I always interpreted the kittens as Gigi's and Max's (instead of just being found/abandoned). Jonas (I think that's his name?) makes a comment upon meeting her that she smells weird, which, once the kittens were revealed, I interpreted as him picking up on her being pregnant, even if he didn't know exactly what the smell was.
I think it’s implied that Max was the kittens’ father, which makes Gigi’s anxiety at the beginning of the series make even more sense since she recently watched her mate die. It also makes her dedication to protecting her children even stronger since she may see them as her last connection to Max.
@@ComicDrops I have a good feeling that Lord might look up to Gigi as a mom to him because what Lord is looking for is acceptance and love towards him a lot more than Elsie and Gigi is the only cat that will do for Lord
When Gigi told Jonas before Jonas was killed that she wasn't feeling well on Issue 5, it was implied that her water broke and was about to give birth to her kittens in which she did in the barn
@@ComicDrops I think in the television adaptation of Feral, Jonas helps Elsie lie Gigi on the table because Gigi revealed to Jonas and Elsie that she might be giving birth to the kittens and the saddest part is that Lord wasn't be able to see it. But Patch, William and Scratch were able to see Gigi giving birth to her kittens and it made Jonas realize that there is hope However! To make things even sadder is that the kittens are gonna grow up without a father in the comics. In the television adaptation of Feral, Jonas becomes the kittens adopted father while William, Wilson and Scratch becomes the cousins, Elsie becomes the aunt, Patch and Lord become the uncles
I had a feeling that I wasn't the only one who noticed Gigis behavior slowly changed after issue 5, a difference that can be spotted at the start of issue 7. There might be some implication that Gigis unknown pregnancy might've had some involvement with her behavior that eventually changed in the second arc after giving birth to the kittens. I heard that women's behavior becomes more different when under pregnancy and noticeably changes after giving birth though I am uncertain if it's true or not. Another thing I wanted to add is that after her characterization kicked in within the start of the second arc, She slowly ended up becoming a new addition to the family of Elise and Lord which also provided them another purpose to keep on going in the world of the rabid by doing everything they can to protect Gigi and her kittens until they find somewhere safe for all of them.
Most definitely. Pregnancy and the hormones it produces can wreak havoc on the mother both physically and emotionally, so it certainly affects them. Not sure about cats, but it makes sense.
@@ComicDrops I think you might wanna do Shut Eye after Feral Issue 10 comes outs, Shut Eye is a prequel to No North The comic No North is not available at stores, but it is available online

That’s an interesting detail that I didn’t realize was even a thing. Thanks for putting it out!

Very true indeed.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! 👍👍👍👍
Gigi had the kittens. Before Jonas was killed Gigi said she didn't feel well.

I thought Gigi gave birth to the kittens, I didn’t realize until this video they were adopted.
Apparently, the fans are torn. I didn’t pick up on the detail that Gigi birthed them. I thought they were hidden under the box and Gigi found them.
Wait what book is this one in the feral comic series??
This video covers events in issues 3, 8 and 9.
6:22 spelling mistake 😂
