno at all cost. You've been warned.
Thank you for sharing. The police have never given me any troubles in Reno. However I don't live there. Luckily when things get repetitive in Reno there is always Lake Tahoe nearby! Virginia City and Truckee. We just visited Truckee, that was fun.
I remember Reno post 2008 recession, it was a sad place. They still have a ways to go to make it perfect, but I think it has come a long ways. The Riverwalk is wonderful! Can't wait to see how it blossoms in the future 🌞❤️

They certainly looked surprised to see you! 😂 thanks for sharing

That’s great no tents on the sidewalk near the casinos! In San Francisco you could barely walk!Have to look down for poop as well.
Way cleaner than Seattle as well haha :)
The tents are all over just not right on the main street lol

I agree with you, rough edges for sure but overall nice and probably better for families than Vegas, also Lake Tahoe is super close!
Where are the rough edges
Why does it look so dead almost like a ghost town. Is scary
It was an early morning walk, usually it is a lot busier... 🌞
All the action happens at night. Streets are closed off and packed with people.
OK So where are the people?
Haha, I know it is a little deserted on this walk. This was pretty early in the morning. It gets a lot busier later in the day.

Did you go to the Nugget Diner for an Awful Awful?
It is closed down... 😔

I would actually think thats a good thing. Means there is not much crime going on if that what they're focused on
Downtown Reno is a DUMP smdh.
