For what is worth. The base you used on the last piece is a belt drive pulley from an old piece of heavy machinery. I may have been used with a steam engine. Probably around the turn of the last century.
Deidre, the bookstands absolutely fired my imagination. What a wonderful, inspirational video this was. Thank you for sharing and fanning the creative spark.
Always inspiring! The door knob project was great. I have a rental house built in 1886. Found several loose plates and knobs in a closet while renovating. Will upcycle with your ideas! They will look great in my “new” house built in 1908…
Your ideas are so out of the box and wonderful!!! I just love how your mind works!! The happiness door/key thing was so cute!! I also loved the giant hinge recipe card holder....brilliant!!❤ Tfs Deidre❤
The hinge looks like a Christmas tree and circles in the attached plate could hold votive candles. Would love to have all these junk drawer items to play with!
Awesome job👍🤓👍. Newer sub here. I metal detect, mudlark, dumping I love using items I find. You have some great ideas. Thanks for sharing. 👍🤓👍❤️ From Michigan
Love all of them but that last one is perfection.. it reminds me of something in Granpas garage thar he made for the sweetest picture of his grandchild. Love it.
I'd add several magnets to your pulley/spindle photo holder to hold more pictures/paper clips, etc. I' more cottage core myself, but I love making farmhouse stuff to sell. I save bits and bobs, too. See Adirondack Girl at Heart for great ways to use hinges (garden angels) and doorknob plates (Christmas ornaments).
Have you done a tutorial on how to “get rid” of the graphics you’ve modge podged onto a piece of project, if you really dislike how they look at the end? I haven’t seen the “road to recovery” video if you have done one?

How cool! Thanks 😊
Fabulous ideas. I think that the thing you called a pulley is an industrial trolley wheel.
Wonderful ideas & techniques!

The jewelry holder top is a finial to a lamp harp to hold the shade on.

I had an idea to use nice spindles as toilet roll holders. I want to make some for my house but don’t have any spindles 😆
