This encompasses so well what it's like to rewatch the Silence in the Library/Forrest of the Dead 2-parter after you've finished watching the rest of River's journey.
I love her so much, I love this relationship so much. I both love and hate that most of their time together it off-screen/just for them. I'll always want more, and Alex Kingston is an ABSOLUTE treat, and yet they tied up her bootstrap story SO perfectly.
River, there's no character like you, and I'll never tire of rewatches and edits.
River. Oh, River, River, River... My goddess of the Tardis. I love her so much. She is everything.
River Song will always be my favourite character of this show 😭❤️

Lovely. I know everyone is saying how much better she is with 12. While I do love her with 12, I prefer her with Eleven. And its neat that he is the last Doctor she sees in the series. That said, if they had given her more episodes with 12, I would have loved them. I know Alex was very pleased to get that last episode
There's something poetic about the last face she sees being the first Doctor face she saw - the one who knew everything about her, the one she married.

I love the clips you used, especially the shots from Extemis (where we see River's impact on Twelve after those 24 uninterrupted years together) and the one with Thirteen. She's not saying those things to Yaz out of fear of pain. She's saying them out of her experienced pain. Great job!! 💙💙

She's always happy about the doctor doesn't know who exactly is she, she has that look in her eyes with joy/happiness cuz she knew her youngself is gonna be so happy with him. But when she see 10th doc doesn't even know her.. the whole episode was a disaster for her. When she learnt that he doesn't even see her before she didn't smile, didn't show that shiny eyes till the end. Thats the saddest thing for doctor&river parts for me. This romance is the best well written story I've ever seen and unfortunately it ended so good that I have no right to say I want spinoff/a special episode 😅

Her origin story got kinda convoluted. Her mystery was what was great
I don't know if everyone can hear this as much as other people, but the slowed down audio from 25 fps to 24 fps on season 1 to 4 really is horrible. I will hate the BBC for releasing the Blu-rays in this state forever. I had to keep the UK DVDs instead, can't stand that audio
