Please do more science explanation in your videos! It's really cool to learn WHY lower quality tools can frizz your hair, or how hot tools create curls, etc. I can't be the only one who finds this information helpful in deciding what tools to buy. 😊
Now that Anna Laura is doing the whole natural curly thing can we get some hairstyles like braids, updos, half updos because I find doing cute hairstyles hard because you want to showcase your texture so you don't want to brush it out but then braids are difficult and it's just a whole mood.
Just wanted to say this has literally just helped me through a panic attack. Starting panicking for no reason and felt so alone because it's like 3am here and everyone is asleep.
Aw! I’ve been there. I’m sorry you had to go through that. Whenever you can get to sleep let your body rest. Panic attacks take such a toll. Either way, you’re doing great, you are brave, you are strong 💕. I know what that is like and I’m glad I could be part of helping you.
@@kayleymelissa Thank you! And if I weren't currently so drained I'd be completely freaking out that one of my fave youtubers has just replied a comment... hahahah
Try getting some ice from the freezer and holding it against your body like on your wrists. You can also try counting down by 7 starting from 100. Also try saying calming phrases over and over while you concentrate on your breathing. Hope this helps. I also get panic attacks and being near cold things really helps. My phrases are I am happy, I am healthy, and I am safe.
Panic attacks are such a horrible feeling, especially when you are alone at night. Some things you can try are sensory bands (it is basically a hair tie you snap on your wrist to bring you back to a grounded positiin), bead sorting, stringing, and counting (the focus it takes, takes your attention away from the panic and onto something else), ice cubes, or drawing small intricate patterns. These suggestions are not only from a fellow panic attack sufferer, but from a person who worked in the psychology field for 17 years. Stay strong my dear, you can conquer them!
"Doing it right is the shortcut" well that's going into my arsenal of things I'll be saying to remind myself on the daily to not let the laziness win lol.
That Conair 2 in 1 cool air tool is LIFE CHANGING. I’ve never been able to totally get the hang of curling my hair with a straightener, and with this tool I was able to literally get perfect waves in less than 10 minutes. I’m shook! Best $70 ever spent
When I first saw this comment I thought it was about the BaBylissPRO "CryoCare The ColdBrush" and instantly cringed but thankfully it was not. Btw if anyone is curious about that gimmick Milabu (yes it's spelled that way and not Malibu) did a video and there was no noticeable difference and it didn't even get properly cold. Essentially they just took out the heating element of a blow-drying wand brush and used gimmicky marketing for an easy cash grab, you are better off just using your blow-dryer or this thing Kayley is using that actually works.
I bought the conair after you two chanted‘buy it buy it buy it’ repeatedly! LOVE IT SOOO MUCH!!! Thank you for the recommendation! My curls are holding better than any other hair tools as well!!! Took 6 mins for the whole head!
The plastic ribbons almost give a beach wave look to me. There are definitely applications that would benefit from them! I have some, I just haven’t tried them, yet.
I love the conair styler! I have really bad tendinitis in my wrists which makes holding the straightener closed for curling really difficult. But this one makes it sooooo much easier!
Girl, same. My hair is so flat and fine that unless I drown them in hairspray, any curl I attempt will only last 30 mins tops, 15 mins without products. It's the sad story of my life. My hair hates me.
First time watching you ladies and I am totally cracking up! You two are hilarious and yet totally unpretentious which I Love! Totally cool vibes as well as well informative on reviewing the tools.
i love this series so much! hope to see more especially of the 4in1 5in1 hot hair tools since it's so multi-function and don't have to buy many different items.
I don't need a new curling iron or straightener but the convenience of having them both together would be nice, but they are already out of stock so our wallets are safe for now lol
Out of stock at Ulta - and I can't find it anywhere else (even the Conair site)! I'm in Canada but Conair is readily available here so I don't know what the deal is! All that's coming up is a similar Conair one but without the cooling.
Stefani Soliman I’ve literally refreshed the product page on Ulta for well over a month. I *finally* scored one this past Thursday. After checking out, I refreshed the page again to see if there were anymore in stock. They were sold out immediately. 😕 Good luck!
Since you loved the ponytail extension, I'd love to see you and Annalaura try out stuff from Insert Name Here! They've got wigs, ponytails, buns, hi-lites, and even a hair waver now!
The bubble curlers are my absolute fav!! They’re so easy to use and the girl typically turns out a lot better for me. But it is the same kind of 1 inch curl you’d get with a 1 inch wand
I have a bubble wand, and though it looks silly, it works well mostly to help keep the hair evenly spaced on the barrel, which is a genuine struggle for me with my waist-length hair.
