Hey so I really appreciate the video but for anyone wondering here are the corrections I haven’t read it in a while so if I missed anything or got anything wrong please let me know: 1:24 ordinaries are executed by Kai the ‘enforcer’ people living in the slums are mostly mundanes people with less powerful powers 1:28 here father trained her to fake physics powers since she was a child here father was killed by the king 2:22 that was here fathers house 2:45 the dude actually slapped here and broke her lip 3:04 she doesn’t run she pretends to fall and the interaction of ‘do you always fall into people’s arm?’ Happens as she’s reaching into his coin pouch and talking half of his money then she just walks away 3:28 this happened before pae stole from her 3:51 because she’s an ordinary 4:26 people of the area all pick people to represent them because pae saved Kai they chose her 4:55 she held a knife to his throat 5:05 she didn’t 5:11 no she doesn’t she’s very strong and has been training since she was a child she can effortlessly throw a knife and beat people up and can definitely do a push up 5:22 she used her telekinesis powers to throw the blade 6:03 Ellie is paes maid 6:20 the host brings people down from the crowd for her to read and she does easily 6:37 no they don’t this never happens like at all in no point of the book 8:49 pae wants to stay and help but Kai against her will throws her over his shoulder and takes her to safety 9:27 no he doesn’t have burns yet 9:31 braxton is a brawny meaning he has super strength and they end up rolling around on the ground and braxton holds him over the fire which is how he gets the burns and then he overpowers braxton gets his band but doesn’t kill him 9:51 she is walking towards the water and then Kai comes up to her and asks her what she’s doing she has a bow and is aiming it at his heart but she is about to pass out but before she does she aims it at the ground then Kai tends to her wounds while she is passed out if he didn’t she would have died 10:14 because Kai says to answer a question they have to dance 10:50 Kai buried Sadie which is important bcus he only did it for pae 10:57 this never happened there is no Melina 11:33 jax is Kai and Kirt’s fifteen year old adopted brother 12:12 once agin I don’t think this ever happened 13:11 she already knew the king murded him she finds other resistance members in the house and they make a plan to find entrance tunnels to sneak into the castle so she has to get the information out of kitt 13:26 kitt leaves for this part 13:54 Kai is rlly drunk and pae starts having a panic attack and she’s claustrophobic so Kai pulls her aside and tries to help her and as a last resort he undoes the corset so she can breathe 14:10 this is force by the king they are all partnerd up and have to fight those people and pae defeats Blair by getting her close b us she always hides behind her powers 14:23 they are separated on each side of the mountain: pae, ace, and jax are one team 14:47 idk if ace started it he might have but I’m not sure and it wasn’t growth she just let Kai kill him bcus of what he did to jax (and her) 16:28 Blair doesn’t get there first but at the same time as pae bcus pae is running towards her but the a branch goes through adenas back and she dies also adena is there bcus she was friends with pae 17:43 she already had the injury from the maze she just pretended it rlly hurt to get the guards to let her in 18:01 the king carves an o on her chest and cuts her neck and pae threw the dagger into his throat 18:54 I don’t think it cut her at all 19:58 I don’t think it was rlly off the charts bcus the king literally tortured him his whole life 20:26 I don’t think the flower thing happened
There is soooo many things wrong with this summary, especially in main plot points. Was this written by AI??!?!3:06 she doesn't run, she stays there to distract him, then leaves. There are a lot of small things wrong too. 6:40 the first trial is the forest, second is the mountain, and third is the maze. The dance lessons and ball happen before the first trial. There is no Melina(where did that come from). He stiches her wounds, she makes a salve. The rest is basically accurate.
The amount of inaccuracies, like you can tell its obviously AI,theres so much thats skipped and also a bunch of random stuff that wasnt even in the book .Like-theres not even a single mention of"What have you done to me ?"
Feel like some of the plot is either a bit inaccurate or just very weirdly phrased. There wasnt a trial before the forest one. I don't remember a maze at the beginning, but maybe i am misremebering. However I am very sure that there was no contestant called Melina. No clue who she and her gang are supposed to be. I do like your videos usually, this one just feels slightly off facts. Especially at the beginning/middle part

People are also comparing this to the red queen - which I haven’t read so I can’t say if that’s accurate. Just know this video isn’t doing Powerless justice

So it would be lovely if you guys could tone it down a little because it was so incredibly noticeable and annoying to watch-I literally had to quit after barely FOUR minutes in.

The main problem is that the humorous passages have similar pacing and lack running gags, which strips the content of personality. (For example, a human writer would take on a joke, and continue to build upon it. Here you are instead bombarded with 3572 different comments in a single subordinate clause.) There’s a part where her dress is described as “out of a Vogue magazine” (Literally doesn't describe the dress aside from “gorgeous”??? The reference itself doesn't contribute anything too??) and another where one of the final action scenes is commented on as “out of an action movie.” (Well, because it is an action scene,,, duh) Additionally, when they use phrases like “it’s giving *insert anything* energy,” it could be a random gen z. But trust me, ChatGPT will give you those phrases at the FIRST Opportunity. And don't even get me started on the spam of single question marks. No one would use humour that way. This is why those jokes don’t land; they come off as super generic and don't entail a joke to begin with, which is super characteristic for AI. As a result, the humour becomes utterly annoying. Unfortunately, since the format heavily relies it, this significantly decreases the overall quality of the content...which is why I wanted to point it out initially :)
