2023/04/24: Prince of Persia on Apple IIe

- Prince of Persia was one of my favorite games back in the very early 1990s. This is a game that shows off the Apple’s capability a little better than our beloved MECC educational games. A sound card exists for the Apple II called a MockingBoard, and I plan to get a modern clone for it soon. Not sure if this game supports it or not, but it will still be a nice addition for my Apple IIe computers. #Appril2 #appleiie
Prince of Persia is a fun game. You'll love adding the Mockingboard sound card to your Apple IIe computer. I don't recall if it adds anything to Prince of Persia, but now I'm going to test it on my Apple IIe, however no spoilers for you LOL. You can test yourself once you get a Mockingboard 😛
When I got my first sound card for my birthday (January 1992), it was a Media Vision Thunder Board. I put it in my Amstrad PC1512, fired up Prince of Persia, and was blown away! Sadly, I don't think that PoP supports the Mocking Board, unless someone has made a modified version of it.