Man, I can’t find the Calista Nouveau velvet hot rollers anywhere. The Calista website doesn’t even work. Great video though! I really like your opinion on trendy new hair tools. Please make more videos like this!
I am loving Anna Laura's hair! I'm going through my own curly girl journey and we seem to have the same hair type. I'm so interested in an update video of what she's been doing/using!
You two are so cute together! 😆 Anna Laura freaking out over no heat protectant in Kayley’s hair! 😂 “I’m sorry, Mama!” 🤣 Y’all got the end slogans down, girls! 💪 Yes, keep us posted on AL’s curly hair journey! My hair is naturally wavy and thin-fine, so I’ve never known what to do with it. Love y’all! 💜 God bless! 🙏 😘 💕
Thank you for trying out all these products for us, it really helps. I really like that ponytail extension on you, it's super cute! I need to check out the video on the ponytail hack you used today too. That Conair curling iron was pretty awesome too. Great video!😊
The curling iron... 2 heat settings... it killed me when Anna Laura(sorry if I wrote it wrong) wondered what the temperatures are and Kayley said fried and extra fried.
I am a wash and go girl. When I go out I do like to curl my hair but don't want all the extra work. It was nice to see your video since I get the true run down on products. Thank you!
Can you test out braid tools? I have arthritis and cant touch the back hairline of my head anymore. I've been trying to find something that works, but am struggling.
@Kayley super rocked that pony tail.......super fast and it was awesome....I wonder if you went out with it??....and you are so right about hot rollers....they are a BEAST....it's a learning curve and it's like driving a 5speed ....it takes experience...
Who else remembers using the curling iron (and I think it had a couple other options but maybe just different barrel sizes) from the late 90s or early 2000s where it worked with water. You filled up a piece that went in the base and the water powered the device. My one friend was hooked on that because she could bring it to high school or to a friend's house and fix her hair without having a cord to try and find a way to plug in.
The flat plastic curlers, I purchased many. I have knee length hair and it turned out to be a very easy way to introduce a wave to otherwise straight hair. I had to put three flat curlers to a strand but it was not difficult. It was a beautiful wave pattern and didn't take as long to dry as usual. My strands were about an inch square.
I just wanted to share a couple of hacks for wavy but not too wavy long hair... if you let your hair dry in a low pineapple you will get meghan markle's style. Braiding your hair upside down is also great. Heatless methods make your hair less frizzy if it is dry...
I love your videos, thank you. I am so excited to hear about your sisters curly girl hair journey. Most of the people I have seen do not get sweaty or workout. I curious how she deals with it all and how she deals with the sweaty hair scent and not being able to wash her hair. Does her husband ever say anything about it all? 😁
I'm Hispanic with lots of long frizzy hair, I gotta say I love the hot rollers only because they are velvet, the velvet seems to relax and give shine to my hair. I will buy them and the curling iron.❤❤❤
When I seen the wave formers in another wish video the 1st thing that came to my mind was the 2 of you doing a review and bam here it is!!! I just freaking knew it!!! Love you guys!!! I have shorter hair growing it out now and def miss doing the top knot bun!!!
product#2: holy snaps this is perfect for same day beach waves. im so tired of wrapping my hair and having to sleep in it all bunched up. Im naturally frizzy, hardy wavy anymore after years of straightening fine hair so im hesitant about heat as well. Thank you for this review 😊👍
Okay but bubble wands are great for touching up naturally wavy/ curly hair. I bought a cheap one years ago mainly out of curiosity and now it is my most used hair tool. They give very natural looking curls. Anna Laura should definitely try it out!
@@ccap3211 the curls are less perfect looking and I find each curl turns out a bit different so they look a lot more natural than a normal curling iron. Obviously not a necessity but I love mine, though it's definitely gotten some weird looks from guests if I leave it out on my bathroom counter 😂
@@ccap3211 you can either do that or go over the bubbles, I personally go over the bubbles as it gives it more of a wavy beachy curl and less of a ringlet. I like that depending if I go over the bubbles or between them I get a completely different curl so I can mix up the curl type with one tool.
The way you twist your hair in the curler twice, when your curling it is causing frizz. It creates a much tighter curl, so when you break it apart, the small coils stack on top of each other creating a frizzy/ undefined look. It's a great technique, I think it'd work AMAZING with a large barrel🤩
You gals are hilarious! The pony extension surprised me! Cute! Which length/color did you go with? And have you found a pony you like better since filming? Ty!!!
I love my curlformers... definitely you need to brush them out really well to make sure you don’t snag any hairs or have weird kinks- but my hair is hard to curl with a curling iron (it just falls out really fast) and these curls last all day.
