My grandparents have been vegetarian their whole lives, which tbf is somewhat different from Vegan as they have diary products, but they are alive and healthy in their 80s

@@Lucifergaming407 probably about 4 days lol. Been doing research and looking for vegan/vegetarian protein options. My girlfriend went vegetarian then vegan not too long ago and I wanted to do the same but was unsure of protein sources.

I got the fastest gains of my life when I finally went vegan and lifted. It was crazy and I know from having worked out pretty heavily on and off over the years.

It looks great!! I love a good pasta salad. I have went vegetarian in 2006 when I had a health scare (they thought I had MS) and then went whole food plant based in 2017 when I received my MS diagnosis. Ten years without a relapse is pretty good! I have never felt healthier and have not had a relapse since!

As a vegan who just started gym training, your videos help me a lot on my journey.
95% of my diet is fruit & leafy greens and 5%plant based diet. Same as there being misconceptions on the plant based diet for gaining muscle, the instant I tell someone in the gym that I only eat fruit and salad leaves they ask the same question, "where do you get your protein from?" I kind of want to present a gorilla to them and say, "ask the same question about the gorillas who eat pretty much the same diet." There are level 3 Breatharians who gain muscle, and I was one of them. Science is magic and we pretty much are blinded by what we are taught to be fixed rules.

I can literally eat this whole entire box of pasta in one sitting and still only be halfway on my daily protein requirements. I don't get the math done by these people who say they eat 160g in a day

I'm a new subscriber. been a strict vegetarian for about 38 years. Just wondering if you were brought up a Hare Krishna as you have a Devotee name? Great channel. I've been training for about 45 years but do get lots of tendonitis problems in the shoulders and elbows. Keeping it moderate weights and only 2 or 3 workouts a week.

I'm not really a group person and hate the politics etc. I appreciate the Vedas and the philosophy. It is perfect. Just us humans are not. I've been training for about 45 years here in New Zealand. Getting alot of joint and tendon issues now. Do you recommend algie Omega 3 supplements for joint problems. And thanks you do a great service and are in amazing shape!

What is the difference between vegan and plant base?
So how much protein should we aim for in a day would you say? If trying to build muscle
it depends on your body weight and fitness goals. usually its 0.8g protein / kg lean body weight per day. if you are athletic or trying to bulk shoot for at least 1.6 g/kg but if you do intensive weight training some people even say go up to 2.4g/kg
Back of the box says 19g protein per 100g, how do you then turn the 250gram box into about 80g protein? According to the calculator it should be 47,5g in the entire box
If you want to avoid lectins, get rid of the tomato seeds and skins!
