"You're not here" instantly takes me back to 2003. I was a senior in high school about to graduate and I was hanging out at my best friend's house along with my brother and other friends. He basically had a one room apartment over the garage all to himself that we would all hang out at. We had everything there including microwave and refrigerator. We were huge fans of the silent hill series so when the 3rd one came out, we all got together and ordered a bunch of pizzas and played all night. There was no alcohol or drugs, two things that I would end up getting into quite a bit about a decade later. In and out of jail in Japan and the US, so much shit I had to dig myself out of but those were the happiest years of my life back then. I'm currently in the Netherlands getting ready to go back to Japan and I guess I felt like taking a look back for a moment.

Letter from lost days is one of my favorites. I was a teen at the time and didn't know much about the first game so It wasn't as impacting as it was when I watched GirlGameGab play the first game and then played Silent Hill 3 and it was so sad. I can still remember what the conversation was during the song. And it was really good acting and still I cry a little when I listen to this song.

Tavell Clinton Mary Elizabeth McGlynn actually has an insanely large voice acting career (in MANY anime and video games- she's the voice of SH2 Maria) and has appeared as an actress on shows on top of being an amazing singer.