I am so glad I was patient and stalked the Conair Cool Air tool on Ulta until it was available because it is a total game changer for me. Saw your review and had a feeling it was just the tool I was looking for to curl the pcs of my wavy hair that don't want to curl on their own consistently. It is just so easy to use and the results are amazing. Ulta just can not keep stock of it and couldn't find it anywhere else. Thank you for finding it and reviewing it!

AGREE!!! I was really hoping the cordless one was going to be included!!! But if the name brand one actually works, I’d be willing to try it.. just wish it had a regular cord..the battery rules give me a little anxiety.. So I just realized this is from 5 months ago... oh well.. maybe you have found one that you recommend 😬
I think the curl that you've got out of the first interchangeable barrels curling iron looks really good on you it might not have been smooth and I can't see that on my phone but the actual curl I loved it on you and almost looks like your friend's curl without the straight bits in it
Omg i want to get that conair cool air tool. I bought the Kirsten ess curling iron but I made my ends so fried. Maybe I did it wrong? But this seems so much better plus the cooling part will help make my curls last longer, since I am one of those people who have a hard time keeping there hair curled.
That second curling product (on day 1)was so confusing & when it sounded like 90s dial tone I'm just "nope, back away, abort mission, step away from that" the fake ponytail looks so cute!
Omg you just posted as I was contemplating my decision of just cutting my own hair... I cut my own bangs, and I thought about that for like 1-2 months. But this I thought he about last night... and I cut it today aaaaa
Am I the only one that wants a full tutorial on the “twist and duck out” method? @12:05. I need that kind of excitement in my life. “OOOOOOOOOOhhhhh!” Lol
Could you please do a video on cleaning/maintaining your hairbrushes and hot tools? Specifically the hairbrushes! I can get the hair out, but built up product in hair brushes is such a pain!
I live the pony tail. I have already ordered the curling iron. also, you tried on what looked like cloth pins, where did you get those from. I loved the end look.
I had a dream I met Anna Laura and we were talking all about the curly hair journey. I was asking all about tips and tricks. I have naturally curly hair. I just haven't embraced then in a very long time and I want to. I love you both very much.
I use hot rollers like old school sets, it looks horrific until I brush it out very well and then it looks bom. You can have different results depending on the placement but I never used them placed like that with a central parting lol. When you experiment different kind of placement and set times you can get super long lasting results with almost no damage.

But if the name brand one actually works, I’d be willing to try it.. just wish it had a regular cord..the battery rules give me a little anxiety..
So I just realized this is from 5 months ago... oh well.. maybe you have found one that you recommend 😬
@@shellbells5142 Lol, I really don't. Sorry.
Yo when the first curl came out out I was like oh shoot "" good cool air 😱😳😱 beautiful 😍
Literally just paused the video and ordered the Conair Cool Hair styler!! I’m so excited!!
Love the conair and the ponytail extension
I like those zigzag tubey things. They did a good job!
Fun video! Wondering where you got the tall white drawer cabinets? What brand are they? Thanks much.
Yes please! I need help with this too!
Maybe I should try a bubble wand, I want more uniform curls
Could you please do a video on cleaning/maintaining your hairbrushes and hot tools? Specifically the hairbrushes! I can get the hair out, but built up product in hair brushes is such a pain!
Lange has a curl tool with air cooling that has a long cord that swivels. Its awesome!
Wait... Kayley’s hair is in a topknot that is neat! Is this sorcery??
😂😂😂😂
I live the pony tail. I have already ordered the curling iron. also, you tried on what looked like cloth pins, where did you get those from. I loved the end look.
wow the cool air thing sounds AMAZING!! and probably less damaging for your hair too right
I want the Conair tool, will wait and see if it come on sale Black Friday.
Oh my gosh! You are in Raleigh?!?! Me too! How did I not realize this? Yay!
I got the conair thing for Christmas finally!!! Can’t wait to try it out
So, do you like it?
@@beatriceladouce965 yes!! it's so easy to use
That curler-straightener thang....bought it!!!!
So good! I’ve been fighting off people trying to take it home with them 😂😂😂
You’re so lucky! They’re all sold out already!
I would love to see you review the automatic self winding curling irons (thingys), please.
Thank you!
When you experiment different kind of placement and set times you can get super long lasting results with almost no damage.
amazon has full stock of the conair curler now and omg!!! easiest curls ever! so much love! little product and they actually last on my virgin hair lol. thank you for this!!!!!!!!
I love using hot rollers because I roll and then put on my makeup, have breakfast, etc, dress, curlers out...work
