MissToxicc Life is Strange is a different kind of art. It certainly isn't trash like Telltale games. @@captasticts8419 tbf I'd love to hear what you think is 'better' - it's entirely subjective of course so it's not like I'll tell you you're 'wrong' or anything but there was a similar thread above and the 'better/as good' more recent games people mentioned up there I really think are just mediocre - on the other hand I much prefer SH1 to SH2 so again each to their own. Quite a true one in some respects, that it look at the fact, for James there was more for killing his wife then to simply put her out of her misery, it talks about how much suffering he had to go through as well, but instead of seeing him as a simple murderer it seems him as complicated.
I don't see what he did as murder. I see it as mercy. His wife was terminal and suffering in constant agony. He gave her peace. SH2 happened because he couldn't live with the choice he made. It tortured him. The one person he loved the most; it ate away at him. He had to go back and set it right.

I know its an old post, but i want to comment it anyway. I just dont think that a 2-2.5 hour-film would be able to capture the beauty of silent hill 2, because some of it is too subtle, and would probably be cut in the final project. I wish they made short series like American Horror Story, that would be much more enjoyable. Knowing a little bit of the background of each character, but still leaving some blanks to our imagination would be sublime.

That's why I don't marry anyone, I prefer a safe distance. I had my fair share of relationships and I really love the freedom I have now. I see too many people around me suffocating (pun intended) in love.
Not just that. They can cheat, walk away or completely destroy your life. Best to fuck and chuck.
@@eatanotherzio6811 It really isn't. Even if it's so immensely heartbreaking denying yourself love it cruel. Even if it isn't a romantic relationship friends, family.
@@eatanotherzio6811 That's sad. What life is that? The life of a sociopath?
Why do I get shivers when she starts talking???

Agreed. It fits so damn well to the video.
Come on Konami wake up!!! Let's get started a new adventure of Silent Hill. You can do it!!
This is the MASTERPIECE!!! "Akira Yamaoka", a GREAT "THANK YOU"!!!
The "PT" project of Kojima will never be release becuz of Konami, all they care is money
@@zdizzyz3007 remake today
@@ralvarado0495 thats silent hill 2 remake, not PT
After all these years this still gives me goosebumps
i’ve never even played this game and this music makes me feel something. truly and incredible composition
Mi melodía favorita de silent Hill 💖✨
Resident Evil has Chris, Leon, Ada, Clare, Wesker and Jill.
But Silent Hill has James, Harry, Heather, Alex, Henry, Murphy and Travis
I don't care what anyone says, homecoming and downpour were not bad games. Downpour especially had some terrifying side stories
I have never played this game, I still watch this though really because it makes me nostalgic for a time that's no longer there...the 2000's man....aww the days
if you want to experience the horror through different eyes, i recommend you to play the game.
i'm not joking when i'm saying that is a masterpiece.
Need a piece of media that'll make me feel like this intro movie made me feel the first time I saw it. After that, I just knew I'd have to play this game, and here we go now, it's one of my favorites of all time. Who would've thought I could fall in love with everything this game had to offer
Silent hill is back baby!
I love this song i cry everytime
its so sad.i love this music so much.silent hill 2 is a masterpiece.we need a remake
I just finished this game again. And ill play forever 😂 even when i will be grandma
i had 13 years old when i finish this game one of the best games that i play in my fucking life i love this saga many remembers of my childhod :)
Me too... I got the really bad ending... I cried... :(
vashe999 Silent Hill doesn't have bad endings ... it's representation of you ... and your actions ...
i was 11 when i played sh2 it is mostly what made me stay away from cars when i was little
I can't get over this game... It's just so fucking methaforic, it's just so deep, so good, I've played so many games and this is one of the most, if not the MOST artistically succesful game I've ever played, not even SH3 or SH4 or SH:Downpour (yes, I think downpoor is decent) are at the same level of SH2.
Let’s admit it, Silent Hill 2 had the best soundtracks of any game
EDIT: Played the Dark Souls Trilogy, best soundtrack ever
No man,is final fantasy vi
@@tomashernandezaguilera2729 was just about to say ffxv. These people must not play many games if they think this is the best soundtrack of a game.
@@welcometobangkok8220
I played many games, Final Fantasy and Silent Hill are toe-on-toe regarding OST quality.
Also lmao XV, one of the worst in the series
Hold your horses....
4 is just stunning as well tho
Absolutely perfect. Thank you for this.
Todavía no me puedo creer que acabo de ver el trailer del remake de este increíble juego estoy tan feliz
Llore cuando vi el trailer, literalmente... Ese juego es mi vida...
Ojala saquen remake de este mashup cuando salga el juego xd
This will remain close to me forever..
The best atmosphere in a video game.. Played first one when it came out, played SH 2 in 2003, and beat the game like 20x times...... to this day, its my favorite video game.... You can have all those Super realistic graphics, but no game will have an atmosphere like SH had... RIP The best Game Series Ever Created by a Human
2018 and this is still gold.
20 anos depois e ainda continua lindo
Happy 20th anniversary to Silent Hill 2, the greatest horror game ever made! I still remember the day when I got it for ps2 during the Christmas 20 years ago...
Still the greatest horror game ever made... Even though I don't like Konami anymore, please take us back to Silent Hill. I love this video so much...
I still love this game after many years. I have played a lot of other games, but Silent Hill 2 is the one that I can't forget. I will always love it without doubt o.o
One of the best pieces of Game Music ever, up there with the Soulreaver Intro and One Winged Angel.
*Those memories when i was a kid and used to play this glorious game!*
Back when you never knew what to expect from a videogame, ever.
Me watching this intro every couple of weeks just to feel something
its 2021 now, I used to watch this since I was child
2021 and it's still a pleasure to see this
This edit gives me goosebumps, god damn, great work!

i get chills hearing these
This is the moment when a video game became more than that. Still gives me shivers. Cult indeed.
The great AKIRA YAMAOKA thanks for so much inspiration
Dude AstroManila, I salute you for making such a tribute! The editing of the video made me feel like it was an official tribute or trailer. This is a masterpiece!
4:00 This part still gets me every time
oh man the memories... 2002 i miss you
The soundtrack just blends in the game flawlessly.
Silent Hill is a kind of psychiatric hospital but personally I love it. you're all alone with your own demons
